As I started to work, I was approached by a girl and asked if I would like to order anything and told her that I would be purchasing something in a little bit as I had just eaten and was very full at the moment. A very short time later, she approached me again and tells me that I have been sitting here for 20 minutes (definitely did not seem like 20 minutes) and I have to order something or leave because Starbucks has changed its policy. As someone who has spent their entire career in the food, beverage and customer service industries, I suggest, #1 If the new policy is not posted somewhere in the store then staff should kindly inform guests. Not time people and tell them how long they have been there and told to leave if the do not order something. #2 The new policy should have been politely and respectfully conveyed the first time she approached me. Please train your employees the proper way to inform guests of new policies, how to politely and respectfully speak to customers and exactly what customer service is.

The specialty cold brew and lattes were amazing as usual. Also will occasionally get a sausage sandwich or a baked item. The cake pops for the kids were good but the blueberry Muffin was a bit dry. Not sure if this is a change across Starbucks, just this location, or a covid issue, but the sandwich was smaller (closer to a McMuffin size), did not taste as good as usual, and more greasy. I had others I picked it up for and they agreed these are not to the quality we are accustom to. The service was great and drinks are handed over in coffee mugs to minimize touch points. The location is nice as there is not another Starbucks near the area. The layout is not very good for drive through. Cars can block entry and exits. If your not familiar with where the drive through starts and the surrounding parking lot dead ends it can cause traffic issues. All this said I still go for the coffee and tea.
