We needed for our VERY large, old, California Black Oak tree to be cleaned up and all the mistletoe removed, except for the branches over the power lines. Pacific Power contracts w/ a company to do that work. Hunter Tree Service assured us that they could remove all the mistletoe at the far ends of many of the higher branches. When they said they were done, the reason they gave for not removing the mistletoe from all those high branches was that their equipment would not reach that far. Of course they had to know this at the start, but obviously they must be hard up for work. If you are considering this company because they are the low bidder, you might want to reconsider your decision!

A one day job turned into two days, the second day I had to be out of town. It was my mistake…read moretrusting that he would have moral ethics and complete the job true to his word; he was paid the first day. Left my yard a mess, the rocks just scattered. He didn't come out to fix them for nearly a month. None of this would have happened had he not received the check the first day. I'm really bummed that it went this way. I really wish I could have given a great review. I am thoroughly disappointed, and felt taken advantage of, that the job wasn't complete only because there wasn't anyone to inspect the final job. I will still need more tree work in the next few years. I'll certainly be going with a more professional outfit. These guys were working 100% safely, keeping the crew and everyone around the worksite safe at all times. They have nothing to worry about if the OSHA inspector shows up all of a sudden. Jeff came to give us an estimate and his crew has been outstanding! They show up on time and these guys are working hard, and rarely if at all took a break. The huge tree right out front had a very narrow space to fall between the house and a pergola and over our septic system and drain field. It was flawless. These guys seriously know their stuff. We are thrilled with their service and impressed with their work ethic and communication too. They not only felled the trees, they woodchipped the huge branches, raked up the mess, and used a leaf blower to clean it up. They also will be hauling some of the big trees to the mill for us. A&J Specialties, give me an estimate to remove a tall dead tree in the middle of the summer 2024. I was on scheduled for the end of Oct 2024 for this company to come to my house an remove the tree. I took vacation time off from work, they show up with only a partial crew. The said to me, couple of employees did not show up this morning and they to reschedule. So, I get rescheduled for the end of December, again on the morning they are due to arrive I get a phone call telling me "the whole crew did not show up this morning, and I will need to reschedule again." I wasted a bunch of time getting the area ready, and wasted another day of vacation time. Not nice to string someone along. Zero value!

We had set up an appointment for 8am and had a no show. We called both numbers and left messages…read morewith no response. We took days off to have work done and all went to waste because of the no show. Huge inconvenience due to also contacting neighbors and they as well losing a day because of the no show. We had additional contractors set up for work but had to cancel them due to the no show. I would not recommend this service to anyone. Hopefully victor is not dead or in jail, which would cause him not to show up or answer our calls. He eventually called at 2pm. He did not have any valid reason why he missed the appointment. We had confirmed our appointment on two separate calls. We were able to find another contractor that showed up on time and did a great job. Also the new contractor was about $300 cheaper. Victor is definitely over priced
