Worst nail salon I've ever been to. Appointment was made, we had to wait. The nail tech who did my nails had no clue what she was doing. Couldn't perform a basic French. To top it all off my nails started to fall off day three. Save your time and money. read more

Terrible customer service and terrible work. I would never go here if you want a relaxing experience.

Horrible, HORRIBLE experience at this nail bar. Was on time to my 11 am appointment- confirmed everyone would have a nail tech as we were a larger group. How is it that I waited 2 1/2 hours for a nail tech?... Embarrassing lack of customer service on the managers part, and not to mention, the cleanliness of the spa as well. The only redeeming part was how amazing Jason was, granted the whole situation was not his fault. My mom had GelX for the first time, and her technician, Vina, could not do a french nail on her, which is arguably the easiest design to do. Our appointment was Sunday morning and on this Wednesday she had 2 nails fall off, not putting pressure on them or anything. just popped off. Now they are refusing to refund although the service was not performed correctly. She ended up paying 70$ for a basic gel x and mine cost 110... for a french with chrome. Big scam when you could see a small nail tech for about 50 dollars less. Absolutely disappointing, do not waste your time here unless you're looking for service that lacks and a poor quality set. read more

I'm glad I gave this place a chance after reading the reviews. They did a fantastic job on mine and my daughter's nails last week. We came back for a pedicure today and did not disappoint. The salon is clean and bright, the techs are friendly, and they overall do a great job! read more

If I could give zero stars I would. I first asked for dip powder nails, and the guy doing my nails said he has a technique that's faster, stronger, and only costs $5 more...I said no. He then said he can't make my nails last long if i'm going to do dip powder and I said I will try acrylic another time, but I want dip powder. He then proceeded to do acrylic on my nails, I asked if it would cost more and he said no. He then proceeded to fall asleep while doing my nails. His excuse was it was a sunday afternoon and he stayed up all night over the weekend. I have never cried from getting my nails done but I absolutely bawled my eyes out and payed $80 for nails that I DESPISED. I was prepared to pay $60 at most but 80?! The guy was very rude and super inconsiderate. Please listen to the other reviews and go somewhere that treats customers like people and not like a piggy bank. read more

I have a great experience at this place! I'm happy with the job they mad nails and pedicure. thank you !

Won't ever come back here. Walked in and a family of 4 was in front. While they were advising of services they had three more people come in with them. When I steeped up to the counter the lady asked what I needed. And said they were busy and can't help me. Horrible customer service. Looks to also be short staffed a day before the holiday. First impression is the last! read more

Great service at reasonable prices. They do need to do a little bettering keeping their website up so appointments can be made.

Honestly, less than impressed. Only came here because I had a gift card, went to use the gift card, and was told there was no balance. Whatever, paid in full and tipped. Wasn't asked if i wanted a receipt or if everything was okay with the services, the front desk person simply just walked away. Staff was hovered around another employee who was getting their nails done, seemed more occupied with that. Pretty salon but lacked customer service and quality. Wouldn't recommend. read more

Quick and a great service. Had nexGen dip. I was not charged extra for silly ad-ons, nor was I pressured into more expensive services that I didn't ask for. The salon was super busy but they were still able to get me in. The tech did a great job, my nails were a consistent thickness and length. The tech also did the service without getting product all over my hands! She cleaned up under my nails and I didn't have to ask! (The last salon I went to had my hands looking like I played in mod-podge! The product was caked up under my nails and along the sides and cuticle area. It was a mess! The salon was called Bellagio.) I left Aria with great looking nails and clean hands! Almost two weeks later my nails haven't cracked or lifted. read more

I've had pretty good service here for several years. As one reviewer posted, there are hidden charges that they do not mention. Also, when not with a client, the males that work there are very loud and carry on annoying conversations with each other. They never go to the back, they just yap with each out her, loudly, in the front of the store or wherever. It is so annoying. As one client said to me, "They need to shut up!" read more

Dishonest pricing! adds on $5 or $10 extra charges and think you won't question why. They claim it's for length or color but the posted price is never what they will charge you. check your receipt and make them accountable. They lost a loyal customer for dishonest practices. And when I showed both receipts for the same treatment with different prices they refused to make it just. read more

I had come in to get dip nails fixed due to them smudging and the lady at the front was beyond RUDE AND UNFRIENDLY. She had a scowl look on her face and acted like I was bothering her. At least I'm not the only person she did this to, She was having a scowl look and her vibe was off-putting. She told me they cannot fix it when I literally came to get it fixed with no problem, that was a month ago now things have changed. She told me to go back to the other nail place where I got my nails done but I refused and demanded them to fix it. Stay away from Vina and DO NOT go here. Go anywhere else but here. read more

Stopped in for a mani and pedi. Waited about 15 mins but they didn't look too crowded. Anyway no big deal. The technician started my mani and was very rough with the cuticle cutters from the get go. She nicked my finger on my right hand and it bled a little but then she got me hard on the left hand and it bled a lot. They didn't have any alcohol or bandaids. I went to my vehicle to get both. I decided to stop the services completely as I was nervous the next cut would be even worse. Went home and got the antibiotic ointment after soaking finger in alcohol. Staph infections happen a lot from nail salon mishaps. Be careful! Needless to say I won't be returning. All nail salons need alcohol wipes, antibiotic ointment and bandaids on hand. read more

Aria Nail Bar - This is AFTER I wiped it a couple times. Hurt for a full week. - Nail Salons Near Me - McKinney, Texas

Terrible! Used to be my favorite place but loyalty is obviously not important to them at all! I had an appointment with the same girl I always use but they said someone else came in and asked for her so can someone else do my nails? Really??!! I'm the one who had an appointment! What good are appointments if you're gonna do this??!! I will NEVER return. I really loved the girl who did my nails but the manager guy needs to take a course in customer service. He's very much lacking to put it nicely. I might add the last time my niece came with me the guy who did her nails did a horrible job so that's another reason why I didn't want anyone else doing my nails. read more

Technicians took almost 2 hours to do my nails. How? I've never had nails take this long and look so bad. No wait, not crowded. She was very sweet, but I don't think she knew what she was doing. She passed me off to another person halfway through. All I wanted was next-gen coffin shaped. It's what I always get. They tried to pass off a skinny square tip as coffin. But then kept filing my nail down shorter ‍ This was a gift as I do not live in McKinney. They then proceeded to tell me that my gift card had no money on it! They are scam artists and thieves. Not to mention poor nail technicians. So sad. Take a look at my nails. This is awful. read more

I have been going to Aria for few years and have never had anything but wonderful service. I sincerely believe it is because of my wonderful nail tech Snow. She has been the only nail tech that listens and spends hours to make my nails perfect. I am Extremely picky when it comes to length, width and the cuticles , must be perfect or don't even bother! She is just so detail minded and never fails to amaze me! I brought many friends as new clients to her and they all love her work. She is like family! My 11 year old looks forward to getting her pedi done by Snow and her only! Every time I come here I feel extremely welcomed and taken care of by Snow. The atmosphere is relaxing with soft music in the background, no nasty chemical smells since it's a natural spa, and lots of services to choose from. If you haven't been here yet, what are you waiting for? Come book my girl Snow and order a Tequila Sunrise, your welcome :) read more

Aria Nail Bar - Nexgen 288 I believe - Nail Salons Near Me - McKinney, Texas

Aria Nail Bar in McKinney...well, I really debated about writing a review, as it seems people usually take the time to write negative ones. The pros: nice, clean, "upscale", lots of choices for colors. The techs Ive had for nextgen are really good and fast. Ok, here are the cons: be prepared to be up charged for things you aren't up charged for at other salons. If you want anything but plain, old school square nails, then that's an up charge. Want the corners slightly rounded, "oh, that's coffin shape"...um, NO, it's not. Do your nails extend ANY past the tip of your finger? 1 mm? Oh, that's extra charge for long nails. I get paying extra for special finishes, design, etc...But not what should be standard requests. Aria, please, change your policies/attitude...well, mainly attitude. Maybe then you won't lose yet another (formerly loyal) customer. read more

I have been coming in for awhile now and have noticed that there are weird fees on my receipt. I have no issue with paying the price to get my nails done but it is annoying that I am being charged for my real nails/length and shape. My nails are long and the shape is almond. All they do is file my nails when I come in but charge me to file my nails. At this point I will have to find somewhere else to go. read more

I've been going here for 6 months now. Facilities, customer service, and services available get 5 but.... Every visit is an odd fee for this or that. Be ready to drop $$ on length, shape, etc.. I.E., I usually get dip nails, and it gets removed so it's dip for dip. The last time I wanted acrylic nails for a wedding, I needed the length. They removed the dip- but charged me for removal. I paid $50 for nails, which is $10 more for acrylic vs if I had just had her do dipping powder on the nail. I feel that since I got an equivalent service, actually more expensive my dip removal should have been free. It's free when you do dip to dip. Then I got charged $15 for the design in the picture but honestly the lines were not crisp as what I wanted. The gold was off. But I'm not one of those people that will insist on perfection. At the end of this visit I paid $75 for normal acrylic nails with okay design. Plus a $30 pedi, plus tips. $115 out the door. Might as well go gelX . I need to find a new place to go because they do charge for many other little things. read more

Got a pedicure with Nicky and she was fantastic! The place itself is so cutely decorated and calm. Will definitely be back.

I walked in. Was seated and waited and waited and waited. No one bothered to acknowledge the wait or even offer something to drink. There seems to be no organization as to who goes next. There is staff walking around but again not a single person acknowledged my wait. Would not recommend this place. read more

So The first time I went to this nail bar my experience was okay because I got a nail tech who was rushing me and also going extremely rough on my nail beds I explained to her to please stop going so roughly because three of my nails was bleeding she said OK but disregarded me and still continue to do so I didn't want to dictate this of me not coming back so I came back about three weeks later got a pedicure and specifically told one of the ladies in the front I will kindly wait for someone else I do not want the same nail tech I had last time I waited there for two hours and she gave me the same nail tech that I specifically asked her not to give me I will not be showing up to this establishment again please work on your customer service skills thank you. read more

My best friend and I treated ourselves to pedicure at this new nail salon. The service and nail techs were so nice and professional and when we asked for more pressure during our foot massage; and they made sure we were satisfied with our service. So after continuing to go here for a while I've noticed that that customer service has gone DOWN HILL FAST! After canceling an appointment without notice, I've been very reluctant to never returning to this place. I really like the pedicures but this may not be enough to make me keep returning. Not to mention they have went up in price and removed some of the services with each pedicure. This is just a shame. read more

Walked in for dipping on nails! No plexi glass partitions & I should have left. Another lady came in after me & should she no partitions & the girl said no & she left. Smart lady! My girl killed my cuticles but did an ok job on my nails. She had a runny nose, got up & went over to counter to blow her nose, DID NOT wash her hands, brought the dirty Kleenex back to our table & laid it next to her cell phone which was across my from phone. Gross, gross, gross. She wore her mask on her chin, not covering her mouth or nose. Her nose was red & she kept sniffling. I was disgusted. I went home & took a shower. 5 days later I tested positive for COVID-19. The very LAST THING I NEEDED. She had long black hair fixed on top of her head with silvery accept colors in her hair. I will never go back there. My husband brought our friends there because it looked so clean. Not anymore! read more

This was my first visit to this nail salon after the previous salon I had visited closed down without warning; I saw Aria's "Grand Opening" sign hanging up and thought I would give them a try. Upon walking in to the salon, I was pleasantly surprised by how beautiful and comfortable it was; the decor is very elegant and the lighting - gorgeous! It was not very busy so I didn't have to wait longer than a few minutes to have someone start working on my nails. They offer a margarita machine with several types of frozen margaritas, and also other types of alcohol along with water and soft drinks. My nail tech was Jenny, who was very pleasant and friendly. She was gentle with my nails, as I get NexGen powder on top of my real nails (no tips). I was in and out in just under an hour which was a nice surprise! I got a glitter ombré which looked absolutely beautiful when she was finished with them. However... Just three days later, all of my nails started getting air pockets/bubbles underneath and several of my nails started feeling very tender. One nail began to develop an infection. All of the nails started lifting up and I was so disappointed, because I had such a great experience and loved the way they looked. If the nails would have lasted and I would not have experienced the lifting/infection/air bubbles, I would have given Aria Nail Bar 4 or 5 stars. However, my nail health is extremely important and the infection was very painful; I cannot say that I would feel comfortable returning to this nail salon due to those issues. read more
