The amount spent was well worth it to me because of the customer service. Customer service started the moment I talked to the salesperson on the floor until I received and was happy with the order I had placed. I would recommend Macy's furniture department for quality of goods and customer service.

While searching the racks, my Grandmom asked to use the bathroom where she received a whole lot of attitude. I felt that our presence was a bother. The clothing selection on the sale rack (the only dress section not wrapped in plastic) where the prices were ALMOST reasonable due to the summer sale. Their reduced rack (50%) seemed more on the line of where their regular prices should be. The rest of the store is wrapped in plastic which makes dress shopping difficult. The have great dresses although extremely overpriced. On the staff attitude alone, I would not give them any business, even if I fell in love with a dress. Went to another boutique a few stores down, the staff was wonderful. My Mom tried on 12 or more dresses where Trish was patient and so helpful. They were welcoming, friendly and had a much better selection.

I am petite and they have a large petite section. Also, they tend to have clothes in stock as well. 1 star for staff. Almost everyone I've encountered in this store is incredibly rude. The manager is the worst. It can be difficult to get staff members to help you and when they do they seem bothered about it. I have had a few pleasant staff members ... but unfortunately they do not seem to be the norm. I try and shop at Ann Taylor in Suburban Square as much as I can. But, often end up at KOP when Suburban Square doesn't have a style in stock.

My purpose on this day was to find a replacement for the black tank Tom loves to wear; it's been worn so much, the one side is literally hanging on by threads. Since I found out it came from Old Navy, I decided to surprise him with a new one when I go back to Reading to see him tomorrow. I found that the replacement tank I sought was a mere $5, and the employee was more than happy to point out where they were and helped me find the size I was looking for. They turned out not to have it, so I bought the next size up since the medium wasn't much bigger than the small. They do get a star off for register lines though. They had two registers open but the lines had more than 8 people with full bags in each. The cashier that rung me out did apologize for the wait though. So if cheap, no frills, and functional is your thing, definitely check out Old Navy!

I live in Seattle and even at the flagship stores nobody went out of their way to help me track down an item I was looking for over the course of 6 weeks! I went in person to another WA Nordies and was equally disappointed that nobody was willing to go the extra mile to help a loyal customer order something that was hard to find. Once upon a time there was an incredible employee named Carla at the little Northgate location - store #2 (a location that is no more) and her star power did not go unnoticed. She was promoted up through the corporate chain and my favorite stylist was mine no more! I have yet to find another dedicated stylist/employee in all of the Nordstrom brand until Jaclyn in King of Prussia, PA! This professional gets the highest praise from me all the way out in WA state! Thank you for making your store shine in a sea of regular Nordies!

Thank you, Ko-Shin, for your incredible service. Nordstrom is lucky to have you!

The KOP J Crew is also one of a select few to carry wedding and bridal dresses in store. Typically, due to high demand, this store requires you to book about a month in advance, but my gal pals and I lucked out and were able to join a group wedding event with less than 7 days notice. We showed up right on time and were seen immediately by Theresa. She had the three dresses we were interested in - Arabelle, Nadia, and Heidi - pulled and ready for us in two separate fitting rooms. My girlfriends are uber slender, sizes 0 and 2, and were able to try on each of the dresses in the correct size (WAY impressive). They even had some petite sizes (recommended for ladies 5'-2" and under). Theresa also pulled two dresses in the colors we were interested in - making the choice between misty rose and bright coral even easier. Word to the wise - the misty rose is really pretty, but may be too light to flatter most skin tones. After less than 30 minutes, we were able to make a decision and order the dresses. We were told it would be a 4-6 day lead time, with free returns up until the wedding to boot! Unfortunately the ordering process wasn't as easy as the fitting. My two bridesmaids filled out separate order forms, but their dress sizes were mixed up. They received a small discount for the inconvenience, but it's up to them to return the dresses to their local store, or pay to return them via snail mail. Even with the mixup I'd highly recommend scheduling an appointment - just be sure to double check the order confirmation forms.

Today, they were having 50% off the entire store, as well as 30% off the clearance section, from which I ended up picking out two pairs of pants. The clearance section itself was pretty disorganized - I found clothes in my size all along the two walls that comprised the clearance section - but workable if you're wiling to take your time. Changing rooms were clean and service was fairly prompt.
