Dumpy location with poor service and selection. Was lied to about a "rewards card" which was actually a credit card. Avoid.

Location seems limited in selection as the other review has mentioned. Ok prices. Cleaner and more organized than some I've been to though.

FDC and I were out and about, running errands and such. Hey, I said. Heard some good things about…read moreNana's Attic. How about we check it out? Sure! In we go. It's.a lovely moderately sized store tucked into one of the strip mall buildings, near the State Store and the Indoor Pool school. Yes, there's an indoor pool in one of the stores. It's a swim school or something. But I digress... Everything was laid out very nicely, they have many things to buy, but not so much that you're overwhelmed. We learned that there are two kinds of stock: CONSIGNMENT items have a larger yellow tag. DONATED items have a small bright orange/red tag. They tend to keep the consigned items more towards the front of the store, also. So if you see an item and you think, wow, that's kinda high...check the tag. Chances are it's a consigned item. We browsed about and found some lovely things - FDC bought a gorgeous Italian Pottery vase and I got some very cool drinking glasses that just happen to match some shot glasses that I gave Lion a couple years ago. Score! On subsequent trips I have found an awesome set of mid-century bamboo plates for picnics (LOVE THESE!) and other fun stuff too. The staff are completely lovely people, the store is clean, well lit and well organized. Proceeds benefit survivors of domestic violence - they have a shelter for victims and also fund programs. Parking is super easy (pro tip - avoid the crowds, small parking lot behind the Barnes & Noble easy in/easy out!). Heck, yeah, I'll be back. It's a great little store supporting a very needed service in our area.

Tons of cool items to choose from. I saw a ton of nice men's suits from Jos A banks. I'm sure someone will pick them up asap. Plenty of housewares, furniture, shoes and clothes to choose from I'll definitely be back

We came across this place while looking for thrift stores and secondhand shops, as we're trying to…read morereduce our environmental impact by minimizing the amount of new clothes that we buy. This is a big store with a decently curated selection of clothes. Like many stores of this ilk, there was far more women's clothing than men's. As a consignment shop rather than a thrift store that benefits from donations, the prices here are higher than what you might find at a Goodwill or Salvation Army store. There were some bargains to be found, nevertheless. Overall the quality and cleanliness of the items were good. Staff was friendly, though they were mostly preoccupied with people bringing in their used clothing and (I assume) negotiating reasonable prices with them. We ended walking away with a few good finds.

This place is a straight up waste of time!!!! if I could give you zero stars, I would!…read more The way they insult you with their offers is absolutely ridiculous. I just bought two brand new Fashion Nova pantssuits never been worn tags still on them (purchased earlier this year)..... both in season; but I waited too long to return them and they're both too big. That's the only reason why I decided to do this because there's nothing wrong with either of them. They just tried to offer me $8! I said I know you lying?? B I can't even get 2 gallons of gas now for eight dolars. Who do they think people are ,crackheads or something??? I said give me back my stuff please! All gonna do is just take them to the cleaners. It's gonna cost me more money, but that's OK. Take both these pants suits to the cleaners to get them altered so I can wear them no problem.. It's not like Fashion Nova is exactly cheap either. I don't know who told them. I think I paid $60just for one blazer! This place is a joke. Don't waste your time. You'll be better off, donating your clothes and getting a tax write off for it. and compared to some of the BS that was hanging on those racks you probably offered them $2! What a joke what the fuck is somebody gonna do with eight dollars? That's an insult. and then resell my stuff for at least $40! No way

Thrift & Thrive is the new, larger thrift store run by the nonprofit Domestic Abuse Project of…read moreDelaware County. They previously ran Nana's Attic in Broomall (now closed). I stopped by a few days ago to check out their new store. It's significantly bigger than Nana's Attic, which means it feels far less cramped. Yay! Still very good prices, the "yellow tag" items are consignment and generally higher priced than the store's donated stock. It about killed my soul to see an awesome vintage salt & pepper mixed in with newer dishes in a consignment lot. Aaah! Staff are great, the store is clean and bright. I'll definitely be back. Note: angled parking in front of the building is NOT free, Pontiac is a public street, and those are pay at kiosk metered spots.

I do not recommend going here. Thrift and Thrive has lost my business after 10+ years…read more As previously stated, I have been a customer for over ten years. I have been a customer at this store since it was called Nana's Attic. Today I was there, looking for furniture. The selection was a bit overpriced for the quality. Suddenly, I needed to use the restroom. The woman working informed me that they did not have a public restroom and that I could go to the Dollar Tree next door. The Dollar Tree did not have a usable restroom. I returned to thrift and thrive because, quite frankly, I was literally about to pee myself. I begged to use the employee bathroom. The employees lied to my face and said that there was no bathroom in the entire store. Yeah right, if that's true, then that's a worker's rights violation, and they would not be in business. I explained that I was having an emergency and they did not care. It really stinks to be a loyal patron of a store, then to be treated so poorly in return. Particularly during a vulnerable moment. There are plenty of better thrift stores in the area with better prices AND customer bathrooms. It's a shame that a store that has such a great mission doesn't provide a great shopping experience.
