I didn't realize I had been coming here for 10 years but I guess I have! And the good news is that it's still great! I went just this afternoon and I was in and out in 10 minutes. They changed my oil and air filter, checked my tires and other fluids, and even gave me a complimentary bottle of cold water and a couple of dashboard wipes, and sent me on my way! I had an appointment but it doesn't really matter. First come first served. There was no one in the office so the the techs call you in. Antonio was prompt and courteous. I tried a synthetic blend for the first time. It was a little bit more and one of the options from my manufacturer. I scheduled a tire rotation but they did not check my reservation, so I skipped it since you need another bay with a dedicated mechanic. I generally prefer going to a full service mechanic but I would not mind coming here again. The hardest part is finding the place. It is immediately after the roundabout and by Tim Hortons. Thank you Yelp... again... for pointing me in the direction of a great local business. I love my auto mechanic, and in upstate New York I would regularly bring my car to the mechanic for its regularly scheduled oil changes. But sometimes, especially here in Ann Arbor, the good mechanics can get awfully busy. Every now and again the car just needs a quick and simple oil change. In those instances, I have found myself at Choice Quick Lube and each time has been surprisingly quick and painless. Yes, on my first visit, the tech told me I needed some kind of filter thing. But because I had read on Yelp first that CQL rarely engages in add-on shenanigans, I was comforted by the notion that perhaps I really needed one. On my second visit, there were no solicitations of any kind. Woo hoo! The location can be a little bit tricky to get into with the roundabout and the median cut outs, but once you've successfully made it on to the lot subsequent visits are a piece of cake. It really is amazing how fast and friendly the team at CQL have been at each oil change. Plus their location on the south side of town gives me an excuse to pop into Zingerman's Bakehouse for some après oil change snacks. Sitting in the car can be exhausting. read more

I am in the midst of a cross country trip and decided I would get my oil changed in my F150 truck. My initial reaction to my experience was very positive. The staff appeared to be professional and very knowledgeable. I left the following day and noticed that my fuel mileage was significantly lower than before the oil change. I stopped at a gas station and checked my oil. It was overfilled by about a pint. I am now believing that the filter may not have been replaced as this would match the overfill issue. Unfortunately where I am there are no oil change locations. I noticed the same issue on a previous review. Very frustrated in Michigan. read more

This is the best service I've ever gotten and that includes any auto shop. They went above and beyond to help me with my headlight that was off-center and also added a few screws in under my hood because there was a rattling sound. And the best part is they did this during my oil change so it was super efficient. Their Customer Service is off the charts. If I could give them six stars I would. I took my truck there for an oil change and requested Mobil 1 full synthetic. However, instead of filling my truck with Mobil 1, like I said, they filled it with Kendall oil. The best part is on the bill they put down Mobil 1. Who knows what else they are skimming on. read more

About a month ago I went here for an oil change and everything was seemingly fine until my car began having issues starting up. I took it to a mechanic and what do you know? My oil was overfilled from that oil change which caused a majority of problems. This is thousands of dollars in repairs because these people were incompetent and moronic. literally the worst oil change I have ever had. first off they were laughing because I asked for just a "standard oil change". then they did not do anything else other than change the oil which took 3 minutes. I have never got an oil change where they didn't fill all of my fluids. ive had places go as far as cleaning my windows and lube everything. these guys were very unprofessional and lazy. read more

They did everything necessary and then some to make sure my ride was up to spec for a long drive out of state.
