It was the first time I'd taken my car to get an oil change in more than 20 years, my husband always takes care of this chore, but he had the flu and I needed my car to be ready the next morning for a long drive to visit my dad who was battling Stage 4 Brain Cancer. I was nervous to say the least, but upon arriving I was greeted by Moose and Ron, who took great care in explaining everything to me. I was pleasantly surprised at how quickly the service was completed, and I was back on the road in no time with a free car wash!! But what really sets this place apart is their attention to detail. Not only did they change the oil, but they also performed a thorough inspection of my vehicle and alerted me to a potential issue they discovered. Their exceptional service, friendly staff, and attention to detail make them stand out from the rest. Trust me, you won't be disappointed!

While those items were done, many of my original concerns were ignored or only briefly looked at. Right after picking it up, my ABS and Traction Control lights came on. Within days the check engine light appeared as well. I had to bring the car back four or five times in just two months for the same problem, and every time I was told it was "fixed" -- only for the lights to return. I also asked them to fix a scraping plastic piece under my front bumper, which they promised to handle but never touched. To make matters worse, the check engine light came back on the same day I noticed the bumper issue was ignored. The lack of communication and accountability was unacceptable. I was rarely given updates, felt dismissed rather than taken seriously, and was left without reliable transportation while my car sat in their shop. After repeated failures, poor customer service, and wasted time and money, I have lost all trust in Tecumseh Tire Exchange. I'll be taking my business elsewhere and cannot recommend their services.

We are retired and meticulously maintain our vehicles. Oil changes and tire rotations every 5000…read moremiles. Have done this for the past 40 years and our vehicles hold up well. We have been going to Fast Lane Quick Lube for about the last 4 years and have had about 15 oil changes done by them. They are the only place that has done the oil changes on our vehicles. We only had one bad experience in the past- they did not replace oil drain cap. Luckily we noticed the drip while we were at the Speedway just across the street and went back and they put cap back in. They were apologetic. No harm, no foul. About a week ago, we went in to have and oil change done on a Saturday. They could not get the filter off and asked that we come back Monday and they would have a torque tool to help get the filter loose. No problem, we said. We came back Monday and with some elbow grease they were able to get the filter loose (they were the ones that over tightened the filter in the 1st place). We had the oil change done and were on our way. A couple days later there was an oil spot on the drive. I took the vehicle back in. They replaced the filter. We were on our way. Last night, I noticed oil on the drive again. This morning I went back in to Fast Lane. They looked at the filter and saw that there was oil leaking from it again. I asked the tech if this was common. He said no- that he does not see this as a regular problem. He then corrected himself and said, well maybe I have seen this sometimes because you have a cap that holds the filter in place. Sometimes there might be an issue with the cap holder that holds the filter in place. There could be something wrong with the filter holder. They replaced the filter and I left. I then called the Toyota dealer here in Canton and asked them if they had a filter cap holder in stock. He said yes, so I drove over and picked one up. I asked the Toyota man if this issue is common- he he had seen it when the cap is over tightened. I paid for the new cap and went back to Fast Lane. This is now my 5th trip in a week to have an oil change done correctly. I asked the tech to replace the cap with the new one I just purchased at the Toyota dealer. He said that he would now charge me for a new filter. I was incredulous, and told him that I was having to come back repeatedly because of his mistakes. I refused to pay for another filter and left. Mistakes happen. I've had a hundred oil changes done in my life and never had a filter over tightened. But I understand that stuff happens. In this case, the business was unwilling to fix their mistake without charging me. I am left with the the cost of a new filter cap, the cleanup job of the 4 oil stains on my driveway and the cost of having someone else replace the oil cap. Sometimes things happen. But when the business that caused the issue refuses to stand behind their work, that is a problem. Word to the wise, take your business elsewhere- these guys don't make good on their promise to give you what you paid for and if they make a mistake they'll charge you to fix an issue they caused in the 1st place.
