Romelia's clients' skin looked incredible and glowing; while Nina showcased incredible braids and updos with client's naturally curly hair. Even before the trials, Alisa was incredibly helpful and guided me through recommended skin prep and helped me decide which hair extensions to get for a Hollywood wave hairstyle. Nina and Romelia were extremely helpful during my trials, helping me experiment and perfect all my looks for four separate events. This continued during the wedding week itself where both worked diligently to make me look and feel beautiful. They also did a fantastic job with the groom, and even if that is not the first thing people consider when selecting hair and make-up, I would not overlook it. They also followed us to each venue to help with touch-ups throughout the week, helping fix hair and makeup for not just us but our family as well. They are fun and warm people, taking away all the stress of getting ready and letting me relax. The rest of the team was incredible as well, with a special shout out to Shrini, who helped with draping and pinning my bridal veil. We had multiple family members comment on how thankful they were that we hired CBA to help take away all the stress of getting ready for them. We are very thankful as well and would highly recommend CBA to anyone looking for hair and make-up for their wedding.

I knew I was going to love mine, since I did a trial and Amy is so talented, but I wanted my mom and sisters to feel pretty too and would know if they didn't like how they looked!! Every single one of us felt amazing and loved our makeup! One of my sister's even hates makeup, never wears it on a day to day basis, and always hates how she looks when she gets it professionally done. After Amy did hers- she LOVED IT. Amy did the perfect job of listening to her say she wanted light and natural, and she made it happen so beautifully, which was really important to me that my family felt and looked good. She also did a stunning job on mom too, so MOB need to hire Amy!!! Could not recommend Amy more for your big wedding day! She was so easy and fun to work with and made us all look FAB!

My makeup looked natural yet knockout and completely flawless (even better than I could have imagined!). I will be coming back to Amy for all of my future makeup needs and you should too... you won't regret it.

If I could give ZERO stars, I would. Sonya Tisdel took my deposit, left town, did NOT perform the…read moreservices I contracted her to perform, and has refused to return my calls and e-mails. Sonya Tisdel of The Face Designer, and now, apparently, The Bridal Studio is a make-up artist that almost ruined my wedding in October 2008 in California (where she was previously working). I had a contract with her to perform make-up and hair styling services for me and my wedding party. She was also supposed to do a run-through on me. She never did the run-through. She moved out of state and ignored and refused to return my many calls, e-mails and letters. I had to scramble to find another make-up and hair team at over the price Sonya charged. Sonya took my $200 deposit , left town, and has refused to return my deposit. I can understand if life events change such that a move is necessary before a contract can be fulfilled, HOWEVER, there is NO excuse to run off with a client's deposit and not return phone calls or e-mails. I feel sorry for Sonya because she must be doing very poorly to have to abscond with a client's $200 deposit rather than return it. But, with her flakey attitude and unprofessional behavoir, I can see why she would be doing poorly in the first place. IN SUM: BEWARE BEWARE BEWARE. You do NOT need the added stress of dealing with someone as flakey and unprofessional as Sonya Tisdel on your wedding day. I only hope my experience will save someone else some pain and heart ache. UPDATE: After filing a Better Business Bureau complaint, Sonya has finally agreed to return my deposit. It only took 10 months and multiple attempts to contact her, but I guess better late than never.

We looked glamorous without looking over-done. I have never received more compliments on my make up in my life. Prior to arrival, she coordinated her services with the hairstylist and set up a schedule with our assigned times. She brought all of the necessary tools and products and was incredibly professional throughout the entire day. Some of us selected traditional makeup application and some selected airbrush makeup, but we all looked gorgeous when she was finished. Now, the makeup held up remarkably well. I was one of the first to get makeup applied (before noon), and before the night was over (well past midnight), I ate two meals, snacked, drank, took indoor photos took outdoor photos and danced (and sweat) for hours. I didn't have a chance to glance in a mirror the entire evening, and when I got home, I assumed that my makeup would be a melted mess, but it wasn't! My eyes still looked perfect - no creasing on my upper lids and the lash application had no lifting at the edges. The lips lost only a little color in the very center from all the eating and drinking. Blush looked fresh. The only part of the makeup that started to crease was my under eye area, but even that was minor. I was amazed. Thank you, Fallon! You brought out the beauty in all of us and helped to make my sister feel like a goddess on her wedding day.
