The latter is a bit of a surprise, and the taste is an extra kick (ginger beer?) that makes less beer-y but more cocktail'y. The rest of the drinks are mainly beers, frozen drinks, martinis, and cocktails. There are mocktails available for the non-alcoholic folks and a decent wine selection for people who aren't feeling the sangria. Pro-Tip: Happy Hour goes from 12pm-9pm. That's nine hours of easy drinking bliss. Food wise, I would venture their menu is more international than it is basque. Spanish tapas are certainly available here but they have pastas, pizzas, and sandiwches that are a solid complement to the drinks. Anything with their imported Iberico Ham is a safe be and the paella is extremely filling. The weekends can get pretty crowded and on some days they rock football / soccer matches. Bank on the friendly service (which is never a guarantee in HK) and do yourself a favor and indulge in their weekday happy hour and/or discounted brunch (30% off!).

Second, on arrival we were tucked in the back and largely ignored despite a costly "bottomless" champagne package. Third, servers were overworked and sparse, with the lone entree so protracted that we were told Dessert Buffet was going to close before savories even arrived. Finally, forced to leave mere seconds after finishing, we opted against remaining for fireworks. Ozone's apology was to come back for a free drink sometime...from America. Seemingly a partnership, as the Hotel and Bar refer to one another as separate entities, The Ritz-Carlton did try to make up for all this with a free bottle of Champagne delivered to the room but at $450USD for lousy food and dreadful service Ozone is an embarrassment to the Ritz-Carlton Brand.

Even we have a bit problem to ask them over for ordering. The preparation time for the food is also very long time compared to other hotel restaurants. The good side is the portion and taste. Portion is huge, and taste is good. They also didn't remind us for complimentary tea or coffee. By the time we finished, there were lots of people for afternoon tea or drinks. Follow up with the complaint on the service and the preparation food time, the manager invited us back to the Lobby Lounge for afternoon tea. This time by far way better than yesterday lunch experience. The table was set up properly with 6 seats. The manager also serves us personally during the whole time. We feel welcome this time. Just right if you missed lunch! Good choice of teas, I like the strong tie kwanyin. And service is excellent, attentive but not intrusive. Best part is the view out to the harbor or in to the people. That day the Hong Kong Tourist Bureau junk sailed across and back. Shangri La and the other hotel at the end of the promenade have the best and most frequent views of this ubiquitous junk. My cab dropped me off nearby and a passerby was able to help me find the exact building. The venue is absolutely gorgeous. The musicians played a range of hits that appealed to a broad audience (which was great because there was a little of everyone in the room that evening). The servers were attentive and kind, and their service had a personalized touch which I really appreciated, especially since I had just landed in the country barely 2 hours prior and didn't know a soul there. The staff really made me feel welcome and helped set the tone for the rest of my visit to Hong Kong. I saw lots of gorgeous cocktails adorning tables around me, but I was there for the prosecco.
