I just moved here from Chicago and have been a loyal Starbucks customer for over 20 years. I visited the 41st location to do some work after a large meal with my family. As I started to work, I was approached by a girl and asked if I would like to order anything and told her that I would be purchasing something in a little bit as I had just eaten and was very full at the moment. A very short time later, she approached me again and tells me that I have been sitting here for 20 minutes (definitely did not seem like 20 minutes) and I have to order something or leave because Starbucks has changed its policy. As someone who has spent their entire career in the food, beverage and customer service industries, I suggest, #1 If the new policy is not posted somewhere in the store then staff should kindly inform guests. Not time people and tell them how long they have been there and told to leave if the do not order something. #2 The new policy should have been politely and respectfully conveyed the first time she approached me. Please train your employees the proper way to inform guests of new policies, how to politely and respectfully speak to customers and exactly what customer service is. read more

I generally LIKE but not love Starbucks. The coffee is alright, but I would not come to the drive through. I actually prefer 7 Eleven coffee to Starbucks coffee (Have you tried their blueberry coffee?!). What I do go to Starbucks for when I do go is to sit and enjoy a hot drink while I hang out on my computer. That said, they don't put the heat up enough in the winter, the music is too loud, and the workers were kind of loud too. I know you can't please everyone, but I do feel a little patronized when I ask for a medium coffee and the barista says, "oh, you mean 'Grande'?" Um no, I'm not Spanish, but I do know that Grande in Spanish means 'Large', so calling your midsize cup a [large] is weird. *rant over* But like the others said, the employees are nice and they know what they're doing. read more

We waited in line for a few extra minutes and when we got to the window the barista (possibly the manager) apologized for the wait. It's Starbucks, meaning free Wi-Fi and sit as long as you like without anybody bothering you. (Always a plus.) Location is fine, and the music is generally pretty decent not that they have control over that anyway. Minor complaint is that some of the baristas engage in a bit too much political debate. I understand the time of year and everything, but those views are usually best left at home. Good tea, everyone is friendly, and it doesn't take three years to get what I've ordered. Very small seating area inside the cafe, a decent sized patio outside, but they do have a drive-thru to make up for it. My orders have been 95% on the button, and when something is off, they never hesitate to fix it and with a smile! I'm definitely more of a drive-thru connoisseur, and they never judge my bedhead. They might be overpriced to some people, but they never get it wrong and they're always nice. Open until 11pm, which is a very pleasant surprise. My only complaint is that there's no way to know what sort of baked goods are inside from the drive-thru. And I'm not all about asking the baristas to list everything for me. Today was BOGO after 3 pm. Girl says "sorry the Starbucks coupon system is down" So you can't just charge for one and comp the second? "No we've called corporate nothing we can do sorry." My wife and I have just spent $10 for two drinks , which is normally fine for a Starbucks drink but both of ours were cold mine was only half-full and is the worst Starbucks I have ever had. When I tried to call to speak to someone the phone just rang and rang. I am calling the number that comes up for the establishment, I do not know who runs this place but they need to definitely take a look at their employees ability to complete a simple task. The service at this Starbucks is so poor that even though it is closer to me I go to other area stores to avoid this location. They each have their own station or assignment and don't leave it regardless. On the last visit I was greeted, but then stood there waiting while 4 people were doing other things. One stood in front of me and made whipped cream rather than waiting in me. There was a line behind me too! After about 5 minutes (it felt longer) I just left. It's too bad because I few years ago it was very organized and customer service oriented, it's really gone downhill. read more

We waiting for 15 mins at drive through for one coffee/late. No there was no lines. We waited at the window. It seems like they were short staffed. The whole point of drive through is in and out. Not happy with this location. I don't blame the employee as I am sure they were doing their best. It's the manager who should have properly staffed the place. read more

A few peeps working here are good but you have to go in and hope they are there and make your drink. Probably the worst Starbucks I've ever experienced. Went thru drive thru and ordered one drink and told the girl to reload my Starbucks card for $20 and she handed me a receipt to sign for a $40 reload! I told her I said $20 not $40 and she said she'd change it but that now because of her mistake, the $40 will still be taken out of my account! She said it may take a few days to get straightened out and to get put back. In future, make sure they repeat back to you the amount you tell them! read more

Traveling through Moline we stopped here for me to get my morning coffee fix. They were super busy, but moved efficiently through everything. The barista I spoke with inside was friendly and chatted with me the whole time. The store was immaculate. While I prefer Biggby (I'm a Michigan girl), I settle for Starbucks when I can't get the B. I really like the coffee here, that's not the issue. It's the snotty young/middle aged girls who work here. They are very rude and nonchalant to customers. Every single time I've came here someone has walked past the register and not even told me "hold on I'll be with you in a moment" or anything of that sort and I've just stood there waiting. They need some curtsey, that's all. I personally would rather go to Coffee Hound and get great coffee AND great service! read more

I love Starbucks, but no matter how many times I try this location I'm always disappointed. I order the same thing every time, but at this location it is always weak/watered down, lukewarm, and sometimes half full. The Starbucks in Davenport (right across the river) does a much, much better job. And the service is better there too! read more
