This company is has bad employees, or they don't want to do the work they said they would do and don't have to balls to say so. A&J Specialties, give me an estimate to remove a tall dead tree in the middle of the summer 2024. I was on scheduled for the end of Oct 2024 for this company to come to my house an remove the tree. I took vacation time off from work, they show up with only a partial crew. The said to me, couple of employees did not show up this morning and they to reschedule. So, I get rescheduled for the end of December, again on the morning they are due to arrive I get a phone call telling me "the whole crew did not show up this morning, and I will need to reschedule again." I wasted a bunch of time getting the area ready, and wasted another day of vacation time. Not nice to string someone along. Zero value! read more

I debated about whether to give this business a four or five star review. I've used them twice and I will definitely use them again. They are quick, on time, clean, reliable, and incredibly hard-working. They are also very affordable. When I have valuable trees that need the artful eye of an arborist, I call another company for those jobs, But so much of the time I just need somebody to either take a tree out, clean up some damaged limbs, or do some clearing and this is the company I call to get that done for a reasonable price. I need a strong guy with good work ethic who has a chainsaw and access to other equipment....and insurance. That is very hard to find in our area. Tons of guys with chainsaws, but if they get hurt the bill will be yours to pay. Not so with this company. I can't say enough good about A&J for helping me with the stuff I just can't do myself! read more
