She did an amazing job with my hair and makeup. She helped me with my outfit choices to make sure color and lighting were perfect. I put my trust in her and the session was amazing. The session itself was so invigorating. I'm not sure which part was better... the session and posing for these sexy pics or the pictures. The pictures are amazing. I want them all. I chose boudoir as I havent done it before and I was feeling not so great about my body recently. I am SO glad I did it! Since i dont live in Philly I booked a hotel nearby and made a weekend of it. I was the first shoot of the day so I arrived at the studio the same time as my photographer Shannon and she was so great! We got in and got settled quickly then talked through the "why" of why I chose boudoir then we went through the items i brought and some that they had to pick my outfits. I opted to have them do my makeup since i pretty much suck at it and it was much cheaper than going out to buy all the items I would need. Shannon did a great job at it and I kept "my face on" the rest of the day and got so many compliments. Then on to the actual photos. I felt so comfortable in the presence of a stranger dressing down to lingerie and this is mostly because Shannon has such a great personality. She makes you feel comfortable. The poses were fun and she demonstrated each one and answered questions as we went through. i get kinda awkward with my hands so it was nice to have someone re adjust them and make sure every piece of hair was in the right place. it really showed in the photos i received! I had given myself a limit ahead of time as to how many pictures i would purchase so that I wouldn't go crazy and it was easy to go crazy. they sent me about 90 photos both in color and black and white and I loved a lot of them. Those i didnt love wasnt anyone's fault but my own.. I didnt love the third outfit i chose for myself and I didnt work on my "sexy face" as the website suggest so i felt some looked a little awkward, kinda like me trying to hard to be sexy. Overall i have some great shots from the shoot and some awesome birthday memories! I got the digital prints (they send them in color and in black and white) so i cant wait to make canvases of them to display in my walk in closet. Now every time i go to get dressed i'll be reminded of how beautiful i am stripped down.

Editing my review to 4 stars because after reaching out to customer service, Torre, the manager,…read morewas kind enough to refund the botched alterations when she heard about my experience and even offered to pay for a whole new dress. A good end to a very frustrating situation. Unless you're just buying a dress to alter elsewhere, avoid this place at all costs! First of all, I was made to wait for an hour for my appointment to begin for my alterations. When it did finally start none of the pricing was discussed with me prior to them pinning up my dress, so I felt pressured to just agree to all the things they wanted to do to my dress and the exorbitant prices. I called back later that day to ask if we could remove the bustle from my alterations because it was around $250 of the price of my $600 of alterations they charged me for on my $450 dress. It gets even better from there, when my pick up date was coming up, the store called and wanted to reschedule my pick up for over a month later than my scheduled appointment. Then, the week of that appointment they wanted to push it back AGAIN. When I finally came to pick up the dress, I couldn't even put it on because the inner layers of the front and back were sewn together when a button was put in the skirt. Speaking of which, I never asked for buttons to be put in, so I'm not sure why there's a whole row of buttons now sewn into my dress?? On top of that, when they changed the fabric for my straps, they messed one up and now it folds and sits wrong because they just sewed fabric on top of the existing straps. The cap sleeves I asked them to add also came out terribly. They're uneven and awful and they charged me $69 for them!!! The cherry on top is that when they took in the sides of my dress, it messed up the fabric on the back so now it creates horrible creasing that it never had before. Absolutely disgusted with the quality of the work received for the $350 of alterations I ended up paying for. I will be taking the dress elsewhere to get it fixed the right way, if I even can now that my wedding is in less than a month. Thanks a lot.
