If I could give negative Stars I would. Went into the store to buy a bra it was the longest 40 minutes of my life. Almost. I was very put off by the sales help who really did not have a clue about sizing, about my sizing, and just seem to talk a lot of gibberish about her own bra experience. After trying on no word of a lie 15 bras I finally just settled for something because I was so overwhelmed by the experience. I don't want this bra that I purchased but unfortunately their return policy is no bras returned due to sanitary reasons. That in itself seems a bit off but anyway, I will never shop the store again. I will never purchase a gift card for my daughter or daughter-in-law again after this experience Let me add I tried to buy boots as well. I expressed explicitly to the same sales person that my calves were 19 in. She assured me that a size 9 was 19.4 I believe she said and we should be okay good to go. So she goes in the back of the store brings out the size 9 boots that I was looking at I try it on and it's about 4 inches shy in my calf. She jumps on the register and looks something up and then proceeded to give me gibberish about boots that made no sense ;she had read the chart wrong it was 16 plus a 2 inch extension ,more nonsense talk, anyway needless to say my bra and my boot experience were lacking at this store. torrid is pricey ,strike one ,and the sales help need to get some clarity and limit their rambling ,number two and thirdly this torrid is way too crowded with merchandise. read more

I stopped in today to try to buy my sister a birthday present. For those of you who don't know, Torrid is like the plus size Charlotte Russe; they carry fashionable clothes and intimates from a 1x-3(or 4)x. I managed to find two shirts in the clearance section that seemed to fit her style; Katie, the sales associate, was super helpful in trying to assist me in finding a gift. read more

This Torrid is a huge location and seems to have a lot of cute products. There was no one at the register or even visible in the store when I walked in. I saw a woman who looked like a manager all the way towards the back, I waved to her, and she said someone would be right out. The manager complimented me on my sandals. Then the cashier came out and was super nice and helped me with my return that I purchased online. She also complimented me on my necklace. I think the cashier gave just a tad bit of attitude cuz I was returning the product and looking for a refund, not returning for something else, but other than that, it was fine! read more

This is the better of the Torrid store locations. The employees are awesome and give honest opinions if you're trying things on lol. Last time my boyfriend and I stopped in for a wedding we had to attend and I couldn't pick between the 2 that I loved, my boyfriend loved EVERYTHING of course (even stuff that looked terrible) and the sales girl was super helpful. Love this location and the ladies that work here. They help without pestering too lol. I'd probably die (or at least look ridiculous) without this store. read more

I go here entirely too often and spend entirely too much money here. The girls are always very helpful. I just wish they'd hang around the fitting rooms a little more so that I don't have to get dressed again to pick up new sizes. Torrid clothing seems to just slap sizes on their clothing. I usually wear a 2 but sometimes have to size all the way down to a zero! They get stock in constantly and even have some apparel that is stated as 'online only' which really makes it great for trying on some great plus size fashion. read more

Been here a few times and the employees are usually helpful except for yesterday when they stood around talking in front of the register not helping anyone out and the store was busy. The only time I saw them move was to ring people up and went back to talking. The clothing styles are hot or miss these days. They used to have the coolest styles, but lately it seems all they have is big mama choo choo styles that maybe older country bumpkins would wear. Definitely don't see the "couture" anymore. Trendy in a not so sexy way. Prices are ridiculously high at this point for these styles, but they do have nice clearances. read more

I had an excellent first time experience at Torrid thanks to Sarah. She asked if I needed help with the sizing and I said yes. She then asked my measurements and told me what size to try on which was a perfect fit. When I couldn't find a matching swim set she offered to look through every swim suit to help me find a match in my size. Unfortunately, there was nothing in the store. She offered to look online so I could benefit from the sale. She ordered me a bottom, while I bought the top in store. She chatted with me during check out and wished me well on my upcoming move next week. Working in customer service myself, I think it's very important to recognize a great employee and Sarah was nothing but kind, helpful, and went above and beyond expectations. Thank you! read more

Since there are none of these stores near me I decided to hop in the car this morning and drive about an hour to this mall. I ALWAYS struggle with finding pants/jeans that fit me. Too small in one area, too baggy in another...today I got extremely lucky and had the help of a lovely sales associate, Elyse. Without her help, I would've been overwhelmed and frustrated trying to figure out what types of jeans would fit me the best. She was very knowledgeable on all of the jeans that they carry and how they fit, and if they stretch out after wearing them too long. I don't even think I've ever encountered such good customer service anywhere in a long time. It was an extra bonus that the day I decided to venture out to Neshaminy Mall they were having a buy one, get one half off on the jeans. Instead of leaving clothing stores feeling depressed and discouraged, I had an amazing experience and would tell any young, "plus size" girls to come to this store. For some reason, most stores that are labeled "plus size" are not young people friendly! read more

I went the torrid in Bensalem, PA yesterday evening after work. I was only there to pick up a few items but ended up trying on and buying quite a few really great things. I was in the store for about an hour and a half, and in that whole time, not one associate or manager asked me if I needed help with anything or if they could start a dressing room for me while I was walking around with my arms full of cloths. I had to ask someone to open the dressing room, I needed different sizes in a few things and had to get dressed and go get them myself because no one came to see if I needed anything, even though the dressing room attendant was actively helping the other two ladies trying on cloths. Literally not one employee said one word to me unless I cornered them and asked them for something. Then when I was checking out the manager (I'm assuming she was the manager) was extremely rude to me in front of other guests. I'm contemplating returning my items because I certainly don't want any of these people getting commission from my purchase. read more
