This salon is so cute inside and they accept walk ins! Kevin was really gentle with my nails and worked very quickly. He made sure to check under my nails and file a lot. I liked that he didn't rush it. I got almond shaping and it was a bit crooked but he tried his best to get the shape right for me. He lays the acrylic down quite thin (which is usually a good thing) but I wasn't sure how sturdy it would hold up. Pro tip for nail salons in general: Bring cash! They have a huge selection of colors and do ombré nails here as well, I just got a solid color and total came out to be $43 since I paid with cash. **It's been a week since I've been here and I notice my acrylics are cracking at the tips since the layer of acrylic was too thin :-( I'd recommend this salon, maybe I'll ask him to lay down more acrylic next time. read more

As I was checking out and asked the man behind the desk to give me some change for my $20 so I could tip my technician he made a comment about the money and me going to bed with him. This inappropriate comment made uncomfortable enough to not want to go back. My gel polish only lasted 5 days which suggests to me it was not properly applied. In Jan I went to Sonnie for French tip. He did a terrible job so I said wipe off the tips I'll walk out with just the base color. But my pedicure was amazing by someone else there. It's now June , I haven't been back since - I remembered I had a good pedicure but completely forgot about my experience with Sonnie. I had him again this time . Asked for French tips again .and then he reminded me why I didn't come back. He failed at a simple French tip again. I wanted thin French tips. I told him 3 nails in they were uneven. He fixed it by making them thicker. I settled with thick and let him move to the next hand. It was even more uneven and extra thicker . I told him u know o wanted thin French right . He said why would u wait till I finish all 10?? Well, I wanted thin but u were struggling so I was willing fo accept them semi thick when he finished the first hand. But he made it even worse the second hand . He had an attitude and took off the French tip . Said I'll keep the base color, but he left white paint all over did a terrible job cleaning it off . Made me pay $55. Then I told a girl there after I paid to just take everything off . Since the shape was bad as well. I was willing to settle but I'm so I pleased I'm going somewhere else . Tried to give them place a chance . But two times in a row with Sonnie who can't do a basic French tip. I'm leaving the shop with bare nails just how I came . However, a couple of days ago, I got a regular manicure here for the first time and it's quite possibly the worst manicure I've ever received. Seated us right away after we arrived for our appointment, but only one person is specialized in dip nails and acrylic, so when I came with my friend, they said one of us would have to get gel or we would have to wait for the other the finish for acrylic. I ended up getting dip, but the nail artist was unable to do the original design I showed, so instead i asked for 5 different colors (which they did upcharge for). Towards the end, it felt like my service was rushed and i didn't get proper cuticle treatment or arm massage with lotion that my friend received. I am absolutely disgusted with this shop. First of all, they had the audacity to over charge me. When I mentioned he was over charging me, he says "fine" and cuts five dollars off..... (not the point buddy) They RIPPED my natural off, removing old acrylics by using a fake nail. (I have NEVER had this happened) I said multiple times how much it hurt, and I had to instruct the guy to SOAK my nails. (Getting your nails done should NOT be painful). By the time the second guy got to working on my nails, he was okay... minus the fact that In between getting my nails done, he's watching some video on his phone so he's not accurately paying attention to detail. But I was! So when I corrected him, to let him know he put more coats of dip on one nail than the other, he tried to tell me I was wrong.. when I held my hand up to SHOW AND PROVE that he CLEARLY double coated one nail over the others, he gets frustrated shaves off my nail and tells me "fine. Stop talking" I looked at him and said, "stop talking" The ladies who did my toes were amazing!! I'm really really disappointed In the men that work here. I've given so much money to this shop and have always tipped more than the norm (they're well aware). I drive all the way out from Danville because I've always been content. Not anymore. read more
