When I got a really big chip driving down I5, I frantically searched on yelp for a chip repair place and found victor's with an awesome rating! I drove to his house and he fixed the chip in under 30 minutes. Apparently he will drive out to your location, but he was happy to help me there at his house. Someone broke into my car and I needed the window fixed ASAP. He was able to get the window in the next morning. They showed up at my home and were able to change out the window, vacuum out the door, and be done in less than hour. The prices were cheaper than competitors and they come to your home, which is an added convenience. I didn't use insurance but I think he does take insurance and also does home windows. I typically do not do reviews but Victor Glass was absolutely amazing and I wanted anyone looking for glass repair or replacement to know he is the best around. I found Victor Glass on yelp and went through their prior reviews. I had the exact same experience as many others. I had a rock hit my windshield at about 3:00 p.m. I was able to get in contact with Shane around 4:00 p.m. and we set an appointment for 7:00 p.m. for him to repair it. Not only did he follow through and call prior to coming, he was a few minutes early to our appointment and got the window repaired in 20 minutes. I literally can barely see where the chip was and more importantly I do not have to worry about it spreading. As my spouse is the one who handles all of our repairs, Shane has made this the easiest process ever. No stress, takes insurance, arrives on time, gets the job down with little to no work on the consumers part. I called victor glass for a quote on my Honda after reading reviews on yelp. The quote was middle road (You get what you pay for... I don't believe in going cheap all the time...) Shane was very nice and seemed laid back. My boyfriends toyota's windshield also had a crack in it and begun growing quickly. I called shane back and asked for a quote on his windshield as well. I also asked for a 2 for 1 discount ;0). He gave us a reasonable discount in our quote. Him and another employee showed up right on time, they were very personable and friendly. They got right to work. Hour or so later, they were done with both, cleaned up, and rang the door bell. For the bill they gave even more of a discount then I expected. Turns out, it came shortly after my posted review but since I hadn't received or know about any alert options with Yelp, I just read it. I recently had three double pane glass windows go bad in my house. These windows had failed seals and were showing condensation between the panes. I called around and had three different glass companies come out and quote the glass replacement. When I spoke with Shane the owner of Victor Glass he was more than willing to give me a verbal estimate over the phone with the glass dimensions which helped me get an idea what the project was going to cost. I scheduled Shane to come out to my house to get an actual quote. Shane measured the glass, answered all my questions (I ask a lot of questions as I usually do my own home maintenance), showed me how to remove the moving part of the window to make them easier to clean, and we discussed a rock chip that was in my truck. I very much liked Shane's demeanor. He was easy to talk to, happy to answer all my questions, skilled, not pushy, and I had a good feeling about him. Shane produced a quote on-site that was very competitive. I had a much more expensive quote from a glass company that does a lot of advertising and a quote that was about the same as the one from Victor Glass. I did not feel as comfortable with the person that gave me the other similarly priced quote. I asked Shane if he could fix my windshield after he produced the quote and he was happy to do so. Again I asked a lot of questions while he worked on the windshield and he is very personable and answered all my questions. I was happy with the job on the truck so after paying him for that work I told him to order the windows for the house as I wanted to use him for that work as well. The windows were ready in 3 days (nice) and Shane called to schedule the install. He offered to come out that weekend to do the install which was great for my schedule. It was very helpful that he was willing to work over the weekend. He did a great job installing the new windows. During the install Shane took the time to discuss why the Alpine windows (company went bankrupt) that were in my house were a failed design and how the ones he gets locally are better (internal bracket is a better design, double sealed, and a desiccate added internally to absorb any moisture that might get in over time). We did have one issue. One of my upstairs windows has a white aluminum grid inside the window. The company that produced the new glass put the aluminum frame in the incorrect direction. Shane noticed it before he installed the window, apologized, and said he could have the replacement early in the week and that he would work the install in the same day he received the new window glass. I asked if he wanted me to pay for the windows and labor for the two windows he installed and he refused. He said for me to pay when he completes the job. A great sign of a reputable business person. I could not be happier with the product, service, and price from Victor Glass and would highly recommend them. Having been a small business owner in the past it was nice to find a hardworking and reputable small business owner to help me with my needs. read more

Got a Rock chip coming down the I5 on a Friday afternoon, called my insurance and told them I wanted Victor Glass. They conferenced him into the call and he arranged to come to my house on Saturday morning. Shane called me at 9am Saturday morning and got straight to work. He put protective covers over the car hood and started repairing my windshield. He then apologized because it wasn't perfect. Well it was to me! These guys are amazing! Got a rock chip (bull's eye) in my Volkswagen pulling off the freeway on my way to work. It wasn't your typical chip either as the hole was pretty small, but there were several cracks. I know from experience how window cracks can spread and knew that I needed this fixed. I called them up that afternoon (Thursday) and they came to my house Saturday morning. They were done in 20 minutes and the cracks aren't even noticeable anymore and the hole is filled. We were very pleased with Victor Glass. Shane is very professional and from the first day when he came to give us a bid, he put the booties on over his shoes. Respectful of our home is a plus from the start! We had a huge picture window replaced, not an easy job, but Shane made it look easy. First reason, was because of the price, very competitive for the service. Second, was the personal touch I noticed from the reviews, I appreciate the small things like that. Third, was when I tried to reach out to the big-name chains and express my concern of poor review and a lack of follow up by the company, this yielded no response at all (the silence spoke for itself), every issue post-service by Victor Glass was addressed and handled appropriately and professionally. Contacted them over the weekend, was quoted, set a time, they were on time and done in about 30 minutes. Looks solid and I will update if anything less than perfect when I drive it.
