Worst quality nails I have ever gotten. Those nails are 2 weeks old and look awful. On some of the nails the acrylic is not only on the nail but also almost on my skin. One nail is already broken though i don't do anything too harsh, I'm a nanny. I wanted french nails and told the artist that I didn't wanted the natural part to pinkish. She agreed and then gave me a transparent look which looks awful in my opinion. You can see the glue and the natural nail under, it just looks messy and bad. I wish she would have told me she was going to it transparent because then I would've rather taking the pinkish tone she wanted to give me before. The blue is coming off on some nails as well. Well now it's been barely two weeks and the nails look like this. This quality is not worth $50. On top of that, when the nails were about to be done she had me put them under the lights and then stood up and left. She didn't say for how long or anything. After a few minutes she came back from the back of the studio, fully dressed in jacket and bag and left the studio. I assume her shift was over. Again, she didn't even tell me for how long the nails needed to be under that light. She didn't say bye either. I will look for another nail studio. read more

Definitely a hole in the wall place, not clean, pretty outdated. The people were really nice even though it was really hard to understand them, they talk soooo quietly. I was switched back and forth to accommodate the walk ins, which was fine because i was a walk in myself. Price was pretty affordable, the cheapest I've seen in this area, i paid $55 with tip for Acrylic gel nails. I go here every three weeks to get my eyelash extension fill by Mimi. This is my newest obsession and I am absolutely in love with the volume extensions! Mimi really takes her time to apply extensions on every eyelash so each appointment takes about 1.5 to 2 hours, but I don't ever have to wear eyeliner or mascara anymore so it is saving me tons of time and energy when I get ready in the morning. I do get my nails done here too, after trying two different places in Woodbridge, I think I am going to be a regular here. I've been coming to Victory Nails for eyebrow waxing only, so I can't comment on their mani/pedi services. I've had my eyebrows done by the owner, Tin, for about 10 years now. I've always walked away happy afterwards - an eyebrow wax here is only $10 bucks and it's better than several upscale salon eyebrow services I've tried before (that cost $25 and up). I moved to Fairfax and tried other salons that were closer to me, but no other place/person has performed the magic that Tin does on my eyebrows. As other reviewers commented, the place is a little dumpy. But don't judge a book by it's cover! I still drive down to Woodbridge when I can to get my eyebrows waxed here. read more

I was in the area and decided to try this place when one of my nails broke. This place is not as the other nail salon that I usually go to. A very polite guy did my nail but I didn't like it at all. I did the powder dip. The color looks good but it is so thick. I paid $50 , no extension , nothing!!!!! Just for a fill with different color. The place is one big mess! No decoration what's so ever . Lots of signs on the wall-all about price and rules and what not. The place does not give you that "spa" feeling that you get when you go to nail salons. The blinds were closed (I even though the place was closed till I see the "open" sign) and it was 4pm. It would be nice if they come up with a different method to block the sun rays . I will not go back for sure but I hope the owner pays more attention to the appearance of this place as the location is very good. read more

I was coming back home from my sisters house and stumbled upon this nail salon. At the time I was desperate to get my nails done so I went ahead inside. This place is very run down; the decorations, furniture...everything! I was thinking of leaving but decided to just stick it through. I wanted to do a simple shellac in a nude pink color. The price for shellac is only $15 which really surprised me because other nail salons charge ATLEAST $25 and up and I was impressed at how many different colors they had for shellac. These people actually put a lot of care into doing your nails. They're very gentle and they work thoroughly. I have very sensitive nails and cutting them just a little can be painful, but when I told the technician (Lili) she was very gentle and checked each nail to see how far she could cut off without hurting me. Other salons don't care and I end up leaving with sore finger nails. I'm actually very pleased with this nail salon if they can renovate the inside a little I might come by more often. read more

This was a horrific experience. I should have walked out when I first got there. The place is shabby and not only does nails but tattoos, piercings, and watch/radio/misc repairs as well. No one greets you except to grunt towards a sign in sheet. I waited patiently while calculating the possibility of getting hepatitis from this place. I only wanted to remove my full set and get a manicure so I thought I'd stuck it out. A woman (may or may not be Lili, we sat at a table with that name tag) came over and I had so much trouble communicating with her. I'm half Asian, lived a third of my life in south east Asia, and I still could barely communicate what I wanted. Finally she got that I wanted to remove the full set and promptly started to try to pry them off with a random acrylic nail tip that was ready laying on the table. She didn't soak or anything. Just kept jamming it between. I flinched multiple times and told her it really hurt. She'd pause, clip it a little, then back to jamming. At one point she actually pierced the middle of my nail and it bled. Finally it hurt so badly I quit. She got upset that I made her stop and still charged me $10 and got irritated that I didn't leave a tip. She tore my nails and the pierced nail hurts to even have the finger tip touched. I really hate giving out bad reviews on Yelp but when their service isn't up to the standards of other similar businesses, I feel it's my duty to Yelp. I needed my nails done desperately for a date. I have my usual nail salons but decided to give this place a try because of its proximity to my work. I saw the bad reviews on Yelp but I'm hoping they will prove me wrong? The girl did not soak my gel long enough for the polish to come off easy. She ended up scraping off a lot of the top layer. She also did not notice or just chose to ignore old polish that still remained on my nail. I had to point it out to her to fix it. Also my nail length were uneven. I usually go to julie at T nails, jade or linda at complex nails. I think I'll just stick to my regular salon. The cost of my manicure only was 35, plus tip came out to 42. I had been a client for over 15 years and in the most recent years Tin the owner has become extremely rude and disrespectful. They practice less than stellar cleanliness, they do not dipose of one time use tools, they do not properly sanitize and disinfect their tools and foot baths, they double dip in to the wax. Due to this I had fungus growth on my nails and when brought to the owners attention he asked for me to take my business elsewhere instead of addressing the issue at hand. read more

This place is charmingly ghetto in terms of interior design, their pedicure chairs work sometimes...sometimes they don't. Either way, that doesn't take away from the quality of work here.
