    Took over an hour for a lift and tint. Stylist did not ask what curl I wanted for the lift, just did her own thing and the result was very disappointing. She was also a "master stylist" which meant an up charge that was unspecified until check out. Would not recommend.

    Got my lashes done by Ashley for the new year. I got gorgeous style and am obsessed still. My tips, wash your lashes daily, I always wash with water and brush through. I got my brush at Walgreens, just a standard eyebrow brush with bristles. Ashley used a different type of glue than what I typically wear and my lashes stayed on for 3 weeks! It was amazing.

    If I could give 0 stars, I would. If you are looking to get your eyelashes done, steer away OR go, if you want damaged eyelashes and to be hung up on, multiple times. This place has not only done damage to my natural eyelashes but will not even refund me for the 6 credits that I have on file. 1st Photo - gaps of missing natural lashes 2nd Photo - this is how my natural eyelashes would fall out, in chunks.

    This is the Groupon I used. It has "EYELASH EXTENSIONS". It does not say a specific set.

    I decided to call and make an appointment. When I spoke with the manager she told me to not purchase the Groupon - take a screenshot and they will honor it at my appointment the next day. When I arrived I told the front desk what was discussed with the manager. They confirmed and said they saw the note documented in my appointment. I then ask what was the various tiers for cost. I was told the technician would share. We spoke for a while and decided on the look I wanted. 3/4 through the process the technician said "did anyone explain to you what I''m doing is going to be an additional $20 or $25"? I said no. She was then quiet and continued to apply the lashes. At completion, when I checked out the young lady at the desk was EXTREMELY rude. I showed her the Groupon I was going to use. She said my service was an additional $80. I expressed to her the Groupon does not say that and I was told an additional $20 or $25.00. She then called the manager and spoke very nasty about me. I then said, that's rude. I'm standing right here. The manager told her to honor the Groupon over the phone. I then paid $110 in which we agreed and I tipped the technician $20.00. The young lady that was rude was Caucasian and not nice at all. She was speaking in such a demanding way to the rest of the staff as well- VERY BOSSY. My Groupon NEVER said there were different prices. She kept saying it did. I pulled up the Groupon on my phone and showed her. She then said, WELL THERE ARE DIFFERENT PRICES. The front desk person shouldn't work there. She was rude and not welcoming at all.

    This was my first time getting lashes . The staff is very friendly , lobby is very simple And chic and my appointment started on time . The process took about an hour ..and I LOVE the look of my lash extensions . The hard part was to not get My eyes wet for to days after so the glue could dry . I've been back twice for touch ups and joined the monthly program which saves money and helps with upkeep

    Amazing lash studio offers a free fill in on lashes within a week for customers who need thicker lashes. Well I was a very disappointed and unsatisfied customer and still am. They scheduled me for a fill in and then cancelled my appointment. I'm done with the place. They were polite, but none of my issues were resolved. I booked with them because of all of their amazing reviews, just left to wonder why I'm not receiving the same curtesy as their other customers.

    WARNING: WENT TO MY FIRST APPT AND WAS TOLD TO GO HOME! THEY DID NOT HONOR THEIR ONLINE BOOKING AND EMAIL CONFIRMATION! MANAGER TOLD ME IT HAPPENS TO MANY PEOPLE- IM NOT THE FIRST. Waste of a whole week- go somewhere else to ACTUALLY get your lashes done. about 5 days ago I had booked online for this studio after calling and finding out there were no appointments for that day. I booked online, waited 5 days, a got an email confirmation (which is attached). and showed up 5 min before my appointment time. The first receptionist goes, oh you're here for your refill with Kayla? I said no... I'm here for the new intro full set. Here's the email confirmation. The receptionists said there wasn't an appointment for me at all and would see what they could do about it, I patiently waited for the manager to come out and the first thing she said was, "you should've gotten a follow up text message asking for your credit card, we're all booked today you cannot be seen. Want to come back tomorrow?" I didn't get any text- and how was I supposed to know I should've gotten a text? I'm a first time client and nowhere when I booked on my phone did it ask for credit card information, and the software even gave me an EMAIL CONFIRMATION. Since I showed up, doesn't that also imply I wouldn't have minded putting down my credit card information? She proceeds to review the online booking process on the receptionists' computer and I'm stuck there wondering what is there to prove. Her first instinct as a manager wasnt even finding ways to accommodate me for the appointment I showed up for, she was trying to prove there's a page that prompts you to enter your credit card- why does that matter right at this moment? Then one of the receptionists called the Lincoln park location and found they had an appointment for 50 minutes later. I said, how am I supposed to get there, pay for another Uber? And the manager said yes, there is nothing we can do for you here. And i told her "Why am I going out of my way to still give this company business, pay more, and waste more time?" I asked if there was anything she could do for this appointment mixup in terms of discounts. She says, "well you come all aggressive at me you didn't give me a chance to talk." The receptionist still on the phone with Lincoln park says they can only hold the appointment for 5 more minutes. And I said, "I hope you can understand what it's like to show up for an appointment after waiting for 5 days just to be told I can't be seen. At least a discount for my troubles would be right." And she goes" I can give 10%." And I said, "is there a voucher or anything? Or will I just have to take your word? If my email confirmation for something as serious as a whole appointment isn't valid, how can I trust your word?" She said, "what do you want me to do?" Forget this place. They didn't honor my appointment and much worse is that they weren't sorry or cared about customer service. I don't know why you expect me to continually stay nice and patient when you don't even apologize and try to make things right at all- something to compensate me for my time and keep my business. They could spell my last name for the Lincoln Park person on the phone which meant I was clearly in their system. I told the manager, "I hope this is a learning experience for you- if I was in the system you should've followed up by text instead of letting me assume my appointment for today was still valid while you gave up my slot." The disappointing part was she told me I wasn't the only one it's happened to, it's happened to many. To the owner and managers- Your company chooses the software, and with every software there are obstacles but it's on the company to make sure things are done right- if you want to ensure your time is not wasted by asking for credit card information, you should at least not waste time for people who show up as well. Had someone just checked the new bookings from the software at the end of each day and followed up with a simple text message, this could have been avoided for MANY people. I welcome a response from the owner, I'm over my anger and I just hope it doesn't happen to anybody else. But for me, im getting my lashes done elsewhere- Lucy's lash bar just accommodated me for today, AND as soon as I called I talked to Lucy herself. Can't tell you how excited I am to be dealing with the owner herself instead of a chain that can't even make their wrongs right.

And last yr when I went to LA with some gf's, one of them had it done regularly and I fell in love with her lashes. So she mentioned to me that its quite costly but well worth it and you have to really do your homework on the person that does it because not everyone that claims to know how to do it, KNOWS how to do it. So when I found this steal of a deal, I thought let me buy it and try it out...did some yelp research on Joan and liked what I read, so purchased it and waited to use it. Fast Fwd to Dec. 18... So I decided since my bday is the 19th, why not have my lashes done & looking purrty for the bday party I'm having on the 22nd. Scheduled my appt, and as it turns out, the location is a block away from my job which was perfect. Meet Joan and we exchange pleasantries and she explains what she will be doing, etc. Lay back and my lashes are in her hands. An hour later, I wake up ( I totally napped out) and she hands me a mirror and I look and am simply put: AMAZED at how wonderful and full my lashes look. I can officially say, I'm HOOKED. Definitely doing my touchup! JOAN KIM IS A GENIUS IN THE ART OF LASH EXTENSION! Highly recommend her.
