The burgers & shakes are fantastic!! Service was great and has to be the best looking staff in town here! Stopped in on our way home from hiking and this place was a hit. Outdoor picnic tables in the shade, great spot and delicious shakes! We ordered the blackberry shakes and it tasted like they used real berries as we tasted seeds! It's the kind of shake where it's super thick and creamy and hard to suck out of the straw. So yummy!

We love Vick's Burger Shack! Located conveniently on Highway 2, this is the perfect place to stop for a quick meal. Truly great burgers, and the milkshakes are incredible. My only complaint is that I wish they were open later in the evening! Highly recommend checking this place out.

Made a quick stop here on the way back to Seattle from Steven's Pass. Tiny shack with a walk up window and lots of outdoor seating. The food was ready within 5 minutes and was very yummy! Burgers had a slight charred taste and milkshake was a little too thick to drink at first but eventually melted and has marshmallows and graham crackers mixed in. Would definitely recommend a stop here!

Horrible photos but we wanted to give another one of these burger spots a try when we were headed east and the shack did not disappoint. The fellas working there were friendly and our food took less than 10 mins. I had the bacon cheeseburger and we split fries, both tasty. We'd for sure come back and try more of the menu.

After leaving Wallace Falls State Park, we were on our way home and ready for lunch, so glad we chose this local spot over McD's! There is a drive thru or walk up, we parked and walked up to order, it took less than 10 minutes for our flame-grilled burgers and hand spun shakes. The food tasted fresh and was what you want with a small burger spot. Tender burger patties with that charred flavor, spicy chipotle sauce and melted pepper jack cheese, and plenty of jalapeños! You could taste the ice cream in the shakes and they were almost too thick for the straws (not a bad thing in my opinion) and the Cap'n Crunch had plenty of cereal pieces in it. If you are driving on highway 2, make this a planned stop! Will definitely be back.

Vick's Burger Shack is must stop in the Sultan area. Since it's located right off of Highway 2, it's an ideal spot to stop by for a bite to eat before or after a road trip. Everything was fantastic here. We stopped by Vick's Burger Shack on the way to hiking, since it's near tons of trails. In fact, I spotted a few hikers when I visited, so it definitely gets business from those passing through. But I imagine the locals love Vick's too since the food was so delicious. Vick's Burger Shack is literally a shack that you order from a takeout window and either get takeout or dine at one of the outdoor tables at the back of the shack. There was parking in the back of the shack and a Honey Bucket with a portable sink. The menu featured different burger options, fry baskets, milkshakes, etc. No matter what you order from Vick's, the shake is not to be missed. I love thick, creamy milkshakes and that's exactly how it's served here! I ordered the turtle flavor, which was chocolate, caramel and cookies and cream and it was way better than I expected! So glad I tried this flavor. I also had a double cheeseburger with fries, and I liked that the burger was flame broiled, giving it that char taste. The fries were perfectly crispy. Delicious! Vick's Burger Shack is a perfect stop for road tripping. This casual eatery has juicy burgers, crunchy fries and milkshakes that are unforgettable. My only regret here was not getting the largest shake possible as was seen by the other patrons visiting here. They know what's up. Now I know.

Food taste was really good, but based on some of the pictures I saw beforehand I was expecting a massive burger. In reality it's more normal sized. I had the Jalepeno burger and it wasn't spicy at all but again taste was still great. They were out of the peanut butter milkshake so I had the Oreo and that was about as standard as it gets. Service was amazing, everyone was super friendly. Ambiance was good, it just really depends on where your expectations are - it's a burger shack right off the road so don't expect some kind of luxury experience

What an awesome burger Schack on the side of the road on way to Mt. Baker-Snoqualmie! Burger was delicious as was the fresh fries! But the most delicious of all was the Shake and I appreciate that it was offered in 12oz cup vice regular cup (20 oz). I had the salted caramel flavor and it was delightful and decadent! This place is known for their shakes even though the burgers are also very good homemade type burgers! Adding fresh fries to the mix only makes the experience of a roadside grub the best!

Great place to stop on our way back from bridal veil falls. The kid that took my order was so kind to fill up our water bottles. This little stand is super cute. We wanted ice cream after the hike. The milkshakes hit the spot. We had blackberry and chocolate peanut butter. Also ordered some fries with fry sauce and a lemonade. Everything was great and this place was cute. Loved the benches and tables that were outside.

Came here one afternoon after hiking at Wallace falls. This place is really good. They have tons of shake flavors. I tried their cheeseburger and fries and it did not let me down. It's a very small shop and just passing by you wouldn't think much of it. Their service is great. This will be my go to burger spot when I go to Wallace falls. They also have their own parking lot which is always great. They also have a drive thru. They have actual root beer on tap which is pretty cool. Theirs burgers are nice and juicy and not greasy at all. read more

I got the El Jefe and this was legitimately the best burger I've ever had. The beef was of the highest quality and perfectly cooked. This was my first time and it will not be my last. Wow. Oh man...Vick's did not disappoint! Literally just finished scarfing down our burgers on the way home after a long hike and day of golf! Friendly service ...slammed today 10/18...and we were told our burgers may take longer bc they are so busy, but they came in 5 minutes. My husbands name is Vic so we had to stop lol!! Come eat here! Burger was made fresh and it tasted great. Patty was nice and tender and the sauces that came with the fries were amazing. Proportions were a tad small but besides that, it's a great place to stop after your hike or during your road trip. There were benches off to the right for you to sit down and I loved the customer service. They charge for every single item you add on (onions, tomatoes, flavor shakes). I was not impressed with the service that I got at this place. When I arrived there were two cars in the drive thru lane. One was at the window and the other was waiting. I had time so I parked and walked up to the other window. They told me that they would be with me in a minute. I ended up waiting for both cars to be served and two phone orders to come in before I was even asked what I wanted. Normally I would have taken off but I was done with a hike and exhausted and I didn't want to leave without food. I never received an apology for the wait. Service = 1 Star. I ordered the Sante Fe burger. I would have ordered fries but I didn't want to give this establishment anymore money. The burger was fine. The chipotle sauce was good and the pepper on it was cooked amazing. Burger = 4 Stars I would go again only if I see that no one is waiting for food and there is no one in the drive thru. read more

I love the shakes here. My wife is allergic to eggs and last time I checked, they used dairy free ice cream. I had my hot to strawberry and she had the banana. She said it was the best shake she's ever had. Mine was def bomb too. Had a burger and fries and was exactly what I was hoping for from a burger shack. All and all a solid option!! read more

Though there is no vegetarian sandwich on the menu but they made one for my wife who is a vegetarian. She said it was the best vegetarian sandwich she could find at any restaurant. read more

Honestly, I'm a huge fan. And maybe this is because I just came down from a 7 mile hike in the snow and was ravenous, but I thought about it some more and truly enjoyed Vick's Burger Shack. We were a bit hesitant on the place as the reviews mentioned poor and slow service but that was not the case. They were friendly and quick to get our order and food. We also had about 5 other cars come in right after us and they were quick to serve us all. As I was eating this deliciousness, my friend and I talked about how gourmet burger shops truly lose the idea of what a burger should be. Don't get me wrong, I love my bougie burgers with truffle salt or a fried egg, but I also love a classic. This is exactly what Vick's is. If you're ever in the area, stop by and grab a bite. I got the double bacon cheeseburger and ate it in less than 5 min. The bacon itself was also delicious--none of that limp, thin bacon. It was thick cut and super crispy. The cheese was oozing, the onions and lettuce were fresh, and the bun was the perfect shape to hold it all in. I couldn't care for the fries (wish they has skinny ones!) My friend loved the onion rings. Next time, we'll definitely try a shake. Thanks, Vick's! Hope to be back again soon! read more

Love this place. It is the first stop on are burger adventures. Customer service was spot on. Great employees. Food is amazing, I stop by hear every time I pass threw Sultin if they're open. Wife and kids aproved. If your passing three on Hwy 2 give them a shot. We will be posting several burger joint reviews as we try several others over the next few weeks. read more

So I stop randomly for a burger, in a town I do not know cost. And this place pops up. I love taking chances on burger shop or burger shack. And I got to tell you this was one of the best burgers I've ever eaten in my whole entire life. And I am a cheeseburger connoisseur. Solid place! I was a little wary after reading some of the recent reviews, but I must say that I was impressed! I enjoyed a classic cheeseburger and small blackberry milkshake and shared a side of fries with the fam. We all liked our food - acceptable portion for the price and we'll made. The milkshakes were delicious, and it was fun to have so many flavors to choose from!! The only disappointments were the low stock of onion rings and a few other items, but that's understandable for the end of the day. There's not much seating around, either, but the few picnic tables were good enough for us! read more

My consort and I both had the Lumberjack Burger. Delicious. This burger is so perfectly constructed and well proportioned that every bite is the best bite of the burger. I can distinctly taste the beef, cheddar, grilled onions, and bbq sauce and it's wonderful. This burger is juicy and saucy yet easy to eat and not messy, thanks to skillful engineering. It comes wrapped neatly in a paper that is folded carefully so you can peel back the edge to eat it and not make a mess. And each wrapped burger is slipped into a little paper sack which is convenient without being wasteful and excessive. Recommend! read more

My favorite burger Joint in Washington! I love this place and how excellent the burgers are cooked! The shack sauce they use on their burgers is purely mouth watering! If you order some fries, you can also ask them to season them, and wow does that turn it up a notch.. If you like milk shakes, look no further. They have a lot of combinations! If you like root beer, they have "big E" root beer on tap. Which if you don't know it's a local brewing company! It's amazing. They also do floats! They have amazing service and with only 2-3 people working they are pretty speedy!! they deliver the same quality and tasting burgers everytime. Thanks VICKS BURGER SHACK! You rock! read more

It was hard to choose between the two burger drive-thru's next to each other in Sultan, but I definitely picked the right one. "Nick" greeted me with great energy and spectacular customer service during my order then running out to hand me my double cheese burger, fries and sauces. Then checking in with me as he ran out other's orders. The food was as great as the service, highly recommended! read more

The food is good. The staff could use some pointers: Answer the phone when people call in orders, don't take 20 minutes to make one burger, and finally make sure you make the order accurately. Love the food but work on the service. read more

Onion rings are crispy, not greasy, the burger and chicken burgers are super flavorful....love this place and the staff is awesome! The Shack is where us at! Just cause you imputed into computer which you claimed doesn't mean you can't walk back 5ft to the kitchen and change things for a customer. And with a glib response next he utters "well you can come back for it"! NOT HAPPENING DUDE! Meal comes and well it's no burger worth bragging about. McDonald's has more to offer in the way of taste. So my burger looks great and tastes like a shoe... I finished up and drove off disappointed I now have the drive of shame back to Seattle. What a rip cause I could have been eating chicken fried steak. Oh well that's my story about a meal down the tubes...

Strike 3: Pizza arrived GF but it was not the pizza ordered. Absolutely drenched in "balsamic" that had the taste, sugar content, and consistency of BBQ sauce Strike 4: We were charged a bill $24 higher than what we ordered. Waitress had to refund the card and redo the charge. Of note: it's also immensely hot in here. They've got a giant dewalt fan blowing and I'm still sweating bullets. All in all advise you go elsewhere

I had the chocolate bar later after our hike. It was sweet and fluffy, not too heavy since I had it with coffee. Then I had the German sausage for dinner. The sausage was actually spicy, not just a mild black pepper kind of American European spicy, but a real deal spicy. I loved it! Staffs in the bakery were very friendly and attentive too. I'm glad I got to support such a lovely local business. This place is a solid one.

And with a glib response next he utters "well you can come back for it"! NOT HAPPENING DUDE! Meal comes and well it's no burger worth bragging about. McDonald's has more to offer in the way of taste. So my burger looks great and tastes like a shoe... I finished up and drove off disappointed I now have the drive of shame back to Seattle. If you're looking for a quick and delicious bite to eat, Vick's Burger Shack is definitely worth a visit. With plenty of outdoor seating available on picnic tables, it's the perfect spot to enjoy a sunny day. Whether you walk up or drive through, the service is fast and efficient, even when they're busy. The smell of the food cooking will make your mouth water while you wait, and the prices are reasonable for the quality of the food. I tried the Oreo milkshake, which was pretty good - not overly Oreo-heavy, but still tasty. The French fries were a good portion size, but a bit bland on their own. Luckily, they had a bottle of cajun seasoning available, which really helped to add some flavor. The real star of the show, however, was the jalapeño burger. It was cooked to perfection, medium well and perfectly warm, with just the right amount of juiciness. The jalapeños were a bit on the pickled side, which made them less spicy, but the overall flavor was still delicious. Overall, Vick's Burger Shack is a great spot for a quick, delicious meal. The burgers and fries are delicious! Once our toddler son gets a hold of the bag of fries, we don't get them back. He'll throw a fit if he doesn't have them all to himself. We have to get our share out before we let him see the bag. I would like to see them use a bun that is of a better quality... more dense. The buns they use now just do not hold up to the juiciness of the burger. It makes for a soggy mess by the time you are half way through the burger. Perhaps a Cibata or Pretzel bun would work better. It is very hard to see whether they are actually open or not. The exterior lighting doesn't tell you, and the drive up window is always dark. Perhaps better lighting? The prices are a bit high for a small burger place, especially for a hot dog for the kid (outrageously priced!). I think they get enough volume to be able to lower their prices a bit. These guys where so nice! They were very polite and when I told them it was my first time there they gave one of every dipping sauce they had! It was so fun trying them all with my delicious onion rings. I had the mushroom Swiss burger as I always order that and it was tasty but slightly salty. The chocolate shake was to excellent as well. The food is not as great as most of the reviews suggest and it is VERY expensive. We felt we would've been better off if we had just hit up the McDonalds that was right up the road and probably would've saved $15. I wouldn't go back here again.
