Editing my review to 4 stars because after reaching out to customer service, Torre, the manager, was kind enough to refund the botched alterations when she heard about my experience and even offered to pay for a whole new dress. A good end to a very frustrating situation. Unless you're just buying a dress to alter elsewhere, avoid this place at all costs! First of all, I was made to wait for an hour for my appointment to begin for my alterations. When it did finally start none of the pricing was discussed with me prior to them pinning up my dress, so I felt pressured to just agree to all the things they wanted to do to my dress and the exorbitant prices. I called back later that day to ask if we could remove the bustle from my alterations because it was around $250 of the price of my $600 of alterations they charged me for on my $450 dress. It gets even better from there, when my pick up date was coming up, the store called and wanted to reschedule my pick up for over a month later than my scheduled appointment. Then, the week of that appointment they wanted to push it back AGAIN. When I finally came to pick up the dress, I couldn't even put it on because the inner layers of the front and back were sewn together when a button was put in the skirt. Speaking of which, I never asked for buttons to be put in, so I'm not sure why there's a whole row of buttons now sewn into my dress?? On top of that, when they changed the fabric for my straps, they messed one up and now it folds and sits wrong because they just sewed fabric on top of the existing straps. The cap sleeves I asked them to add also came out terribly. They're uneven and awful and they charged me $69 for them!!! The cherry on top is that when they took in the sides of my dress, it messed up the fabric on the back so now it creates horrible creasing that it never had before. Absolutely disgusted with the quality of the work received for the $350 of alterations I ended up paying for. I will be taking the dress elsewhere to get it fixed the right way, if I even can now that my wedding is in less than a month. Thanks a lot. read more

I came here to find my wedding dress and to help my bridesmaids with their dresses. I found my wedding dress with no issues and I was very satisfied with it. I took my maid of honor (my sister) and my three cousins who were my bridesmaids to this same store to find their dresses. Two of my cousins found their dresses easily, but my sister and my other cousin could not. The woman who was working with us gave some misleading information about some of the dresses, and by the time we got to check out, there was an error and we had to start the process again. It's a good choice of dresses though if you're not looking to spend too much. read more

Wow, thoroughly loved my experience at this location! I walked in as a first time wedding-dress-shopper, with no intent of actually purchasing a dress. I wanted to try things on and explore the different fabrics to see how they looked on my figure. You are required to make an appointment if you want to try dresses on. Can't and browse like a normal clothing store. YOU NEED TO REQUEST Toni if you make book an appointment! She has been working there for 17 years and she loves her job. You can definitely feel her genuine heart for her clients, not trying to upsell you in any shape or form! She is honest with you and will give you her opinion if you welcome it! I really appreciated her being so helpful and proactive, really sticking to my budget too! The rest of the staff was very friendly as well, making this experience feel very intimate and homey. I ended up buying a dress, under my budget, that Toni actually picked out! I thought I was set on a specific style/silhouette/neckline, but I was pleasantly surprised! David's Bridal has this negative image, but I would encourage you to try it out. read more

I bought my wedding dress from David's Bridal at the end of April, and I had it fitted for alterations and paid for them in full on May 11th. I was supposed to pick it up this Thursday, 6/23, but they called me today at 6 pm to tell me that they need me to go there (nearly an hour away in Springfield) to do ANOTHER fitting. When I asked why, I was told the seamstress who did my fitting had left David's Bridal. There was no apology or anything at all! As if that wasn't bad enough, they told me that I cannot come in until Monday, 6/27 for a new fitting, 5 days after my dress was supposed to be done! The icing on the cake was they couldn't even guarantee when the alterations would be finished! I have a $30,000 wedding in 3 weeks, and they don't even know when they'll finish my dress? I feel that this is incredibly unprofessional. My dress literally sat there for 6 weeks with no one working on it, and fewer than 72 hrs before I'm supposed to pick it up, they tell me they haven't even started despite my paying for these alterations on May 11th! My wedding is out of state, so I need my dress by July 12th, and it is June 20th! I remember being at this location for the first fitting, and the seamstresses seemed overworked and very unhappy. I had a bad feeling in my gut that I couldn't shake and actually wanted to go somewhere else but felt that they know their own dresses. Now I wish that I had. Any company that treats employees as just a means to should expect to lose them. read more

Let me say that if you're only buying a dress, this is a great place to shop. The sales people are great and the dress selection is pretty good with decent pricing. But go to the one in Plymouth mtg. I found a dress that I fell in love with. 90% of what I loved about the dress is the lacy detail along the bottom. When I spoke with the seamstresses at the store in Plymouth meeting, they told me that when they hemmed the dress, they'd take off the appliqué and hem the skirt and then put the appliqué back on. She actually even ran her finger all up and down the bottom of the dress following the detail, so I KNOW she meant the WHOLE appliqué. I needed the dress for June 11th. So, I made an appointment with the one in Springfield since Plymouth mtg couldn't do it in time (after calling to verify that they could get it done within 5 weeks). While I was there getting pinned up, I overheard the girls talking about how they lost a customers dress. It was a black dress due in a few days and no one knew where it was. I should've walked out at that point but I didn't. I called twice to ensure my dress was there and on schedule. I was told it was on schedule. 9pm the night before I'm scheduled to pickup, I get a call asking if I can push it back a little. I explain that I live 45 min away and work every day until I need the dress, so I needed to pick it up. I could only give another hour. She said she was almost done and finishing it up, so she'd figure it out. I never received another phone call the next day, so I went as planned. I get there and everyone is feverishly working on dresses, but I find out mine hasn't been touched at all since the previous night, it's not done. I demand my money back and say I'm taking my dress as is. I was in tears. Eventually someone came up to me and said they could have it done in 45 minutes. I asked, "with it being done in 45 minutes, is it going to be done right, or is it going to look bad?" She assured me that their most experienced seamstress would do it. So I give them an hour. I try it on and am excited, until I look down and pick up the overskirt. All of the lace detail is gone. At least 4 inches worth of appliqué is gone. They cut right through the appliqué and simply sewed the scallop bottom overtop of all the detail still left on the dress. So there was detail overlapping detail. My favorite part of the dress was RUINED and could not be fixed. They also used white thread instead of clear nylon thread, so there's a white line going all along the bottom. They kept saying we will fix it, but they couldn't, it was too late. The part I loved was destroyed. They did trim off the overlapping detail underneath, but it is ruined. Since it was done wrong, the tulle underneath gets caught on all the trimmed areas of the appliqué so it doesn't even lay right when you walk. And I later noticed that one layer of tulle under the overskirt sticks out longer than the top layer, so that wasn't even hemmed right. They offered no solution that worked. They kept saying they'd "fix it," but the skirt was cut, the appliqué was cut. You'd have to start over with a new dress, which they did not offer. They did not offer to at least partially reimburse me for what I paid for the dress. Nothing. I called the store in Plymouth meeting, I told them I didn't expect them to do anything, but that they should stop sending people to Springfield for alterations. She was mortified and said she felt that they should swap out the dress and start over. She said she'd talk to her manager and be in touch. Shocker, I never heard from them. We lost my fiancé's father last year, so I was really looking forward to my dad seeing me in my dress. Now, every time I put it on, I cry. It's not even about the money.....but it is about what I paid for for the money. And before they butchered my dress, I paid about $800 for an off the rack dress that I loved. And now, I have paid $800 for a dress that makes me cry (in a bad way) every time I put it on. The complete mismanagement of time is astounding. The fact that anyone would think that what they did to my dress is acceptable is absolutely unbelievable. It amazes me that there is such a lack of responsibility with them,and no attempt to correctly fix a problem they created that has ruined my dress. It is hard to see in the picture, but two pictures (top and right) show the detail that goes up in different areas in the dress along the bottom. The left is after their butcher job. As you can see, only the scallop bottom is visible. All the detail that would be running up the dress along the front is gone. The reason I gave this a good review is because of the staff at the Plymouth mtg store. The mgr of that store took a hit to her own sales and returned the cost of the dress over the phone for me. She went well above and beyond and was so understanding and I only wish that the managers at the Springfield store had been as helpful read more

I ordered my dress from David's Bridal online and came here to have it altered. The first seamstress completely botched my dress and I was mortified and almost cried when I tried it on during my pickup. Thank the Lord for ALYECE! She got my dress back into a wearable state just in time for my wedding. I was upset that I almost had to pay for the redone alterations and I did have to buy a too small bustier to help with the alterations so that I would have my dress for my wedding. read more

I want to give David's Bridal more than 3 stars because the staff that greeted me and the woman I worked with were really tentative and nice. It's the selection and quality of dresses and my overall experience that warrants this rating. When my Mom and I arrived, we were greeted right away and given a welcome bag with more information about David's Bridal and a selection of coupons for a local chain spa and Vistaprint. [It might not have been Vistaprint, but it was definitely something similar] We were told we could walk the selection of wedding dresses and pull anything we wanted to try on. We pulled 5 dresses in all different shapes and styles. The selection was small, but there were a lot of racks. Once you pull a dress you like, the woman you work with then pulls your size in that dress. I can't remember the woman I worked with, but she was part time, older, fast, tentative and made me feel very comfortable. When she showed me the room, she took my bra measurements and gave me a different bra to wear; a bra with boning. She was also helping another family, but she was good with communicating with me that she needed another 5 minutes to pull a dress for me and help them. I didn't mind this HOWEVER, I stayed in the fitting room that had no chair and no bench. I know I probably shouldn't complain about this, but this means that I was standing for over an hour. We tried on a large selection of dresses but none were "the" dress. Compared to other bridal boutiques, you could tell the quality was poor and you were getting what you paid for. I would recommend David's to a bride on a budget or a bride paying for her own gown because some of these dresses, like the fit and flare I tried, were really beautiful dresses. Once in a dress and clamped up, you walked out of the small fitting room [with no chair or bench] out onto a large platform that was shared with other brides. The bride in the room next to me tried on MAYBE 2 dresses the entire time I tried on mine. The woman she was working with was no where to be found. I felt really bad for her because it was painfully clear that my experience was much different from hers. I didn't find my perfect dress at David's and I don't have anything negative to say about my experience. I would just recommend that brides on a budget or a bride paying for her own gown visit David's. Keep and open mind and try on different styles and shapes because while the dresses are cheap, they really do have a nice selection. read more

I was told they would replace the cups in my dress with a bigger size. They instead clearly used the same small size cups and just moved them down so the dress fits so poorly. The wedding was in two days so there is nothing I could do. Would not recommend. read more

This location is completely absurd . I've order my dress the beginning of feb 2020 which came in very quickly . The rest of my dress was promised on or before April 27 . I text them today since it is tues and they aren't working and there is no record of my order but only the dress I picked up . I also inquired about one of girl's bridesmaids dress and they can't locate that either . I'm getting married in a month and I do not need this stress . Horrible experience..do not waste your time or money here. Fell in love with a color and made an appointment to try on bridesmaid dresses with 2 of my girls. I told the sales lady Marisa the color I wanted and that I liked neutrals. She pulled a red and a purple dress to try on. Then she walked away to tend to a bridal appointment and never came back! We stood there waiting to be helped and she ever returned nor did anyone else. We tried to salvage the appointment (that was apparently useless to make) by shopping ourselves. I found the color I wanted to see even though she said they didn't have it. We complained and it changed nothing so we walked out. I have 10 girls that need dresses as well as a flower girl and we will be bringing our business elsewhere. Severely disappointed in the lack of customer service. read more

Zero stars if I could! My sister went to go pick up her dress this past Friday 8-26-2022 and was met with the assistant manger Sanna D. She was not only extremely rude but she gave my sister the wrong dress ruining her wedding day. Her wedding day was the day after on 8-27. Since it wasn't the correct dress she wasn't able to wear it, if it was her size I think she would've made it work but it wasn't. She returned the following day to get a full refund for the mistake David's bridal made but was greeted with the same rude "manager" that didn't even offer her an apology or anything. This is one of the main reasons why big brand shops like David's bridal get such a bad rep. It's the people you chose to represent your shop. Mistakes happen but being disrespectful without no apology or remorse for ruining someone's big day is never ok. Do better and I would never ever recommend anyone else to visit this shop. read more

I made an appointment to come into the store at 5pm on 5-15-17. I'm a little curious on why i even needed an appointment since we basically had no help! We wandered the store for a good 30 mins (our fault since we got there early) before a consult came to "help us". I showed her things I like and we tried on a few dresses. And that was that. She didn't offer any advice, didn't help pick out anything different, and didn't help zip in the dresses. I showed her ones I like and she said "oh those are special occasion dresses and didn't let us try them on. I purchased my bridal gown from David's bridal in Springfield about a month ago, it came in and I picked it up from the store. The woman quickly asked if I wanted to try it on and I chose not to since I didn't have the time available. Once I was able to try it on at home I began to notice many imperfections and a "boutique sample" tag. To me, a boutique sample has been tried on by other brides in store, which seems absolutely ridiculous to sell to a bride. I spent well over $1000 on this dress to get a sample that was used in store. I called the store and I was basically told there was nothing I can do other than bringing it into the store and reorder it again. But even then I was still told there's no guarantee that I'd be getting a new dress and not a sample product. I am beyond frustrated with the customer service I've received and do not recommend getting your bridal dress at this location. read more

Despite having made an appointment our entire bridal party was thoroughly ignored by the woman who was given the task of attending to us. When we did finally flag her down, she wasn't helpful at all. She ended up telling us stories of her daughter's wedding. Unfortunately, her answers to our questions were not well informed either. How do you not know if you have rush delivery? I know that Davids Bridal has the market cornered on bridesmaid dresses and you are at their mercy, but I don't understand the scare tactics they use to make you order your dress 4 months in advance. Also equally annoying is their sizing situation. Granted this is a company issue as opposed to this particular store, but I don't understand it. In a business that is supposed to cater to women, why make the dresses too small and force you to try on something 2 sizes bigger...or worse, in my case, they didn't have my size and had me try on something that was 8 sizes bigger and then they offered to clothes pin it like a giant sack down my back. Doesn't exactly make me want to fork over the $150 for piece of junk dress that I know I will never wear again. I was so fed up with the woman who was "helping" us, that I chose not to purchase my dress at this location. I did go to the Plymouth Meeting location and had two women helping me. A much better experience there and only a quick shot up the blue route. read more

To start with, I am SO not into the whole bride thing. My mom and I went to David's just to see what we'd find. My time frame was very short, I didn't have a bridal party, I did not want to be a floofy Cinderella creampuff, and I most certainly was not into spending $$$$$ on a dress I'd wear once. So yes, David's has a huge selection, relatively reasonable prices, and accommodates a realistic range of dress sizes. Overall, I do (heh) recommend this store. This is mainly thanks to the exceptional service I received, and I did find the perfect dress! Definitely request an appointment with Ms. Yvonne. She is amazing, kind, non-pushy, and just a lovely person who went above and beyond to help me. Jeanette, the manager, was also outstanding, and Marina and Maggie in alterations were great and patient despite many complex fit issues with my dress. Note: I was shocked by how expensive alterations were (almost as much as the dress itself!). So you should know to factor that into your budget. I don't know if it would've been different anywhere else though, because my dress needed a lottt of work. I wish the store had better, more flattering lighting, and the dressing rooms really should have mirrors in them so you could get a first look at yourself privately. I did not like having to walk out of the dressing room, in full view of whoever's around, to get to a mirror. read more

I have a love/hate relationship with DB (David's Bridal.). While I elected in the end NOT to get my bridal gown through them, my bridesmaids both got decent (cheap - but hell, they'll NEVER wear them again - let's face it) bridesmaids dresses there. The customer service can run the gamut from "fend for yourself, bitch" to "your humble servant". It depends on who you get and WHAT DAY AND TIME (i.e. do not TRY to get good service on a weekend in "bridal/prom" season). Meanwhile - you can buy color swatches here for $1 a piece and go have a dress made in whatever color your bride has forced upon you. I had my girls wear a cobalt/royal blue shade called "Royal Velvet". They were allowed to pick any dress they wanted as long as it met 2 criteria: 1. Had to be floor length 2. Had to be Royal VElvet. Surprisingly enough both gals selected strapless styles - and they are NOT small women. They both needed fitting and the alterations were done correectly the first time. A-men. Thank god the weddig planning is over. P.S. Do NOT give them your email address, like I did, or your will be on Every frikkin' bridal/newlywed email spam list around for months and months. Keep in mind that two stars means, "I've experienced better." Just because David's Bridal wasn't for me, doesn't mean it can't work for you! I went here after a day of dress shopping, and was really only concerned about checking out bridesmaids dresses for my girls, but knew if we wanted attention, I should try on a few dresses myself. The material of the two I tried on felt cheap and were more akin to the quality of prom dresses than bridal gowns. No thank you. Now that we snagged a consultant, she helped us find bridesmaid dresses in a beautiful color and fabric. I'm not 100% sure we'll go with it yet, but it's definitely an option! It's also helpful since one of my bridesmaids lives in another state, and David's Bridal is nationwide. The worst of it all is the hounding on the phone. They've called me multiple times, offering photographer packages and other nonsense. Please, just...stop. It might make sense if you're buying your dress from them, but otherwise, it's obnoxious. Give them your phone number at your own risk!! I understand that they offer wedding dresses at amazing prices, and for a lot of people, that's perfect. But they are just not for me. read more

A woman named sheryl attended my wife and she pretty much ignored her. And when she wasnt ignoring her, she was talking to her like she was stupid because english isnt her first language. Also, she made an appointment and they didnt have enough people working, so that woman was handling another group. If someone makes an appointment, you make sure they get attended. That lady needs to be fired and this place needs new and better employees. My wife didn't feel special when she was looking for her dress. That's pretty disgraceful. I'd hate to say that this place is kind of ghetto, but... Aside from that, we had a good experience. Our hostess was Toni (I think) and she was great. She was patient and helpful and just down to earth. They have a huge collection of bridesmaid dresses and a ton of space. There are also a bunch of shoes and accessories to choose from. Be sure to check out the Vera Wang collection. One thing I thought was a scam was them telling me I needed to order my dress right away b/c it wouldn't be here till the end of May. My sister's wedding is in June! So, the second week in January, I rushed to order my dress. Two weeks later, my dress is hanging in my car! I think they just want you to get nervous and quickly buy from them. But who knows, maybe I was just "lucky." read more

I have to be honest, I wasn't looking forward to coming here. I hate shopping, I hate dresses and I hate people. Well, let me rephrase that, I hate people suffocating me and surrounding me at every turn as though I'm completely incapable of doing anything for myself. With that all being said, I have to say that this was actually a very productive and extremely smooth sailing trip! I'm getting married in the Spring and myself and my bridesmaids went to check out the bridesmaid dresses and hopefully find something of good quality and at a decent price. I hate that most times you'll never be able to wear your bridesmaid dress again, and you've put out half a paycheck for it in the meantime. We went ahead and looked through the racks of dresses to start pulling what we could for my bridesmaids to start trying what they could on. I have to stop and complain here; they do not have the biggest selection of plus sized dresses to try on, which can be embarrassing, frustrating and just plain annoying. You have to stuff yourself into a dress that's 2 sizes to small and have clips all over you in order maybe get a feeling of what you might look like in the dress if it was actually your size. I don't see why they can't offer each dress in each size they would normally sell. Another thing that I'd have to complain about, as far as company wise goes, they don't have any bridesmaid dresses with sleeves. Not a SINGLE dress comes with sleeves. I understand sleeves aren't "the thing" anymore, but when you have bird arms like me, and feel like you could fly away at a moments notice, it would be nice not to have to buy an additional item, (i.e. jacket or pashmina). The carpets are hideous in this place, but that's not really a deal breaker for me, but just know they aren't pretty. The chairs are also cracked and split vinyl, so make sure you're not wearing shorts or a skirt. Alright, it seems like I really hate this place, but I can't say after all my above complaints that I do. We had Toni as a consultant and she was really amazing, she wasn't running around like a crazy person and leaving me in the lurch. She paid attention to my girls and made sure they had what they needed, (i.e. corsets, shoes). Everything went a lot better and smoother than I thought it would, and we were in and out in about an hour. It was great to hear my girls say, "yes to the dress!" I have to forewarn you, make sure that you go either early in the morning or late at night in order to get the proper attention you want and deserve. read more

Shantel was my assistant and she was amazing! I was really nervous and honestly dreading the whole thing because I typically hate my body and dresses, but she made the experience really light and fun even. She was really professional and so patient. I must have tried over 10 dresses and I was between 2 and decided to sleep on it. I spent 2 and a half hours there and she never once made me feel rushed or like I was inconveniencing her in any way. Just a really bubbly, energetic personality. At one point one of the dresses I loved, she looked it up and it didn't come in my size. My aunt was really angry that I was put in a dress that didnt come in my size in the first place. In the end, she found it did come in my size in a very similar color. I don't fault her for that bc the trying on process did become a whirlwind of different dresses. The store in general also has a surprisingly large selection. I thougjt davids bridal was all cheapy dresses, but they had a lot of couture-like gowns. I went to the David's Bridal in Springfield, PA (Store 26) on November 30th and bought a bridesmaids dress. The staff were kind and extremely helpful. I was expecting the entire process to be much more painful and time consuming than it actually was. I was assisted in pulling dresses, trying them on and finally making a purchase. My time in the store was exceptional. My problems with David's Bridal began on December 19th, almost three weeks after my initial purchase. My card was declined while I was shopping and I was shocked to see when I checked my bank account that I had been charged for my dress again even though 19 days had passed since I was in their store. Not only was this a huge inconvenience with the holidays being so close but it also caused my account to be overdrafted and money to be taken from my savings account to cover the charges, both things which I am charged for through my bank. I went through my bank statement to ensure that I had been charged on November 30th without it being refunded for some reason and then I began calling DB to try to get this figured out. I first called the store where I had purchased the dress. The woman who answered the phone there informed me there was nothing they could do and I would have to contact costumer service. I called customer service the next day and spoke to a woman named Keisha. She first told me that they don't store card information, which frankly has to be a blatant lie because there is no other way they could have charged the same card almost 3 weeks later if they didn't have my information stored in their system. Next she told me she had to call another department and would get back to me within the next 24 hours. 24 hours went by and I heard nothing. I called back the next day, got Keisha again, had the same conversation with her I had the day before and once again she told me that she would get back to me within 24 hours. Again, I never heard from her. At this point the holiday had arrived so I had to put the entire situation on hold. Today (December 26) I called customer service and once again spoke to Keisha. A couple minutes into explaining the situation (yet again) she says that she 'thinks she remembers talking to me last week.' She had the nerve to once again suggest that David's Bridal doesn't store card information, the same blatant lie. This time she asked me for my credit card number. When I told her I was hesitant to give her this information because of the situation she flatly responded by tell me I had to give her the information if I wanted my money back. I finally relented and gave her the information in the hopes that the problem could finally be solved. At that point she told me that she had to email another department and would call me back, this time within minutes. Once again, I didn't hear back from her. Tomorrow I plan on calling once again and telling them I will be filing a police report for fraudulent charges against David's Bridal if the issue isn't resolved. I'm disgusted both by the fact that this happened and the way it has been handled by personnel on their end. For anyone planning on shopping at David's Bridal for anything, I suggest reconsidering. It's not worth having your card information stolen or having to deal with people who are so unwilling to help you. You would be better off finding a more reliable company to do business with. read more

I went today with my friend who's getting married in September. She was very hesitant on trying anything on so we tried a bridesmaid dress for me first. Shout out to Tony because she knew my size, what we were looking for, and she just knew exactly what we wanted. She was so friendly and helpful! It was a great experience! I had a very nice experience at David's Bridal. Melissa was my consultant and she was fabulous! This was my first time trying on dresses and I had no idea what I was looking for. Melissa had me try on each different silhouette so I got a better idea how different dresses fit my body. She really helped me narrow things down and made me feel comfortable. I was so anxious about this process but Melissa made me laugh and gain some confidence throughout my visit. While I didn't find THE dress here, I left with greater knowledge and would highly recommend David's Bridal. Every staff member we encountered here was friendly and accommodating. I did not like the way I was treated by the staff member assigned to me to try on mob dresses. She did not help me at all trying on , zippering adjustments. And when I asked her to writs 2 of the dresses Downingtown card for me . She said no you can take a picture of them , I don't think your ready to buy a dress ? Rude , I couldn't get out fast enough . Covid procedure are enforced. But never been talked to that way from someone who's supposed to be helping me , I had an appointment. Won't go back . read more

Hi everyone I am a consumer with a totally honest review regarding me and my daughter experience with David's Bridal in Springfield Pennsylvania First of all. Toni is extremely wonderful and knowledgable and she is a great person who aided me and my daughter in saying YES to the DRESS!!!! Today. We went in for my Girls first fitting and it was WONDERFUL AGAIN THANK YOU AGAIN TO TONI, Jeanette M.(STORE MANAGER) Josie, (THE MOST AWESOME SEAMSTRESS AROUND) and sweetest lady and Lauren who helped us at the register OUR EXPERIENCE WAS SO FAR, nothing short of WONDERFUL AND HAPPY!!!!! My experience with David's Bridal was stressful and disappointing from our first appointment to our last appointment. Unfortunately, my bride tribe wanted to take a cheaper route and decided to purchase their dresses here (3) back in January 2022. Upon arrival, we were paired with a very unenthusiastic women who directed us to a small section in the back. We told her, numerous times I might add, that the wedding is June 12, 2022 and we need royal blue dresses. My bridesmaids tried on a few and fell in love with one. After trying it on, taking pictures, and everything else, the rep. tells us it won't be ready by June 12th. OK. They try on another style, fell in love, again, the rep says, it doesn't come in royal blue....OK! She then tells us that our appointment is coming to an end, we basically need to leave...She literally wasted our time now telling us to leave..NO! We end up working with a manager, Torre. Torre is very apologetic, super pumped to step in and help. She finds us different dresses, gives us an arrival date, sets up a profile for the other bridesmaid (she couldn't make it so we picked something out for her to try on), and sends us on our way. The bridesmaid that didn't come goes to her David's Bridal location and finds out the profile was never made, so she had to get some random dress. The other bridesmaid dress came in earlier than expected, which was great! The last dress...we had major issues! Apparently the dress was shipped to the store but nobody notified us, so it was shipped back to the warehouse and had a delivery date AFTER my wedding. How they f***k that up, I don't know. Trying to find out exactly where the dress was and if it would be here in time was a nightmare! Each rep, including the manager Torre, provided different information and set different expectations. We felt like we were being lied to and/or finessed the entire time, it was an emotional roller coaster! I feel like everyone just said what we wanted to hear and didn't really know anything. I'm a big girl so dresses don't get along with me and i was dreading this like you would not believe. However, i'm the maid of honor at my best friends wedding , I had no choice. I went here with my mother, we got there shortly after opening and I just told the girl at the desk that this was my first time here, told her what i needed and when the wedding was. she took my information and told me to browse around while she gets a stylist for me. So I was looking around the bridesmaid section and shortly a very nice woman named Toni found us and helped me out.I did have a problem, the wedding is in april and ordering anything in would not have gotten here on time but there was one dress in the store in the color my friend wanted. I tried on the size 26 (i thought i would be a 30!) and it was huge around the top but fit fine in the waist. Toni thought it would work out cause she noted that i'm smaller up top than i am in the hips. There were many dressing rooms and everything was very clean. I put the dress on and she clipped it so i could see what it would look like taken in, she even got me a strapless bra which really made the dress fit that much better. I looked great, was comfortable and best of all this was REALLY effortless. I was in and out in one hour. Toni was very nice,understanding and open. The only advice I would give is to get there early, don't wait until even a few months before the event because ordering may take a long time. also, they do try to up sell which i understand but have a budget and be firm. if you don't want to get shoes or jewelry there tell them no and stick with it. Generally I had a really good experience, my fellow bridesmaids had no problem either! On a side note i found all the staff pleasant, everyone was in a good mood, very sweet and really wanted to make sure i was comfortable and that they were catering to my preferences.
