(Was called 10 Min before my appointment to say it'd be an hour longer and it was actually 2.5 hours wait) ; after having driven 30 min there! - only metered parking available - They assume your hair color selection instead of asking. The ultimate insult was I tipped the braider after she finished even after having to wait 2.5 hours longer than promised and having to remind her of the requested look (versus what she wanted to do instead- which required the others telling her to fix the first few braids), and she was EXTREMELY appreciative but one of the others quipped, it isn't even 20% in French. I can understand more in French so I can speak, so I QUICKLY responded to the commenter that, I was charged more than the price I was initially quoted even after waiting almost 3 hours so the difference in percentage was absorbed by both. Of course, they were shocked that I understood and pointed out the obvious. The one who said it, kept her head down and another said, your tip is appreciated because many people don't tip at all and you waited a really long time because the owner (my sister became sick and we were down a person).

This last time I went to good beauty for color and cut the stylist left me processing at the sink with my neck laying on a wet towel with chemicals and WITH IN hours my entire head and neck had broke out. I had to go to the emergency room to be seen with $1500 worth of medical bills for a chemical burn reaction. The owner acted as if she was going to have her Attorney reach out to me which she never did. Carla then stopped responding to any of my emails. I'm going to be taking them to small claims court to sue. I also filed a complaint reported them to the IDFPR agency. Did they give me a refund? Yes, as she should., This does NOT cover my medical bills. See you in court Carla.

With all that's going on in the area I get that. It appears there may only be 1 or 2 associates working. I knocked on the door and waited and waited. A lady reluctantly came to the door. After looking me up and down with a confused face she reached to unlock the door, but decided instead to talk to me through the glass. A very off-putting experience that I suspect "varies". Having owned a full service salon and day spa for several years I know the importance of moments that matter. I was certainly profiled and won't be returning.

You know the saying "good things come to those who wait?" - this was the case! When I walked in, I was immediately greeted and asked to get my temperature taken. There was also plenty of the best smelling hand sanitizer by the door. I knew right away it was going to be a pleasant and very safe experience. Then I was introduced to my hairstylist Mitra and I just knew I'd be coming back more frequently than my typical annual visit. COVID aside, I'm the worst at getting my hair cut since I prefer it to be long and wear it in a bun almost always anyway. Well, Mitra started brushing my hair to get an idea of what I wanted, and it turns out, she can read minds! She suggested I get longer layers and sort of a 'face frame' - all while accommodating my daily up-do and the length I preferred. She literally took the words out of my mouth before I asked her what I wanted. After the most soothing hair wash with a beautiful floral arrangement to fall into a trance to, she got started and NAILED IT! Let me also mention that she carries such a lovely conversation. It made me feel like a good friend was cutting my hair - I loved it. To wrap it up, I absolutely loved my hair cut and I clearly can't say it enough. If you want someone to mind your curls and give you exactly what you want, MITRA'S YOUR GAL. Thanks again Mitra and the Oko Team!

This is the type of place where you can find that one of a kind unique color or mix of colors to suit your personal style. Yes we let with four wigs, two jewelry sets..and the prices were better then we have in seen in other places. Go talk to those kind ladies and tell them what you're looking for.... Happy shopping
