My overall experience was good. Started out with Lyn and everything about him was great. The delivery ppl were running late but they did call twice to keep me updated. I had to leave out for work because they had still not arrived at the time specified. My teenage son was present and unaware of the delivery and the removal of my old bed. They left my bed in the living room hallway. I called the store 5 min after the delivery ppl had left and Andre told me the the delivery guys would not come back out and I needed to figure it out myself. So highly upset I wanted to cancel everything and they could pick they mattress back up, he went back and fourth about the cancellation policy and once again told me to figure it out. I called another mattress factory and got another managers number I believe it was Andrew(not sure) he was very nice and apologized for the inconvenience and rescheduled the delivery guys to come back out another day. Two days pass the original day. So I myself dragged my old bed down my steps and to my porch and carried the new mattress upstairs and set it up. The delivery guys arrived and took the old mattress off the porch the following day. I'm rewriting this review as I hate leaving bad reviews and the bed was comfortable at first (so I was going to let it go) but it's now been over two months and the mattress is uncomfortable. I paid for the mattress in full over $1800, So I will be contacting the store to exchange as my warranty states I have 120 day I will update my review after. Negative stars is really because of Andre really bad attitude over the phone and didn't even try to resolved the issue by rescheduling, he was no help at all!! read more

A little over 8 years ago, I bought a queen size bed from this place for $500. It was delivered within a few days I slept peacefully for the last 7 and a half years. Now my bed is lumpy, the springs are shot and I wake up every morning with awful lower back pain. I visited the Mattress Factory to take advantage of their Labor Day sales. I worked with Ara and after rolling around on a few beds, I found a Laura Ashley Vera Firm bed that I fell in love with. $1405 total - I was approved for $1000 and paid $405 upfront. When the bed is delivered, I'll owe the drivers $49. It wasn't until I signed on the dotted line and was driving home that I was told I could have haggled with Ara. We are overall very pleased with our purchase from mattress factory from the moment we walked in to the men delivering our mattress.The sales men who worked with us were very knowledgable and honest. I liked how they let us reflect on are decision without any pressure. I dont like when a salesman try's to push a purchase which is what happened while we shopped around but not the mattress factory. The salesman were understanding and approachable when we sought more information. With all the excitement of getting a new bed, it only made sense to buy some good quality pillows. I'd highly recommend the Mattress Factory to anyone in the area who is in search of a new mattress. I was pretty impressed with the in store service I received from Eddie. He was friendly and listened to my needs. He matched me with an awesome mattress. The reason for four out of five stars was the delivery. The delivery times were reasonable, the truck arrived within an hour of the scheduled window. The gentlemen were friendly and timely however the mattress and box spring came in plastic, instead of going to extra mile and throwing the plastic away for me it was dumped in the middle of my floor. Long time customer but NO MORE ! Beware of what you're buying from here. Do your research before you buy ! After dealing with Mattress Factory for many years and referring a lot of family and friends My wife and I purchased a Simmons mattress set here a couple years ago and had to have it returned under warranty because of the sagging and bulging sides after a year. Very disappointed as the sales person told us how wonderful of a mattress and how popular it was and came highly recommended. Read reviews on it after the fact and it was rated horribly. After doing a warranty exchange and proceeding back to the store to pick out a new mattress we added $600 to our $800 credit and bought the Mattress Factories own Therapedic matress which was tufted to ensure no shifting or bulging as the salesman informed us and guaranteed it was excellent stating after his accident and injuring his back he had the identical bed and swore by it. Well, after a year with this one it's sagged and you can't roll to the middle because of the hump in the middle of the bed. It's supposed to be 15 year warranty on this one. If you lay in the middle and turn left or right you roll down hill to the edge. It's horrible. We turn this bed every other month use a mattress cover and we're both only 125 and 175 lbs. absolute junk. Toss and turn all night long. If you call to speak with anyone they don't want to be bothered and sometimes get extremely condescending. It's a shame it's the fast sale once and done deal here. Didn't used to be this way. They are not about customer service, if you have an issue they will just brush you off and make it your fault. I should have read the BBB reviews a long time ago. read more

Awesome experience here. I visited Sleepy's first, then went to Mattress Factory. Eddie and Ken were very helpful, and educated me on the many differences in mattresses. I spent a good hour and a half there, narrowing it down to 3 mattresses, and finally made my selection. Eddie knows how to work with you to give you a good deal, and throws in the extras with no problem. They don't work on commission either, which is nice. A few weeks after posting my review, I received a Yelp message from the manager at The Mattress Factory offering to help me because of my mattress situation. I was super impressed by the customer service, and even more excited at the prospect of waking up without a sore back. 3 phone calls, 2 Yelp message responses, and 1 month later, I have not heard a word from Andres. What a joke. Obviously he really wasn't dedicated to helping me. Avoid this place like the plague - plenty of other places with better customer service. Salesman was lovely, said business is family owned, salesman don't operate on commission. Great selection, very reasonable prices. Will be going back when need another mattress. read more

Had a wonderful experience here. Dennis took care of us. Listened to what we were looking for.. Pointed us in the right direction and then gave us space to look without hovering or pressuring us. They do not work on commission here so there's no need to worry about the typical sales pressure that comes with that. When we decided to purchase a set we checked online to be sure we were getting the best price and it was taken care of in 5 minutes. The service was great in the store. The problem came at delivery. I purchased a twin mattress set. The delivery guy dragged my mattress from the truck to my door. Grant it is was in plastic, but it was my brand new merchandise and it should have been handled as such. I called the store to let them know the behavior of the delivery personnel, and he condoned it. Stating the plastic is there to protect the mattress for that reason. UNBELIEVABLE! I can carry a twin mattress and the delivery person should be able to also and to treat customer merchandise with respect and care. I will not buy from there again. read more

The Mattress Factory in Springfield Pa. is an Outstanding facility! We've bought one mattress back in July, when our youngest daughter's bed was starting to deteriorate badly. We had gone to another place first, and were harassed from the moment we walked in, followed around like a bunch of thieves, and then insulted by derogatory statements . I immediately walked out of that store, and went to The Mattress Factory. The first impression I received from this store before I walked in, was the professional look of the store from the outside. The front window displays, and the display of all the choices, were amazing! When we walked in for the first time, I immediately felt a warm and friendly atmosphere. There wasn't any pressure, and we were greeted by pleasant smiles, no worries! I was asked what our budget was, and gladly shown a few selections. Andre, and all the salesmen, were very professional with their knowledge of each mattress. I was told where each mattress was manufactured, and the quality that went into it! I and my husband willingly bought four more mattress sets just one week ago! The pricing was excellent, and fair. Our delivery men really worked hard to get our King mattress up our L-shaped stairs, that was a difficult task, but they didn't give up on us! I am very pleased with our purchase, and hope that I can persuade anyone looking to purchase a new mattress, to go to the Mattress Factory first. You won't be disappointed at all! Thumbs Up!!!
