Very clean nail shop. I visited on a Friday afternoon about 345pm to get a pedicure and manicure…read morefor my engagement photoshoot the next day. I enjoyed my pedicure. I got a French pedicure with gel polish. It turned out exactly how I wanted. I was offered a bottle of water. When it was time for my nails, the lady that did my pedicure sat me down to begin. Shortly after buffing my nails, she explained she needed to take another customer who I assumed to be her regular/appointment customer. While I didn't appreciate being booted to the side, I waited patiently for several minutes before asking someone else who was going to be doing my nails because I had another appointment elsewhere for my lashes and brows. I explained to the next lady what I wanted (French manicure like my toes but with a cateye base) she confirmed she could do it. I also let her know I needed to be out of here by 6. I appreciated her diligence with getting me out by 610pm but my nails weren't exactly how I pictured or what I showed in the picture as an example. I did not have time to get them corrected as I had other appointments for my engagement photoshoot the next day. The nails were pretty and the people were nice but when you pay $150 for services, you hope for them to be exactly how you want. I would try this place again but maybe with a simpler design concept (even though I think some people are capable of detailed designs because I noticed the lady's nails next to mine looked very good)

Deceitful business practices and poor customer service. Unfortunately, after coming to this…read moreestablishment on and off for approximately six years, I will not be returning. I initially started coming here because it is close to my home, usually for a brow wax and pedicure. I eventually stopped getting pedicures here because my gel polish consistently began chipping after about a week. However, I was short on time and decided to make an exception. When asked which pedicure I wanted, I specifically requested the Classic Pedicure, advertised in the service book provided to me at $25. I added callus removal, advertised at $11, and requested gel polish. I understand that gel polish is an additional charge and fully expected to pay an upcharge. What I did NOT expect was for a $36 pedicure before the gel upcharge to somehow become $67. When I questioned the total, I specifically asked the older woman at the counter which pedicure service I had been charged for and how much the gel polish upcharge was. Rather than simply itemizing the charges, she responded with clear irritation and told me that a gel pedicure is $40. That explanation still does not account for the total. If the gel pedicure is $40 and callus removal is $11, that equals $51. Even after adding their 2.5% card fee, the total should be approximately $52.28, not $67. I wasn't asking for a discount or refusing to pay. I simply wanted to understand what I was being charged for. A customer should be able to ask for an itemized explanation of a bill without being met with irritation, especially when the final price differs substantially from the advertised services. If there was another $14-$15 charge, no one explained what it was. Businesses should clearly communicate their prices and additional charges before performing a service, and customers should not have to do detective work afterward to figure out why their bill is significantly higher than expected. After six years of patronizing this business, this experience was enough for me to take my business elsewhere.

I scheduled my appointment on my phone and wasn't really sure if it went thru because I didn't…read morereceive an email I called to verify when my appointment was. Breanna was friendly and professional, and to be honest I was not expecting that. It wasn't that I was expecting her to be rude, it was the friendliness that I wasn't expecting and it left a wonderful impression on me. When I arrive I was greeted while she was on the phone, score on the warm and fuzzy feeling scale. Actually it was the second score because the call was the first one. After Breanna was done on the phone she guided me through the Covid prevention steps and said that Vicky will be with me shortly. Vicky was absolutely wonderful. She was open and friendly and checked in periodically to make sure I was happy with the process so far. She was personable and engaging. I had been to two different place and they didn't give me what I wanted. I realized it was all about technique. She was quick and thorough at that times that required it but was slow and purposeful at the other times. She used the file board more often then anyone of the other techs I went to. She gave me the right color and the right design. And most importantly she gave me what I wanted. All in all they scored a five in my warm and fuzzy world. Thank you Angel H. for recommending Vicky.

I visited this nail salon on a whim after passing by many times. The shop was bright, open, clean,…read moreand decorated with colorful accents. As I scanned the space, I noticed toward the back there appeared to be a coffee/tea bar. I was promptly acknowledged and seated at a nail station within moments. I didn't see a posted price list, so I asked about the cost of my services (dipping powder and a chin wax). The first person didn't understand, but my assigned nail technician provided the information. While I found the technician to be highly competent, quick, and efficient, I was surprised when she initiated a FaceTime call--not once, but twice--and remained on the call for nearly the entirety of my visit. Although it didn't affect the quality of the work, and I had no questions during the visit, being on the phone might have made it harder to ask anything if I had needed to. It struck me as slightly unprofessional. That said, the results were great, the service was timely, and the pricing was standard for the area. I haven't yet decided if I'll return, but overall, it was a solid experience.

After years at another nail salon a change had to be made…read more I came to this location located directly across from the Owings Mills Library/CCBC campus. It was very quiet. It is semi overly decorated and very tight as its a small shop with multiple tech stations and about 6 pedicure chairs crammed in. It was after 6pm with three nail technicians working with three clients. I noticed the nail technicians from the shop I previously patronized for years and walked away from. Lucy greeted me as I walked in and provided me a nail polish book and stated she will be with me in a couple minutes as she was finishing up with her client. I was motioned in the chair and nope Lucy did not speak bad about the previous nail salon eventhough I was upset about my experience. That's good in a person. Lucy's husband Leo came from the same shop as well. I was able to get my nails done by Charlie (Charles) as Lucy stated he was better at shaping the nails as I wanted. I had to get my old acrylic taken off as I started removing such earlier from my experience at the other shop. It cost me $10. Charlie was such a peaceful person and I was satisfied with his art of doing an overlay onto my natural nails. It was not thick, eventhough I expressed my picky desire of how my nails are shaped and the technique of acrylic process on my nails. I chose white and of course that wasnt as simple as they have many different polishes of white with different finishes and appearances once on the nail. I made a decision after Lucy assisted with placing several white polishes on her nails for view. Charlie was quick and did not roll the drill over my nails too much nor my cuticles. The process was stress-free and I left feeling good about my decision to patronize this location. Its a bit pricey and parking is hard during certain days and times. But with the ease of mind and less negative attitudes from a certain area of people it is okay to pay a little more. I was not able to get a pedicure due to my timing but will return for it. I was informed that Charlie has a heavy clientele and their is a need to make an appointment to be sure to get nails done. Lucy provided me his business card and stated walking in today was by luck and normally doesnt work. I will return.

1 STAR -- SAVE YOUR MONEY AND GO SOMEWHERE ELSE…read more This was hands down the WORST nail salon experience I have ever had. I told my nail technician FIVE TIMES that I did not like the color. Instead of stopping and listening to me, she started WORKING FASTER, ignored me, and repeatedly said, "Too late, too late." How is it too late when I am STILL sitting in your chair telling you I'm unhappy?! She also skipped the base layer I normally receive with dip nails and dismissed me when I questioned it. The final result is HORRIBLE--every nail is shaped differently, the color looks terrible, and the entire set looks rushed and sloppy. Then, to make an already awful experience worse, after I paid, she HELD ONTO MY CARD while waiting to see if I was going to leave her a tip. Absolutely unacceptable. I did not wait until I left to complain. I spoke up FIVE TIMES during the service and was deliberately ignored. I left angry, uncomfortable, and with nails I now have to pay someone else to fix. I would NEVER recommend this salon to my family, friends, or anyone else. SAVE YOUR MONEY. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE.
