Took my daughter here and asked for wolf cut. Even showed the picture about five times. Came out looking NOTHING like the picture. Just butchered my daughters hair by cutting it TOO SHORT!! No layers, no nothing! Just CHOP CHOP!! After we left, my daughter told me that the owner nicked her neck three times!! Honestly, if I had known during the cut, all hell would've been let loose. Would give this place ZERO stars if I could. If any parent reads this, please take your kids to SALON ACCENTS down the street. BEWARE the reviews are old and the place has all new people. I had a terrible experience with a cut and color. My daughter asked for curtain bangs and was given extra short regular bangs. I was given orange tiger stripes instead of caramel highlights. I asked for a refund and she told me she was too busy to deal with my complaints. Suni the owner, seems very nice, but she does not know how to cut hair at all. Layers were choppy and uneven. She asked if I was satisfied and offered to fix it, but it was clear that it would just get worse. Then she offered to blow dry for an extra $10. Blow dry was a curling blow dryer to hide the chunky cuts. $95.00 for her to ruin a grown out good haircut. No wash, just wet and comb. The door was locked, no lights on inside and the place looked abandoned-- all during business hours. This review is for Eram Zee, the new owner of Salon Red. Beware, the old reviews on this salon are from a previous owner. She just opened her salon last Monday, which I found out after she already started doing my hair. I don't want to make this too long because it's just going to frustrate me more than I already am. However, the pictures that I will attach will be self-explanatory. The first picture attached will be what I showed as an example of what I wanted done to my hair. The next photos will be how she left my hair at the end of the appointment. The last photo will show what I paid for this service, which I was told would be $150 at the beginning. I ended up having to pay more for butchered hair and now I will have to waste even more time and money to go to a different salon to fix what she has done because honestly I don't believe she is capable of fixing this mess herself so I will not even waste my time. I wouldn't recommend this place to anybody, I actually went to work today with this hair (so embarrassing) and people were commenting on how badly she messed up my hair. You go to a salon to feel good about yourself, not come out feeling self-conscious. I have never cried after someone has done my hair until this day, save yourself a headache and don't get your hair done at this place. read more

In my experience, most smaller salons aren't able to pull of cutting pixie cuts or shorter hair, but after visiting Salon Red I was pleasantly surprised! I've been getting my hair cut short for years, and at the start of COVID-19 I didn't think I'd be able to get my hair cut as frequently as needed to maintain a pixie cut. My regular salon is fairly busy and has a lot of clientele, so I knew it would be extremely difficult to get an appointment there. After doing some googling I found Salon Red- and seeing all the 5 star reviews I decided to give it a shot. Salon Red took a lot of precautions with my appointment- which is extraordinary comforting. However be sure to call before your appointment- I had mine pushed off by an hour. Information can be a touch hard to find- concerning appointment times, but if you take care setting up appointments and calling, you should be fine. Besides all of that, very true professional, very clean, and I ended up with a cute hair cut- took some more styling at home, but that's pretty normal for me. Thank you!! read more
