First time in... I was obviously with someone new I was fine at first until my toes were uneven. The water was cold... the manager or someone finally came over and painted and tried to square and fix them... the new person then proceeded. Starts the massage.... Then put cuticle oil on my exfoliated legs!!!! They started to burn and when I looked down and realized what happened and told her she just started at me!!!! I turned the water on trying to wash it off the other ladies got up to help. I said thank I'm done. She said oh 20$ off cuz the massage didn't happen. Ok what about my chemical burnt leg. I miss this place so much. I moved 5 months ago and was inspired to write this review after having constant issues with my new place. Cowboys is the BEST. I came over from Diamond Nails because I couldn't handle how crowded it felt. Cowboys is comfy and friendly, with room to breathe. Best of all they do great work. I've gotten acrylics and dip from them, and both were great - looked nice and held up wonderfully. Also they give you the option to wrap your nails rather than soaking in acetone, which saves your cuticles. The one time I broke an acrylic (my fault) they fixed it right away for free. I tried a bunch of different shapes and thicknesses, just experimenting, and they did a great job. There's rarely a wait, and if there is they will TELL YOU THE TRUTH unlike other nail bars where they say "just a few minutes" then you wait for an hour. The owner is the nicest guy, recognizes everyone on sight, and recommends TV shows. I also came here right before having surgery asking for nude short nails that would last a few weeks and everyone was so kind to me - they told me to call and tell them how I was doing! Eyebrow waxing gone terribly!! I have been going to this place for months to get my eyebrows waxed as the front desk lady always does fabulous at them. This time, my experience was entirely different. There was a different woman performing the eye brow waxing. She was an older blonde headed lady. I asked her to lightly trim my ends and clean up around my eyebrow. She proceeded to wax off the entire end of my eyebrow leaving me with barely a tail. She then proceeded to gaslight me into thinking that my eyebrows were that short prior to coming in. She also left the wax on way too long and now the red areas have turned into bruising underneath my eyebrow. Do not let her wax your brows unless you want to fill them in for the next month with makeup. read more

Called back the next day to report to manager that my feet we still dry with all the white dry lines on toes and heels. Told him he should not put Koi on pedicures bc he seemed embarrassed? Afraid? to give a leg massage or scrub the feet. I only figured out he had done the massage when he turned his timer off. OH BOY!!!! I treat myself to this 2x a year and have never had such a BAD PEDICURE. The manager said come back in. This time he redid it and was NO BETTER. It's not about the customer it's about the upsell. If I could leave 0 stars I would. I've given them more than one chance to make things right but every time is a new issue or excuse. The colors NEVER match when they should. If you allow them to cut your real nails, they cut them right then file the hell out of them, leaving them too short. When you tell them that they have filed your nails too short, they say, "Oh, sorry. Maybe you wait two weeks and they grow back." When I told them I didn't feel like o should pay full price, they said, "See you. Thank you." Do not use this nail studio if you actually need your nails to look nice. In this area, there are so many places that it seriously makes no sense that they are so rude. The wife of the manager is absolutely unprofessional. She looked at me and said, "Colors are never 100%. It's just that way." In all fairness, I thought maybe it was a bad day the first two times. But this was it. Not only did they mess things up but I told them and they basically said... Back in the end of October 2020 I decided I was done driving 30+ min to the salon I was going to. I felt like I couldn't trust anyone with my nails or stick to just one person. I found this place right across the street and thought I would give it a shot. I walk in, I'm greeted nicely and immediately sat down with a nail tech. There are plenty of TVs to watch, it's very sanitary and they even offer free drinks!! After rotating nail techs in that store over a couple weeks, I found my favorite! Tony is AMAZING. I decided to try and fully grow out my real nails under NexGen powder over the next few months, I like my nails a little longer anyway. Tony is so precise in his work and always takes his time. The first time the gentlemen from the front desk said they were too busy and to come back another day not later another day and months later I tried again, and was turned away from the same person saying they were about to close (40 mins before actual time) and all I needed was a toe nail polish, which takes 5 mins. I've been here a couple of times, this was definitely my last. Michelle did these nails, took her two and a half hours. After patiently waiting and paying $60 for I go outside and have a look at them and notice it looks like a kindergartner could've done a better job drawing stars not to mention she didn't even add a top coat on my thumb. I came in 30 min before closing, not realizing their hours had changed from being open till 10 and now 8 on Saturdays. Originally they only had time for a pedicure but a nail tech finished early and offered to do my hands as well. The guy who did my pedicure was great, great massage and great paint job! He took his time and I didn't feel rushed at all. The woman who did my hands was also great and didn't make me feel rushed. I really liked the customer service I received when arriving, during and at check out. The facility was very clean and they had a wide variety of polishes. The lady that did my nails was really rude and was talking about me in another language and if you ask "well how do you know" the man that was working on my sisters nails turned and looked at me and laughed. Worst manicure of my life. I got 13 cuts on my fingers from the technician -- that's more than one per finger. My fingers were covered in blood. She was not gentle and continued to file over the cuts she made. I had to bite my tongue when she would put chemicals over it during the manicure. She did not apologize for hurting me. It caused issues with my fingers for the next two weeks. I do not have sensitive skin and never have gotten cuts during any other manicure. I paid for nextgen dip and asked for a matte color, but got glitter. The shape looked so stupid, the oval shape was wider than my nailbed. Do not under any circumstances go here. read more

I have been going to this shop for 2 years. Leon is always polite and helpful (he is the manager). His wife Tram usually does a good job on my nails with the powder dip. I was in 2 days ago for my nail appt. To me, it was hot in the shop. Leon usually plugs in a small fan for me, but he wasn't in yet. I asked Tram if I could use the fan. She ignored me for a while, then said "when my husband is here, (pointed to his empty chair) he can pamper you, but not me. " After a couple minutes, she got up, rushed around to find the little fan for me. I told her thank you. I want you here for the first time today and let me tell you not happy. First of all their prices are overpriced but that's fine if I get great service. I got the classic pedicure. It's supposed to be a 10 minute massage I probably got a three minute massage or less. The lady did my pedicure so fast I don't even know if she even removed any cuticles, I've never gotten a such a fast pedicure in my life. But if you're in a rush this is definitely the place to go. And then on top of it all I kept getting asked if I want a manicure which I had already said no to 4 or 6 times, and throughout my pedicure she kept asking me if want color or gel. And I told her no I want the color that I gave you (said that like 3 times). And then she tried to get me to get my eyebrows waxed.... why can I just enjoy my pedicure and not have to get sold on a bunch of stuff and when I say no it's a no and you don't have to ask me a different way multiple times.
