I opted for a standard pedicure and paid an additional $25 to have my old gel nails removed and replaced with new ones. Mabel and I chatted as if we had known each other forever, and I truly enjoyed my time with her. She was sweet and kind and even offered some recommendations for great places in the area where I could spend time while waiting for my son to finish camp. I have been going to this salon for a few years and have always had a good experience until today. They have always been very accommodating with walk-ins, but for today I had scheduled an appointment. Thirty-five minutes after my designated appointment time, I finally left because I had no indication how much longer I would have to wait. Went to this nail salon the night before prom, and was completely disappointed with the quality of service I received. I asked for a squared black french tip with a silver line under the tip, and my nail artist just spackled it on there. I went in the morning of my prom to address my displeasure, and I had to pay an additional $40 + tip to get them fixed on top of the $90 + tip I spent the day prior for amateur work. The nails that they "fixed" started peeling after having them for less than a week! Save your time and money, and please avoid this salon! I came in today to get a gel manicure, and within the first 10 minutes of my service, the nail tech ripped off two of my nails and split one up the middle/cuticle. She then told me that she would 'give me tips' on the nails she damaged, and 'wouldn't charge' me for them. I confirmed there would be no additional charge for this, as she damaged them, and if they would offer a discount on my service. She said that the owner could only do a $5 discount and she would need to call him to ask for more (I asked for a $10 discount). He refused and then told her not to do my nails. When I asked for his name, she told me that she could not give it to me and that no one else in the salon could finish my nail service...so I left with bare, damaged nails. This place is not customer service-oriented. Don't waste your time or money. read more

This will be my last time coming here. I requested gel overlay soak off. The guy initially insisted on a gel manicure so I clarified that I just wanted gel removal, that's it. I wanted them soaked off due to nail sensitivity. He pulled out the box of acrylic tips and I stopped him to say that's not what I wanted. He rushed through the soak off process and mumbled something in his language to a few of his peers throughout the process. When I got home, I had to cut down my own nails because the guy didn't offer to cut or shape my nails... and that's when I noticed that there was still a layer of gel left on top of my nails. So now I am spending an extra hour to manually soak off the gel that I asked him to soak off with acetone. Wonderful. I will not be giving this place anymore money, ever. read more

Over charged and underserved. it was a mother and daughter visit. The price originally quote was 50 dollars for the mani pedi with gel per person. We didnt want gel on the hands. They charged $170 for both of us. The one gal zipped and rushed through and was snippy. The other was slower and kind. I called to confirm the pricing. After going over it he then made comments that it was 60 per person. Well the math doesnt add up does it? 2x60 is 140. I will never go back. There are better places here in Catonsville. I completely forgot to take pictures of this cute shop. Located in a two story office location. I will say this was the best pedicure I've had in a long time in terms of time and detail. Not sure how long it will last but my goodness the massage was great and she did not rush. My take away was that a $50 pedicure went up to $75 because I had gel on my toes. They do not cover the whole nail with polish. They leave space between the cuticle and polish so that it already looks like it has grown out so you need to come back again sooner. I suggest you try somewhere more reputable. read more

I made 10AM appointments, received several reminders for said appointments (being on time still didn't guarantee service) but didn't request a tech since this was our first time. We arrived on time and were both taken back for pedicures. Only I ended up sitting in COLD water for an hour! My daughter was done in 30 minutes while I awaited a technician. Once a 10:45 appointment was sat next to me and worked on, I was done. I got my shoes on and sat waiting for my daughter who was getting a full set, when at 11, the tech told me she was ready and I could come back. I refused to return to the chair and asked to speak with the manager. It was another 45 minutes before I actually approached the manager because he was avoiding me! He told me since I didn't request a technician, making an appointment is just like being a walk in and the 10:30 and two 11:00 appointments were assigned to someone which is why I was left waiting! Nice management skills. He was one of the techs that took an 11 appointment instead of helping me, leaving me in cold water. First off I do not like places that do not share price or assess my nails first and give me all possibilities. Haven't gotten my nails done since Covid I came here for the cleanliness and reviews. I walk in, I'm not asked to wash hands as the big sign says. The lady looks at my nails. Ask me if I want a tip...my reply "Do you charge" finally the lady behind me says yes. But does not say the price. The tech starts cutting my cuticles after dipping my fingers in a bowl of water only??? Barely takes any cuticle off. I look at my nails and ask how much is it for tips. Lady behind me says $5 but because the cuticle was cut the price would go from $45 to $60, $10 of which is for the cuticle cut. But if I said early on the price would be $50 and no cuticle cut. What in the heck?! How does that make since. Also I was offered a drink (water, ginger ale) I saw in the site wine was mentioned so I asked for that. And she said ok. Needless to say I won't be back. I've been coming here for almost a year now. This was one of the first salons I found during the pandemic that actually made me feel clean and safe. The staff is always friendly and attentive. Whenever I come in they are always prompt and ready to get started but also friendly and accommodating. I've brought my mom and my fiancé here multiple times and every time the staff has gone above and beyond to make them feel comfortable and welcome. Whenever I come I always see Michelle and she is always great. Creative and fun her nail designs never disappoint and always last until my next appointment. She always provides friendly service and good recommendations and she always goes above and beyond to make sure I have a positive experience. I randomly found this place on yelp because I was visiting family in the area and wanted to get my nails done while in town. I specifically wanted dip powder and this place came up. I called to confirm that they do in fact have dip powder (this is not a common thing in some places). Not only did they confirm they do, but they were quickly willing to accommodate an appointment for me. When I got to the location, it was easy to locate and the salon is immaculate. It is very welcoming and inviting. I was able to sign up as a customer and get points for every time I visit. My tech gave me EXACTLY what I wanted and took extra care of my nails and my services were not extremely expensive. I even managed to misplace my phone in the parking lot and the front desk person assisted me out in the lot. Just had a wonderful pedicure by Tom at T Nail Lounge. He was very careful around my ingrown toenail, explaining what he was doing and how to prevent further pain. Very strong, good calf massage. The place is clean and well run. Convenient parking in the shopping center. They're always prepared when I make a reservation. I don't have my finger nails done, so can only speak about the pedicure area. It's my little bit of paradise, once a month. Hope you'll give them a try. Usually T does my eyebrows but she moved. I was hesitant to give anybody else a chance because not everybody can do brows. When i'd call in they assured me that someone would be able to do my brows and I ask "are they good at doing brows?" the answer was "yes".
