Had an appt with Dr John for a dental implant and I was really impressed by his professionalism. He answered every question I had and throughly explained the process. Even the staff were so friendly and professional, I never had such a pleasant doctors visit from start to finish that left such a impression. Very impressed and highly recommended! Also the office is super nice and squeaky clean which I love! Thank you Dr John and team :) I now look forward to my dental appointments! Haha read more

I was really nervous about getting a tooth implant. One, because I know it's not cheap, and two, because I had Googled the process and it looked scary. But a good friend of mine (who's a pediatric dentist) recommended Caldwell Dental, and I'm SO glad she did. Dr. John was awesome. The whole process was quick and smooth. I was in and out in no time, felt almost no pain, and my implant is already healing nicely. I'm actually excited for the crown, knowing they use the latest technology and are so precise with their work. The office is beautiful, the staff is incredibly welcoming, and the care I received was top-notch. 10/10 experience. I highly recommend Dr. John, Dr. Kim, and the entire Caldwell Dental team. read more

What a great implant experience! I have been going to Caldwell dental pretty consistently these past few weeks to take care of my mom. They did such a great job with her teeth replacement! Not only was her experience pain free and relaxing, but the final outcome was beautiful. My mom is more confident than ever! Had a great experience with Dr Kim. Was advised by a colleague to come to this office, and I'm glad I did. First impression was that this place was so clean and modern! Parking was easy. Everyone was really welcoming and friendly, and Dr kim showed a lot of empathy and kindness when giving me instructions and examining me. Didn't rush me during the visit, which is really important when I have questions for my dentist. Made me feel comfortable and easy to make appointments, so I know I'll be coming back. read more

Had severe pain in my mouth, dentist got me in quickly and was efficient. Dr. Kim was compassionate and very nice. Checked on me later that evening to make sure I was okay. Great dentists who care about patients and love what they do. The office is clean and big. Very professional office

I chipped my tooth while on vacation and was desperate to get it fixed so it wouldn't show up in pictures. Caldwell Dental was able to take me in urgently and Dr. Kim fixed it right away. You can barely tell it was even chipped. Saved my vacation! read more

Wanted to leave them a good review because they only have a lower rating due to the previous practice owners. My hygienist does an excellent job and I've been super impressed by the new dentists who took over. They are very personable and professional. I also don't feel like I'm getting a hard sell in terms of extra care which is very important to me (and is sadly becoming rare in the dental industry). read more

Hafa Adai! I will never forget this dental visit. Forever grateful to Dr. John Kim. I am from the beautiful island of Guam and was visiting my sister in Cypress, California. During the trip my molar filling came out. The pain was unbearable and I didn't know how the rest of my vacation would end up. Fortunately, my sister and brother-in-law referred me to Caldwell Dental. I am so grateful to Dr. John Kim and his team for being able to accommodate me on short notice. His professionalism and expertise were shown throughout the visit. Dr. John was thorough in explaining what needed to be done, provided options on future care, and made me feel comfortable the whole time. Definitely a dental clinic I will visit again and a reputable establishment I will gladly refer to my friends and family. Thank you so much Dr. John for allowing me to enjoy the remainder of my vacation with my family. With much gratitude, Angelo Andres read more

I'm grateful for the doctors here who were patient with me in understanding my fears of going to the dentist. They made me feel so comfortable in the chair and it put all my nervousness at ease. Let me tell you, I HATE THE DENTIST! I have PTSD from bad dental experiences, but Dr. Kim was so gentle! He asked me if I was okay throughout my procedure. I walked away with fresh teeth and I couldn't be more grateful for him! Thank you! read more

I am a patient of Dr. Kim prior to his ownership here. I followed him to this office where he calls it his home office. Loved getting care at this beautiful office, great accommodations from his staff. FYI, I am particulate with my dentists as I have history and ties to dentistry. As always, thankful for the kind, quality, and educational experience! See you soon Caldwell Dental for routine check up! read more

I have been searching for a new dental office to get deep cleanings since I'm undergoing invisalign treatment with an orthodontist who does not offer dental services, and I was really impressed by the entire staff here. My dental hygienist was professional, efficient, and was very careful around my Invisalign attachments. I'm glad I found a new spot to keep my teeth clean and healthy! read more

I had the most horrible experience two years ago, when I came to Caldwell Dental. Not only did they mess up my teeth by unnecessary procedures and a deep root cleaning, which left my teeth and mouth sore for months: I was also overcharged for these procedures that Office Manager Leslie never checked with my Insurance Carrier for. Thank goodness, my Dental Insurance Carrier caught these huge mistakes. Leslie never apologized and I would urge people to check with their Insurance, before signing anything with Caldwell Dental and I'm just happy to be with a reputable and honest Dentist. One last food for thought comment... It's against the law, for a company to reward a Patient a In n Out certificate, or a Starbucks certificate in exchange for a good review, where there are signs all over the office. read more

I had just broke a tooth and was looking for a dentist and am so glad I found Dr. John Kim! He was able to take the tooth out and place an implant on the same day! I didn't know this was possible and it was so quick and easy. I always dread going but the staff was so friendly and really made me at ease. Dr Kim was patient and answered all my questions. Highly recommend and will come back for my routine dental cleaning! read more

Dr. John Kim gave me one of the best experiences I could have as a patient. He was extremely thorough with his process and you can really tell he cares for his patients. He checked up on me 2 weeks after my implant to make sure things were a 100 percent. Never experienced such care from a dental office and would happily go back. Would recommend!! read more

They have a very bad service. I took and appointment and gave them all my insurance information on the call and told them specifically to confirm they take my insurance which is a PPO. THEY CONFIRMED THEY TAKE IT ON THE CALL. When I went for my appointment, they said that the cleaning services that every insurance has covered was to be paid in full before the cleaning. And then they will bill my insurance and refund me. This office is a scam. read more

I needed a night guard made and found this place on Yelp. Everyone was friendly, the office was very clean, hygienist was great and my night guard fits great! Thanks Dr. Kim! read more

I would avoid this dental office like the plague. I was recommended to this place, and I wish I never went here. They said I needed four fillings as well as a root canal. They tried to up sell me like a used car salesmen. I went to another dental office and they said I didn't need a root canal just to replace an old filling with a new one. My new dentist explained to me I have a clean mouth and even wondered if I needed a deep cleaning. The hygienist at Caldwell Dental was this super young lady that told me I needed a deep cleaning. The hygienist as well as the two dentist work together to gouge as much money out of pocket as they can from patients even with dental insurance. Please save yourself the unnecessary dental work and avoid this place at all cost! read more

Finally! New ownership. I've been a long time Dr. Ty patient; it was just not the same with the past owners. Dr. Ty made me look forward to going to the dentist. Office is very clean and spacious, and from what I know, it is now under the new ownership of Dr.Kim. I just had my cleaning appointment at Caldwell dental. My dental hygienist was Vick and I tell you, probably the best cleaning I have ever had. He took his time and did a very thorough job. Told me what we will look for at my next appointment. He didn't want to jump to any conclusions until he saw how I reacted to this cleaning. Then I had the pleasure of seeing Dr Charles. I reminded him we met when I brought in my great grandson in for a cleaning. He immediately remembered me. Such a nice doctor and very thorough as well. Then I met kimberly in the front office as I was checking out and she as well was very kind and helpful. When I first came in for my appointment I did not get the young lady's name and she was just as kind and helpful. My appointment was right on time. The entire experience was very good. I highly recommend the dental team at Caldwell Dental. read more

I understand that completely, my daughter did not cancel. We showed up for appointment but my daughter had a test that day at school and decided having a tooth removed that day was not in her best interest because of that. We still wanted the rest of the work done. It does not give you the right to be disrespectful to a 15 year old and tell her get out of the chair!! If you wanted to be rude be rude to an adult (me) not a 15 year old! read more

A breath of fresh air and a brand new start. It was a pleasant surprise to have come in and found out that Caldwell Dental had changed ownership. I had come in during the previous week and had one of the former owners do a cavity but was coming in for a cleaning. Mr. Vic did a wonderful job and made me feel at ease as I have dentist phobia of being in that chair. Then Dr. Charles Kim came in for my exam and he was super humble and introduced himself as one of the new owners. He grew up locally to the area and I believe went to Cypress High School. Its nice to see him come back to the neighborhood and want to help the people in the community. I know there has been some bad reviews with the previous owners. I would recommend giving these new owners Dr. Charles and Dr. John a chance. read more

The best advice I can give you is STAY AWAY!!!! They do everything they can to convince you that you need unnecessary services and work done. They tried to con me into $3,500 worth of dental work but I (fortunately) went to another dentist (very close by) and had everything I actually needed done for a total of $920. Don't trust these new owners, they are NOTHING like the previous owners (the Caldwell's), they crooks are only out to rip people off with poor quality service and unnecessary things. I've also reported them to the American dental association too! read more

This was my 1st visit to Caldwell Dental. The lobby area was nicely decorated. Their front office staff was welcoming and quickly helped me check in. Kara, my dental hygienist, called me back right on time. Her exam room was professional & clean. Kara was awesome ! She explained what she was doing or what she was going to do to help with my anxiety. Her gentle hands made me feel at ease too. I've already pre-booked my next appointment with her. Dr. Mina was also very helpful with explaining the additional suggested procedures needed. Thank you Kara and Caldwell Dental :) read more
