They didn't put my coupon in and when i told them they just said oops sorry did not fix the problem by just refunding me the cost of the coupon then when they were finished they didn't know how to reset my oil life stating we don't know how to do that read more

Came for an oil change. Guy said they couldn't get my filter off. Came down the street to the oil exchange in Canton and when they pop the hood, the last place did not put oil cap back on. Oil all over the engine compartment in this place cleaned it all up and had no issue getting the filter off. 10 out of 10 would NOT recommend. Get it together!! read more

100% would recommend! These guys went above and beyond to ensure that my vehicle could safely get me to my holiday travels. I had an oil leak, and not only were they able to figure out the cause of the leak, but they also waited while I purchased the part necessary for it to be fixed! They took videos of the issue before and after it was fixed and explained everything to me very clearly. Their customer service was amazing; they had compassion for my situation. Because I simply can't resist those coupons in a Valpak, that is how I found the Lube Stop. I have been there every time my Change Oil light starts glaring at me and with 210,000+ miles on my car, that's a lot. It is easy to find. I can count on less than one hand the times I've had to wait for service. As expected, turnover at these quick-change places can be expected. But somehow, they seem to hire the nicest guys. They are efficient, friendly, and don't try to sell me an entire new car while there. They do everything they say they're going to do and the price is very reasonable. I have never had a bad experience there or even a mediocre one. Just consistent, friendly, fast, great service. Thanks guys! read more

I have went to this business for years and happy with service. Now I have a small issue and have a constructive suggestion but the owner has completely isolated himself from being contacted. The suggestion is a small one but would eliminate some customer complaints. I tried to talk with his manager but all he wanted to do was yell and cut me off. No people skills. Wouldn't even listen or consider what I was saying. It was a small suggestion. Near closing time, I was suggesting putting a sign by the entrance to the rear of the building saying "closed" to prevent people from driving around the back and getting in line and waiting to be serviced just to be told after waiting that they are now closed and you find out you were just wasting your time. All the manager had to do was listen to me, apologize for the inconvenience and say he'll talk with the owner. That would have been totally fine with me. I had no complaint about the workers BUT now I have a complaint about the manager. If I could talk with the owner for 2 minutes, it would resolve my "now" complaint. The manager said "we don't have a sign like that" and "the owner won't even give us gloves to work with". I'm a customer and didn't need to hear that. The manager NEEDS customer service training. He wouldn't even listen to what I was saying, just kept cutting me off and yelling at me saying "we can't please every person". My suggestion was meant to be constructive, not a complaint. I have been a customer of A & A Oil Change in Romulus for almost 23 years. After not visiting in awhile, I went there last week to get an oil change and was told that my antifreeze was bad and needed to be changed and they just happen to be offering a $10 off special today for $69.99. I was tempted to do it since I have 140K miles on it and it has been changed since new in 2014, but I was running late and told them I would come back next week. Called around to see if I could find it cheaper but no luck...dealer wanted $161. I happen to be working in Belleville today and saw Lube Stop, so I called to get their price.....$61.50. Great... I saved my self a few bucks! Went in and told them I wanted the radiator flush. The man opened my radiator and took a sample of antifreeze out to test its strength before starting the process. He then asked me what prompted me to have it changed.....he showed me the tester and it was off the chart on the strong side and clear with no particles floating around. He then tested their new antifreeze and it was strong, but not as strong as what I currently have in my radiator! He said he would change it if I wanted but didn't see the point of me spending the money if I didn't need to. How nice it was to hear someone willing to turn down a sale for the sake of honesty!! Especially in the auto repair industry. That goes a long way in my book! Thank you!!! As for my future business.....it just went down the road a few miles to Belleville!! Thank you so much Lube Stop!
