Thank you Kyle, Damian, and the rest of the crew that were out here for two days this week. The property looks SO much better in many ways.

I now know why Hunter Tree Care was the lowest bidder from among the arborists I received quotes…read morefrom. We needed for our VERY large, old, California Black Oak tree to be cleaned up and all the mistletoe removed, except for the branches over the power lines. Pacific Power contracts w/ a company to do that work. Hunter Tree Service assured us that they could remove all the mistletoe at the far ends of many of the higher branches. When they said they were done, the reason they gave for not removing the mistletoe from all those high branches was that their equipment would not reach that far. Of course they had to know this at the start, but obviously they must be hard up for work. If you are considering this company because they are the low bidder, you might want to reconsider your decision!

Jeff came to give us an estimate and his crew has been outstanding! They show up on time and these guys are working hard, and rarely if at all took a break. The huge tree right out front had a very narrow space to fall between the house and a pergola and over our septic system and drain field. It was flawless. These guys seriously know their stuff. We are thrilled with their service and impressed with their work ethic and communication too. They not only felled the trees, they woodchipped the huge branches, raked up the mess, and used a leaf blower to clean it up. They also will be hauling some of the big trees to the mill for us. Worth every penny. Wow, we would gladly recommend Jeff Dean Tree Service to anyone and will be using them again in the future. Thank you, Jeff Dean & Crew! Oh, and if you want to see a one minute video of the giant tree falling, it's here: https://youtu.be/jDgeKVjYCUs

I hired Good Bloke Tree Service to trim branches from my neighbor's tree hanging over my property…read more I was quoted $500 and agreed, expecting a reasonable amount of trimming. Due to my neighbor's concerns, we agreed the work would stay at the property line--but only three or four branches were removed. After paying $500, I realized very little work had been done. I asked if the quote could be reconsidered, but they refused. To make matters worse, their lift left large ruts in both my front and back yard. They came back to "fix" the front yard, but it was poorly done, and I refused to have them fix the back yard. Debris was left behind, and their lift even broke down and sat in my yard. Paying $500 for a few branches removed and damage left behind is unacceptable. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this company to anyone.

I really wish I could have given a great review. I am thoroughly disappointed, and felt taken advantage of, that the job wasn't complete only because there wasn't anyone to inspect the final job. I will still need more tree work in the next few years. I'll certainly be going with a more professional outfit. Lack of communication and lack of Professionalism…read more Review: Poor Communication and Unprofessional Behavior - Beware of Who You Hire! We initially had a positive experience with Liberty Tree (Fritz) about four to five months ago when a tree fell through our fence. They responded quickly, removed the tree and debris, and were very accommodating. Based on that, we chose to reach out again when we noticed another tree leaning and wanted to be proactive before it caused more damage. Unfortunately, this second experience has been extremely disappointing. After reaching out nearly a month ago, it's been nothing but excuses and delays. I first contacted Fritz by phone and later followed up with a text on June 30th, which he read. I reached out again before the 4th of July, and he sent me an invoice and promised to come by Monday or Tuesday after work. When I called for an update, he claimed he actually said Tuesday or Wednesday. This back-and-forth has now dragged to the point of now it being contentious. When I called again to get a straight answer, instead of taking accountability or offering a clear timeline, Fritz berated me on the phone. I even received two unprofessional and rude text messages from him--the owner of the company--after he had already failed to show up multiple times without notice. I understand delays can happen, but communication is critical--especially when safety and property damage are involved. At this point, I'm trying to prevent having to replace another section of my fence, and the lack of responsiveness has been unacceptable. Unfortunately, based on this recent experience, I can no longer recommend Liberty Tree Enterprises. Communication and follow-through are non-negotiable in any service-based business, and both were clearly lacking here.
