We had just moved to Southern Oregon during the heavy snow year and our new home had several trees…read morelocated close to the back of the house. Our home has a steep driveway and the trees we located on the back of a sloped mountain side. My husband and I got several quotes for the job. We needed 6 trees removed due to potential damage to our new home. We noticed that several of the contractors wanted to charge us more money because they couldn't drive their boom lift truck up our driveway to help them do less work. How does that make sense? Other contractors gave us the impression that because we live in a nicer area that their outrageous prices wouldn't seem abnormal to us. We were getting quotes for thousands of dollars, it was outrageous. A lot of the contractors liked to ask a lot of questions to get a feel for what seemed to me, how much money we made to figure out how much to charge us. The quotes we becoming a nightmare! The last 2 contractors we saw seemed more honest then most, Tree MD was one of those two. The owner John spoke we me without my husband and took the time to explain the process and why the work would take time. He didn't make me feel because my husband wasn't around that I was being treated unless, like a silly housewife who doesn't know anything. He walked all over my property and did a thorough evaluation for safety for himself and his crew before quoting me the job cost. He made me feel like I mattered as a customer and that he would be careful and respectful of my other plants and furniture I might have outside. A lot of contractors are messy and inconsiderate of home owners belongings and leave trash etc.., but Tree MD isn't one of those contractors. I would highly recommend Tree MD for any tree service if you want an honest and reliable quote. By the way they climbed the trees to cut them down. Steven Velasquez

A one day job turned into two days, the second day I had to be out of town. It was my mistake…read moretrusting that he would have moral ethics and complete the job true to his word; he was paid the first day. Left my yard a mess, the rocks just scattered. He didn't come out to fix them for nearly a month. None of this would have happened had he not received the check the first day. I'm really bummed that it went this way. I really wish I could have given a great review. I am thoroughly disappointed, and felt taken advantage of, that the job wasn't complete only because there wasn't anyone to inspect the final job. I will still need more tree work in the next few years. I'll certainly be going with a more professional outfit. If you need a job done half assed, your yard left a mess, a serious lack of integrity, this is the tree company for you. Update: Still dealing with stumps in the ground!

I hired Good Bloke Tree Service to trim branches from my neighbor's tree hanging over my property…read more I was quoted $500 and agreed, expecting a reasonable amount of trimming. Due to my neighbor's concerns, we agreed the work would stay at the property line--but only three or four branches were removed. After paying $500, I realized very little work had been done. I asked if the quote could be reconsidered, but they refused. To make matters worse, their lift left large ruts in both my front and back yard. They came back to "fix" the front yard, but it was poorly done, and I refused to have them fix the back yard. Debris was left behind, and their lift even broke down and sat in my yard. Paying $500 for a few branches removed and damage left behind is unacceptable. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this company to anyone.

I have used them twice. The first time was random - OFS was the first company to answer the phone and say they could come remove and chip several small trees I had cut down in my back yard. They showed up on time, did the work competently and quickly, and did a great job cleaning up. The second time was a much larger job - taking down two trees (one an 80 ft tall dying cedar tree) and extensively trimming two others. Jose came out and discussed the job, and gave us a number of options on doing the work. The job cost was significantly less than we expected based on other tree jobs we were aware of. Again, Jose and his crew showed up on time and worked closely with us to ensure everything we wanted to get done got done. His crew got the job done quickly and efficiently were careful not to damage any of our other landscaping. And the clean-up was impeccable. Great locally owned and operated company to entrust all your tree trimming and removal needs to.

I called Tree-Mend-Us and Bryon answered immediately. He was able to come out and quote the job…read morehours after I called. We needed three trees removed, with one of those trees being very sketchy as it had been dead for years and was right on three other shared property lines. The quote was very reasonable and the team was able to get to it quicker than other businesses at that time. When the team got here the first thing I noticed is how well they assessed the safety of the job. They completed the job in a few hours time and did so safely. I appreciate how well they cleaned up afterwords as well. They will continue to be one of the first businesses I call for tree services. Thanks Bryon and Team!!!

These guys were working 100% safely, keeping the crew and everyone around the worksite safe at all times. They have nothing to worry about if the OSHA inspector shows up all of a sudden. Other than that, they did everything they said they would including hauling off the remains of the tree, and a complete cleanup of the jobsite. Wish I could give them 10 stars.

I now know why Hunter Tree Care was the lowest bidder from among the arborists I received quotes…read morefrom. We needed for our VERY large, old, California Black Oak tree to be cleaned up and all the mistletoe removed, except for the branches over the power lines. Pacific Power contracts w/ a company to do that work. Hunter Tree Service assured us that they could remove all the mistletoe at the far ends of many of the higher branches. When they said they were done, the reason they gave for not removing the mistletoe from all those high branches was that their equipment would not reach that far. Of course they had to know this at the start, but obviously they must be hard up for work. If you are considering this company because they are the low bidder, you might want to reconsider your decision!
