What we envisioned and what we ended up with was literally a million-fold better - and that is not an exaggeration. Mike spoke with each of us separately prior to the shoot and then we set a time and date for the shoot. Mike suggested the Philadelphia Art Museum during the 'golden hour' at the end of the day. I cannot even begin to tell you what a fantastic time we had with Mike and the actual shoot was an amazing experience full of fun and laughter. The photos were taken all around the Art Museum and Schuylkill River area and while it was a busy crowded day; Mike managed to frame the shots so it looked as if we were the only one there. Many have asked if we cleared the area for our photoshoot because of Mike's skillful photography. The resulting images were also amazing and instead of one framed photo, we ended up with a beautiful 6 foot collage of photos printed on metal that is now a prominent art installation in our home. We also ended up choosing fifty (50) - yes, FIFTY - of the images Mike shot that day for our collection. Mike absolutely did a fantastic job and created amazing works of art out of two ordinary people who have been together for twenty years. Everyone who sees the photos and knows us always says that the photos are "absolutely you guys". I should mention that we are a gay male couple and Mike was very comfortable with us as we were with him; he is very easy to work with and truly one of the most laid back photographers I have known - and I have known many. I would wholeheartedly recommend Mike Allebach to any straight, gay, trans-gendered or any other flavor of person for any photos they may want from boudoir to personal to professional. He is truly an amazing and gifted artist/photographer.

Anyway, if you're looking for a boudoir photographer in Montco PA area, Mike Allebach is your guy. Made my man and I super comfy during the entire photo shoot. He was cool enough to play Rihanna's essential playlist per my request. I was definitely vibin' to my girl RiRi playing in the background while me and my man just kind of got into each other and Mike allowed (and helped guide) us to make some magic happen in front of the camera lens. If you're looking to do a boudoir shoot by yourself or with your guy, gal, or polynamorous mates... DO IT! I loved every second of the shoot and the final photo album. Def had me feelin' myself haha! Can't thank Mike enough for a great and unforgettable experience! His IG: @couplesboudoirguy

I followed Cheyenne on social media for months and was constantly in awe of the photos she posted…read moreof these girls that were clearly total badass babes. While I dreamed of shooting with her, I was living in Colorado and her studio is in Philly so there was an easy excuse to not do it. Then the universe reminded me that there are some things that are just meant to happen and the next thing I knew, I had a session set up with her while I was attending a yoga retreat in New Orleans. I was lucky enough to get to spend a day chilling with her off and on before it actually came time to lose the clothes and get down to picture time, but honestly, I was comfortable within minutes and would have be ready to glue on my false lashes and get right to shooting. I had a most magical time romping around the house we were staying in, dancing to a soundtrack of guilty pleasures pop music and Cheyenne's enthusiastic hollers reminding me how babely I was looking from her side of the camera. When I received my gallery I was STUNNED. I looked freaking incredible, even the photos of poses that are not considered typically "flattering" (which is BS by the way, but if you follow her, you know that) and I was genuinely struggling to choose my selection of images because I loved them all. I let my husband make some selections, ordered some prints because everyone knows you must decorate your home with hot photos of your own booty, and went along with my life. Then a most unfortunate thing happened. A few girls I know that have also shot with Cheyenne shared their photos with me and I was immediately jealous. There were some beautiful poses I didn't do! There were so many outfit options I hadn't considered! It occurred to me - I needed to have another session and I needed it NOW. Luckily a work trip had me going to Philly just a few short months later and as timing would have it, she had a slot she could squeeze me in. If my session in NOLA was good, shooting with Cheyenne in her space in Philly was AMAZING. It was apparent that this was her creative home and she was totally in her element. It was an "I'm a model for a day" experience, complete with hair and makeup. She helped me narrow my selection of outfits from the ridiculous number of things I'd brought and let me dance around and be crazy, but also coached me through some poses that were some of my favorites when looking at my gallery. You might be thinking "do I actually NEED to do a boudoir shoot?" Eh, maybe not, but do it anyways. We're all at different places on the journey of loving and celebrating the body you're in but seeing yourself through her lens definitely helps the process along.

When I first set off upon the long quest that is wedding planning I knew that picking a…read morephotographer would be one of our most important decisions; after all, you're spending a small fortune, gathering all your favorite people together, and you better have something tangible to look back on once the details have faded from memory. Having the opportunity to laugh hysterically at so many cheesy engagement and wedding photos on Facebook during the preceding years I was determined that under no circumstances would I ever hire someone who would pose us in a wheat field and have us staring into each others eyes... or something like that... Along comes Ian, we were struck by the fun, exuberance, tenderness, and straight up real moments and feelings that we saw captured through his lens. We met over coffee at Ultimo, got to know each other a little, and hit it off really quick. He is, in a nutshell, a charming, laid back dude with great taste that works really damn hard- what more could you want? He sent a contract which we signed and returned promptly. (Also of note is that he is part of a wedding services collective worth checking out called "Rabbit Rabbit Crew" which is a curated group of small businesses for every aspect of your perfectly styled wedding) On our big day, Ian showed up right on time to the loft where my girls and I were getting ready as per a timeline/shot list that he had us send to him before the day so that everything would run smoothly. He was completely at ease moving around the space, shooting stealthily and casually chatting, but not at all being intrusive. As we moved on to the church and then the reception site he was right there capturing everything and even stopped off with us at a coffeeshop to shoot some awesome photos of us two in our natural habitat. The photos we got back were so lovely and perfectly captured the spirit of the day- I really couldn't have higher praise for his work. For the most part the pictures were documentary in style with just enough posed shots and each and every picture was thoughtful. Thanks so much Ian for being such an integral part of a very special day. I couldn't recommend this guy enough! Want proof? Check our pics out at: http://www.vivalovephoto.com/cassie-and-drew/

Not only is Ian a master at his art, but he is passionate about his art. An ex. that highlights his passion follows. The morning of our wedding Ian drove around an area he was unfamiliar with to search for a first-look location for us. He could have easily done the first look in our hotel, however he took it upon himself to find a beautiful place instead since we hadn't a spot in mind when he asked. Seeing Ian go above and beyond for us set the stage for his professional services throughout the rest of the day. We would have never thought of that, but leave it to Ian and he will come up with amazingly creative ideas in the moment. Ian genuinely cares about you and your guests. He took time to meet before the wedding to discuss the timeline for the day. He accommodated all requests. When you contact Ian he responds promptly. We have been to a lot of weddings and have been photographed as part of wedding parties. Ian is the best and most fun photographer we both have worked with yet. His assistant DJ did an excellent job capturing the guys bridal party and their personalities. Fun experiences with good hearted people makes for amazing photos. Ian and DJ were so kind and perceptive. Hire them - they care about what they are doing! We have received many compliments. For ex. a friend's comment regarding one of Ian's photographs of the girls bridal party was, "This looks right out of a bridal magazine. Beautiful!" We look forward to our photo album Ian will make.
