I have to be honest, I have had the absolute worst experience with Bobs. Yes, the furniture is priced great, but then you get to the white glove service. $70! That is insane and then another $150 for furniture removal? C'mon. In every other industry "white glove" means removal of whatever is there anyway, not an upsell extra charge. well not according to Bobs customer service who would hide behind the line of "that is not our policy." Not only that but white glove says trash removal which any normal person would assume that means the trash that you currently have there because it is meant for the trash, especially when furniture removal is HIDDEN at the bottom of the page when buying online. So exactly this happened to me. Day of delivery they said no I didn't pay for furniture removal, and im like what do you mean, I paid for WHITE GLOVE. So they call their support team and they said yes it's another charge. I said ok can I pay that now (not knowing the price b/c I just wanted it done with). Nope, so they pushed it out 6 days. Then when I called customer service to bring up this issue they again hid behind the tag line of "this is our policy" and I said well maybe you should make the furniture removal portion more visible or clarify in white glove it is NOT included. They did acknowledge I was not the only person to bring this up. Which means it happens more often than not. Then I asked if I could change it to pickup in which they told me I would need to pay a restocking charge... EXCUSE ME? They were more than happy to take my money when I bought it but would not budge and work with me in the slightest always saying well this is their policy. Apparently their policies do nothing for the customer and they do not care to actually assist. I will NEVER shop here again due to how little assistance they provided. I am willing to pay extra to get better customer service and work with a company that truly cares. you get what you pay for. All that being said, if you get furniture removal, white glove, and the product, you end up paying the same if not more than their competitors so is it really that great of a deal if they don't actually help you? OH I almost forgot. They claimed it was their policy to not give delivery windows of 3 hours until 24 hours before the deliver. Well we have jobs? We cant block off a whole day? What if a meeting overlaps that you're thrown into over 24 hours before? And I know this is a fake policy because the initial day I ordered it they gave me a three hour window same day. The service team is terrible. I dealt with "Lexi" the resolution specialist. She was awful and didn't resolve anything. My couch was supposed to come on a Monday and then all of the sudden I get an email that the delivery was Friday. I called and spoke with "Nancy" who told me the couch was on backorder. I purchased Matinee Coffee Table set from Bob's 674 Baltimore Pike Springfield, PA 19064 United States. Scheduled pick up May-1-2022. Reached store to pick up. The store associate brought one box and helped me load it in my car. Assuming I got everything I drove back home. After opening the box I realized had received half delivery. Only the wooden base and hardware. The box came with broken wooden base arm to start with. The glass tops were still in the store. It was not brought to my car. Called the store with issue. I have been dealing with Bob's furniture store in Springfield PA since mid July. I had a delivery in August and the furniture was broken. They were to replace it early September and that furniture was broken along with the wrong mattress. Finally when the delivery was mid September it was finally right. My son was redoing my floors and put outlets in the floor getting ready for the holidays so we got rid of our old furniture. I then got a text telling me the delivery day would be December 27?? Their own salesman told us that they had to discontinue selling because the manufacturer material was bad and advised us to put in a claim to replace since it was under damage warranty. We purchased their "Goof Proof" policy to ensure if we had issues we could get it addressed. To make a long story short, they failed to live up to their warranty policy they buttered us up to purchase. They refused to exchange both couches and only offered to exchange one. Both couches had the same damage and deteriorating material. Why would I agree to replace one couch when I purchased as a set and they have the same damage. They do not know how to handle there inventory levels and the manufacturer that makes their products must not know what they are doing because my bed has been delayed twice and when i call in all that I get is there is nothing we can do. I've had several great experiences with this store and usually always sooooo happy! This time around has been such a mess. I understand Covid times have caused chaos, and I've been quite patient with my furniture process. Everything going on in my circumstance is also not all pointed at the just store, but the company and the handling team as a whole. I bought a Reclining Sofa and matching Chair, and the Bonded Leather is peeling away and looks so ugly. It was not cheap. I did purchase the insurance. The chair also makes some knocking sounds when opening and closing. I walked into the store with the idea to get information about my insurance plan, and, to buy a dining room set... again, I like buying from this store. My sales lady was also amazing and very nice to work with! I was educated and told that yes I am covered, and unfortunately the sofa set I have is no longer available so therefore I should get a full credit towards a new set. So we looked around and found what I wanted, but had to come back to bring my husband to make sure he likes the pieces too. I also needed to make the insurance claim that day so it would be processed quickly. Came back, we both love the Dining Room and the Sofa and Love Seat, and did the credit app and was approved and moved forward. I was advised that the entire process is simple. We put in the order for the Dining Room, Sofa, and Love Seat, this way I wouldn't have to pay for a delivery as it will all come together since I had the insurance claim and delivery is included. Not long after putting in my insurance claim in & it was denied. I called the store and never got a hold of anyone after waiting for 45 minutes. I went to the store to let them know my coverage was denied and then was directed to contact customer care. The number set me up to have someone come by and take photos. That was done November 19th. My claim has still not been processed nearly 20 days later. I did wait a very long time to speak with a lady from customer care and she did give me another time frame of 2 weeks to find out about my claim, and also stated that I will be paying for delivery on the sofa/loveseat as well. Meanwhile my Dining Room table was loaded and stayed on schedule for delivery December 8th (tomorrow) but now I am paying for the delivery, even after I was told and planned not to pay for any delivery. I got a call yesterday saying that the delivery was still the plan, however, a part of my table didn't make the truck so a second delivery will be made. I was okay with this and then asked which part happened to not make the truck a chair or the bench? Then found out the entire base of the table itself did not make the truck! This is very frustrating. Meanwhile, Saturday evening right after work I got in my dining room and cleared it out and already made arrangements in place for the new set, and I only have Sunday and Tuesdays off. I wanted to get it all done so I can spend time with my Husband on Sunday. (He is handicap, had a stroke, and is stuck in the house so I try to cheer him up on my only days off) So I asked the kind lady on the phone if there are other options. Like can we please take the base off the show room piece to make it on Tuesday and that was not allowed. Then looking into ways to have the set delivered all at once. The new delivery day is not on my day off and now I have to lose money calling in sick to be there for that. The other option was to have the delivery still and just set the table top on its side... that is not a good idea in my house as I'm afraid of my dogs knocking that big piece over and getting hurt. I also broke my back a year ago and cannot lift it if it did fall. I also don't have a real safe place to put it. I get it it's "only" a few days on paper without a place to properly eat and after what I have experienced so far I can only imagine what else will go wrong. In early January 2024, I visited the Bob's location in Erie, PA, and was assisted by Salesperson Tony. I ordered a couch and a bed frame, base, and mattress. I was told that the mattress protective cover, pillow covers, pillows themselves, would be "thrown-in," Sales person's words, not mine. I financed through Wells Fargo, the store's go-to bank for loans. It wasn't until I received my first statement that I found out that Bob's definition of "thrown-in" means, "We're gonna charge you for this, but we'll be sly about it." Regardless, the order was placed and I was given a delivery date. The delivery date was accurate and on-time; the delivery people are top-knotch and absolute professionals. However, when my order arrived, the items were not accurate to what I ordered. My salesperson ordered (and also charged me for) the entire living room set. I refused everything but the couch. The delivery people were totally understanding and called the Customer Support number for me on one of their cell phones, allowed me to speak to a rep, and I was informed that the set would be taken off of my bill and I would just be charged for the couch, which proved to be true. After the delivery people left, I inspected the bed that was delivered, only to find that the base that I had requested be ordered by Tony (the "Power Ultra Adjustable Base--Queen Size") was not delivered. Rather, he had ordered and had me shipped a un-adjustable, completely satatic and solid base. When I realized this, I called the one-of-many Customer Support phone numbers that Bob's has, only to receive a standard, pre-recorded message every single time. It was at this point that I discovered that you cannot call a specific store directly, nor can you ask for a specific individual by name. Every single phone number listed on any search engine for Bob's will lead you to the same pre-recorded message, and when you finally reach a living, breathing person, they will not reveal where they are from or what Bob's store they are located at. You will not get any other info about them other than their first name. (maybe an undisclosed call center? Who knows?). I had requested PTO time from work to be at home to accpet the delivery. After this excersize-in-futiltiy, I decided that it would be a better idea to just go back to the store to straighten things out and let Tony and the Manager (Rich) know what had happened. I did just that, and Tony and Rich seemed happy to help. I had asked Rich for a disount (I was expecting 5% at-most) due to his employee, Tony, getting my order wrong, but he told me, "We can't do that at stroe-level. You'll have to call our Customer Support number." OK, no worries, I'll let it go. After all was said-and-done (I thought), they both assured me that my correct base would arrive "On Wednesday." It should be noted that this occurred on a Friday morning. I guess I wasn't specific enough or they weren't quite accurate enough. When they said " next Wednesday," they weren't talking about the next upcoming Wednesday, but the one thereafter. Slight problem with that: I had to be 4 hours away, across the state that day for work. No problem, they assured me. Someone at least 18 years old had to be present to sign for the delivery. Perfectly reasonable, and I found someone aged appropriately to be there that day at the allotted delivery time. Again, the I received a delivery notification about 45 minutes ahead of time, and informed the authorize that they would be arriving soon, and the delivery went flawlessly, according to everyone who was physically present for it. When I arrived home that evening to inspect what had been delivered, I noticed two things: The delivery people had done an excellent job in taking the (incorrectly ordered) base and replacing it with the new base, and, the new base that was supposed to be the correct one (assured to me by Sales Person Tony and Manager Rich) was incorrectly ordered and I was shipped the wrong item. AGAIN. At that point, I Googled every single phone number that I could find for "Bob's Furniture Erie PA" and was again led to the same pre-recorded message every single time. I finally held on long enough and pressed the right buttons to be connected to a human being. When I explained my situation, she put me on hold for 20 minutes, explaining to me that I had to be transferred to "someone who could adress my alleged problem." Conveniently enough, after the 20-minute hold time, the call "dropped." I gave it 10 minutes, called back again, was transferred to 3 different representatives in the span of 45 minutes, and finally (!!!) reached one who knew what he was doing/talking about. After I explained the entire ordeal to him, I asked him if I could receive some sort of discount for this. He put me on hold, and came back about 5 minutes later. Over a year ago we purchased a sofa from Bob's in Springfield, PA. The delivery team destroyed the original woodwork surrounding the doorframe of the family room. The woodwork has never been painted in our 120 year old home. I have called, emailed and showed up to the showroom multiple times in the last year. I have gained many false promises telling me someone would call or show up to fix the woodwork. No one has done any of the promised work along with no offer of even a refunded delivery fee. The delivery men left the sofa in my foyer and basically told me good luck. Not once did I receive an apology or a phone call. A whole door frame of a 120 year old house destroyed. My wife has searched for a stand for our 65" HDTV for more than a year. She finally found a piece she really liked at Bob's; a LACY 4DR/4DWR Console In Chadwick White ($624.33,delivered). The first one delivered was damaged (it looked like someone had tried to repair damage on one of the rear corners. They left that piece while we waited another week for a replacement piece. The replacement was also damaged. My wife spoke with customer service about her frustration. We were willing to keep the first piece if Bob's offered a reasonable discount; they offered $149.70. That was almost enough to cover delivery and taxes; we declined. We were then told that that they would make a "special" delivery which would involve examining the piece before placing it on the truck for delivery. Because of the special attention, delivery would take 2 weeks instead of the usual 1 week. We would rather wait than get another damaged piece. The delivery was very annoying; using Bob's delivery tracker, we saw we were stop #4, but they were at stop #5. When I saw them at stop #8, I called to find out why we were skipped. It was very frustrating time trying to get someone on the phone, then we were told the driver's could deliver in whatever order they felt was better (so the tracker can be useless. Te piece arrives and at first glance, it looked okay. Then my wife started to wipe it down, as it was very dusty. Only then did the damage become obvious. There were at least 6 or 7 issues. We called and told Bob's we wanted to come back, get this piece, and refund our money. They wanted to send someone else to fix the piece or have us come in and pick a different piece. I told her, we don't want another delivery, another piece, or wait until Feb 29th (the earliest they could send a repair technician) to have someone come fix it. On September 28, 2020 a Mahogany Bedroom set delivered to my home. On February 22, 2021while cleaning my home I noticed the dresser splitting and breaking apart on both sides. I called Bob's Furniture and the set up date for tech support or driver to come to my home. On February 25 the tech support/driver arrived disrespectful and rude. He took a pic of only one side(left) side and I was persistent in making him look at right side too. He stated I have no time asked me for my personal phone instead of using his phone for business purposes. He placed a call to assessment dept on my phone once they picked up and answered. He spoke some words in Spanish I didn't understand to whoever was on the phone. He placed my phone on the bed and walked away while telling me someone is on the phone. It was absolutely unprofessional, disrespectful and very poor customer service. Along with speaking spanish and poor communication skills.  While I was on the phone the assessment person asked for tech guy he never stuck around left 2 minutes later. In addition, the assessment person male Hispanic couldnt explain or communicate affectively help to understand anything. He kept cutting me off and stopping me. He continued to become more confusing as the conversation continues. I asked him about the (1) return policy and constantly stating the furniture is brand new and a few months old. We had a great experience with order and delivery at Bob's with Lisa Roffo, our salesperson. She greeted us when we walked in but wasn't too pushy, something that my partner and I were worried about walking in. She was there for all the questions we had and checked on us once or twice to give us information about the pieces we liked, but she didn't pressure or overwhelm us. We were really pleasantly surprised with the couches that we liked in our price range and when we decided to buy that day, Lisa went over all of our options with us and got us set and ordered quickly and efficiently. The process in store was completely painless. As for delivery, we wanted to make sure that the delivery time we were given overlapped with our reservation of our freight elevator, on our moving day, which was already stressful. We were supposed to get a call two days before informing us of the four hour window, which never came, but I called customer service and they gave it to me no problem. The morning of, I checked delivery time estimate and it was totally outside of the four hour window, which was funny, but as it updated over the next few hours it was delivered closer to within the window, which ended up fine because we were present. The delivery folks were great, quick, unobtrusive. Overall, five stars for Lisa Roffo, five stars for the delivery people, and four for the system that estimates delivery times. According to Bob's customer service and the Guardian, that is a subjective term but you find this out AFTER you purchase the program and get the contract emailed to you. At that point and $99 later lost, when you have an accidental stain the Goof Proof cleaner won't remove, you are out of luck because there is a laundry list of things that are not covered. I am thoroughly disappointed in being sold a program that is wasting my money. Guardian needs to correct their brochure and Bob's sales needs to review this more thoroughly. read more

I did not even buy anything. My neighbor did, we share a driveway. Delivery crew pulled into the driveway and unloaded contents of truck in driveway, leaning boxes against my house. One of the boxes fell, ripping the water meter off the side of the house. They watched it happen, never said a word. The only reason I know how it happened was because I got perfect footage of it on my surveillance cameras. Not only infuriates me that they will knowingly damage my property, but they act like they didn't do it. Now, I have to jump through hoops and call centers to force them to pay for the repairs. my family ordered a kitchen set from this place and it took 5 months for them to say it was available. we cancelled the order with a woman named Lisa D. who was also VERY rude, because we got a table set from somewhere else and the order was still put through and a delivery date was still sent through. we only found out it was being delivered the day before the delivery date so we had to go through a SECOND longer cancellation process. not only did we go into the store to talk to Lisa D., she turned her back on us and refused to help when we were trying to find out the delivery date originally. read more
