I've visited this salon three times. The first pedicure was with April and one of the best I've had in so long. So it encouraged me to come back for a manicure- I waited an hour to be seen and had an appt so that put a bad taste in my mouth. April was out of town so I visited and saw Anna for a pedicure. The next day I woke up with a MAJOR infection. I couldn't walk and I was in pure agony. I went to urgent care and they said it was a huge infection from the pedicure and I had to go on an aggressive course of antibiotics. This salon is not clean or the nail artist did not take precaution to clean her tools. It's always everyone's nightmare to get a pedicure at a salon because you never know how clean they are especially when you're just starting out at a place. I'm 30 and I've been getting pedicures done every single month since I was 20 and I've never had this happen. Unfortunately, I will never return to this salon and I thought it was my due diligence to give them feedback but also warn others to be careful and ask for all tools to be cleaned in front of them.
In town, found a Groupon for a massage and facial decided to try this place out. Arrived on time and was warmly greeted by who I believe was the owner. Checked in and was escorted to the massage room. The massage was phenomenal and so was the facial, I fell asleep and woke up feeling rejuvenated and relaxed all in one. A definite must try and on my list of places to return when in town.
I was so happy to have found this nail place. I had dip, dil had pedicure and hubs had pedicure. We all were very happy with the service and quality. I am picky about my nails and Den did a great job. Thank you all.
I quickly got an appointment. Kevin provided me a gel French mani and happy-feet spa pedi. He did a wonderful job, was polite, and very detail oriented. The atmosphere was pretty standard for a nail spa, and the pedi was super relaxing. Classical music in the background and the workers and patrons were happy and friendly with each other. It wasn't too loud like the big salons, that's nice. It's a small shop, and they do good work!

Joy nails has been my go to spot for years, even while living in DC I'd make the trek over to Woodbridge. The ladies are all so nice, top notch service, and their work is so good! I came last week and got a pedicure with Mai and she was amazing! I had a black toenail and a broken toenail (hiking am I right?) and she helped me find a color that would cover the dark toe and rebuilt a part of my broken nail! She did a wonderful job with the scrub and and overall so kind. I came back today and got my nails done by Christy! I made a last minute decision to change from gel to dip (sorry!) and she was really accommodating. I had a complicated design, different color on each nail with a small line. She did an INCREDIBLE job, so sweet and explained why I should do certain colors and what length would look best. I felt like an actual princess!
I was able to get an appointment quickly. Sofia was great! And very nice. Good price as well.

I always have a great experience at this nail salon. The atmosphere is always clean, welcoming, and relaxing. My nail technicians take their time to listen to what I want and make helpful suggestions without being pushy. I recommend seeing Lily, Den, Kevin, or Jenny. Overall, I always leave feeling very happy with my nails and overall experience. I recommend this salon to others looking for all type of nail and wax services. read more
Kevin is the absolute best! He's the only person I will let do my nails from now on. He did my nails three times already and each time I loved! I have been looking on Pinterest for inspiration and he does the design exactly how I ask. The prices are also very reasonable!! They also have great snacks and drinks so that's a plus. I wish i could give zero stars! i got a pedicure here about a week and a half ago. i noticed the polish looked a bit too thick when i left, and sure enough the next day it already started to lift off of my big toe. i went back to have someone fix it and one of the ladies who's name i did not get but she seemed to be the owner or someone in charge told me she would fix it since the woman who did my pedicure originally was not there. she proceeds to drill off the polish, then wants to try to GLUE the gel base back on my toe!!!! i immediately told her she is not gluing it back, i did not want any mold to grow between the gel and my nail since i had already showered and water could have gotten in. she seemed visibly upset but then PEELS the gel off in one piece!! started showing it to the other ladies too. after that she puts the hard gel and the polish back on but cut me a few times and tells me "i didn't cut you, it was already cut" as if i didn't literally FEEL her cut me! (i didn't even mention anything about the cut, she mentioned it herself) and let me go with my toe looking absolutely insane. and just today, not even 2 weeks later, my whole other toe nail just popped off!! never giving this place my money again!! complete waste, awful service, 0/10. read more

I've been going to Joy Nail & Spa for about a year now and I love it so much!! The staff are always so welcoming and they are always able to schedule my appointment or fit me in if it's a last minute request. These are my most recent nails done by Jenny!! She did them nearly identical to the inspo picture I showed her and she did an amazing job. Normally when I ask for a design or something fancy on my nails I'm told they are too short and need tips, but I just showed Jenny the picture and she said okay and did the damn thing! If you like fancy nails artwork this may not be the best place to go. After reading the reviews and seeing the photos I was hopeful that I had found a nail place that could execute beautiful designs For basic nail jobs, they get the job done. The basic pedicure was good and my 5-year-old daughter enjoyed the massage chair. The prices are fair. All the techs seem nice and worked together. I love showing off my nails but this design is not something I will be proud to share. Although they are not great at nail art, they are friendly and I appreciated the friendly environment. read more

Omg my new favorite place to go in Woodbridge area! Ms.Kay did my nails and I love them! The shaping and the color, she made it happen just like the vision I had. My first visit and I'll definitely be back! I called them last minute and they were able to fit me in. The salon was busy but they didn't rush me. I got a dip mani for $50.
