This is a spacious typical family styled restaurant. Valet parking in front. Bar upon entry with small snacking area. Up some steps and it's a huge finding space for large of small groups. And in the right a semi private party space. Further towards the back is another open finding space, classic brick walls and glass. The food was a decent portion. Had to take extras home. Delicious, everything tasted how it should. Service was timely and friendly from staff. A nice family styles restaurant, I'd go again.

Amazing place! Service was great and the food was delicious! I added pictures of what we ordered for dinner!

    Polpo

This place is hit or miss. I had the Polpo which was really good. 10/10 The Zuppa De Peche was brought out cold twice. Our server gave a lame excuse that "seafood cools off fast" and is cold by the time it gets to you. Seeing as it is swimming in what should be a hot broth, I highly doubt that. After all that, it was bland. 3/10 We had to chase down our server a few times because he asked how the food was and walked away before we even had a chance to taste our food. After all things considered, I will trying this place again. The inside ambiance is very nice. This place is built for large family dinners with plenty of large tables available.

White Plains is definitely a very tough area to find a reservation last minute. Via Garibaldi was our last minute no other choice restaurant. However, even though it was our last choice it was definitely not a bad choice. The location was on a main street so they provided valet parking. Just pull up to the restaurant and you'll see a sign for valet parking to the right. This was definitely a plus because looking for parking in White Plains is like looking for parking in the city. The ambiance is upscale casual. The crowd was very mixed with dates, groups and families. The deco had that upscale vibe. They had multiple rooms with plenty of seating which is why they could accommodate for last minute reservations. The service was alright, but judging by the amount of waiters and waitresses there and the amount of tables, I'm sure our waitress had five tables to one person. So it was a bit of a wait to get our waitress attention. The food came out nice and fast. My wife likes chicken Milanese so she had to try that and I ordered the Chicken Padovano. First time trying a Chicken Padovano and it wasn't that bad, but I don't have anything to compare it to. It wasn't try and the plate with full of sauce. Would I try this place again? Maybe if it was a last minute reservation again.

Service was amazing. I actually called ahead to see if they can make char-boiled oysters and they did it with no problems. The menu exceeded expectations for an Italian restaurant.

Steak was very good but not great. The lobster was well cooked and somewhat better than average. The ravioli was clearly homemade and delectable, perfectly cooked and the sauce was amazing. The seating was comfortable, tables had plenty of space, lighting was good and music --if any--unnoticeable. Service was really good. I came late and they cooked and served me quickly.

Empty restaurant with start of dinner crowd. Took a while to be offered a menu or water. Started w soup, which was good. Risotto wasn't really risotto, but the saffron with the truffle oil and mushroom were a delicious combination. Loved it! Portion was enormous -- only ate about a quarter f what was served. Finished with three spoonfuls of the tiramisu.

This review is based solely on my and co-workers Happy Hour experience. Went with co-workers for Happy Hour which runs 4-7 pm at the bar. They have a large bar and bar area with many high top tables that were not in use. The restaurant is huge with lots of dining areas. During our stay everyone but a few at the bar were dining outdoors. We asked the bartender if we could sit at a table in the bar and still receive HH menu and prices. He said no. I get it most places say at the bar only but when they have a huge bar area with empty tables it would have been a nice gesture. We would have been able to have better conversation and possibly stayed past 7 pm when we would have ordered off the regular menu. BUT WAIT... They offer an HH menu and a bar menu. We ordered from both. Two orders of meatball sliders both orders came with 3 small meatballs and lots of melted mozzarella and tomato sauce. How the heck do you serve meatball sliders without the slider bun? We questioned the waiter and asked him, "where is the bun?" The menu said sliders. He shrugged his shoulders and said, "that's the way the kitchen serves them." WHAT??? The calamari clearly stated on menu served with a Thai dipping sauce. The sauce served was a bowl of marina. So, I said to the waiter, "where is the Thai chili sauce?" He said he would go get some. It gets worse. We ordered what were supposed to be roasted chicken chunks with feta and oregano. What comes out?? A fried chicken cutlet sliced in several length wise pieces served with, you guessed it, marinara sauce. [see my photo] I reminded the waiter we ordered roasted chicken, and what the menu described, and this is not what we got. The waiter said he would check with the kitchen and that was the last we saw of him. I could go on about the calamari being chewy, the meatballs spongy and not good, the cutlet was tasteless even with the marinara sauce. With all the places we could have chosen for a co-worker's milestone celebration we were all highly disappointed so would not return. The reason for two stars is at least the prices were reasonable. Cocktails are $10 served in smaller glasses. The Lemon Drop cocktail was decent, others enjoyed their drinks so points for that. Regular cocktails were served in larger martini glasses, but the price was higher, so we stayed with what we ordered. Had we had better food, we would have stayed longer and ordered off the regular menu. If they are under new owners or management, please make sure your kitchen knows the bar and happy hour menu and serves accordingly.

It was crowded for a Saturday night so I would recommend making a reservation. The website has you fill out a form for reservation but I made one easily through Open Table. For apps we started with the baked clams oregonata and the octopus. The clams were fresh but lacking in flavor for me and were left in the broiler a bit too long. The octopus was tasty but also left a bit too long under the broiler that it had a dark char. For the main course I had the chicken padovano. I was a little surprised that the chicken came with quite literally just the chicken. No vegetable or potatoes. The portion was large but would be nice for it to come with something else. The cognac sauce was delicious and the chicken was well seasoned. My friend got the lobster ravioli. The pasta was filled nicely and paired with a tasty sauce. Reminded me of a penne al vodka meets a lobster bisque. The wine list is also pretty extensive but it pretty pricey. There are not many bottles under $100. The waitress and staff were all super attentive. Checked in on our meals, filling water and wine glasses, etc. always appreciate an attentive staff! Overall good meal, but can be a little pricey.

Worst bartender I have ever had! RUDE TO CUSTOMERS, MADE BAD DRINKS, RUINED OUR VISIT. If you see him behind the bar, don't waste your time.

We had a fantastic meal and an all-around great experience. For appetizers, we shared the octopus, a Margherita pizza, and fresh tomatoes with mozzarella drizzled with balsamic. Everything was fresh and flavorful. I ordered the Pork Chop Milanese and absolutely loved it -- the breading was perfectly crisp and seasoned just right. I also had a chance to try my wife's lobster ravioli, which was rich and delicious. The ambiance was comfortable and inviting, perfect for a special night out without feeling over-the-top. For dessert, we had cannolis with a light filling I hadn't tasted before -- not overly sweet, just smooth and really good. Our young Italian waiter was on top of his game all night. He was attentive, professional, and even humored most of my dad jokes. Highly recommend this spot. Go, eat fresh, drink moderately, and tip well.

Really enjoyed the truffle arancini, and the charcuterie board was good, but a bit small. Gnocchi tasted fresh and had a decadent sauce. The chocolate lava cake was good in size and tasty. Wow! what an amazing restaurant!…read more Let me start by saying there is complementary valet parking right next door at the hotel garage. Be sure to validate your parking ticket with the waiter before leaving your table. I ate at this restaurant for a work luncheon, and they did not disappoint!! We had delicious apps - sadly I didn't get any photos.. baked clams, meatballs, fried calamari. There was a good amount of clams on the plate, there were 3 meatballs, and a I would say a small portion of calamari. May need multiple orders of the apps if you are dining with a group of people. Ambiance was lovely, lots of space, and very accommodating for a large group of people. Our waiter was attentive, and got all of our meals correct. We did the lunch price fixe - $27 for a two course meal (appetizer and entree, and tea/coffee)Great size portions!!! The eggplant parm was amazing. One of the best I ever had. I got the caprese sandwich, and the mozzarella was truly so fresh you can taste it. To end the delicious meal, I got the Italian cheesecake. That was truly delicious! I was raving about it the whole rest of the afternoon. I'll definitely be back!

I've dined at the NYC location, but was eager to see the White Plains venue. It was a relatively…read moreeasy ride from Queens, and there is a parking garage next door. The interior was beautifully decorated for the holidays, with their Bronx Tale memorabilia and signage on display. There is ample seating and a large bar where you can enjoy a drink and something to eat, or grab a drink before you sit to dine. I ordered the "Paper Plane", one of their signature cocktails. It was even served with a cute paper airplane affixed with a tiny clothesline clip! To start, we ordered the arancini (risotto balls) and the eggplant parmigiana. Three medium-sized rice balls, filled with cheesy risotto and coated in a delicious crispy coating, were served atop their delicious marinara sauce. The eggplant came as a stack, and it was HUGE! Both were fresh and served hot, plated beautifully, and were definitely options I'd recommend. For our entrees, we ordered the shrimp scampi and the veal saltimboca. Four gigantic shrimp served over risotto, and three thinly pounded veal cutlets served with sauteed spinach. Our dessert, presented to us by the manager, was a sampling of their Italian cheesecake and tiramisu. From what I could see, there was only one bathroom, but it was unisex and very clean. If you arrive during a busy time, be prepared to wait a few minutes to drop off your car and then later get it back. The entrance to the parking garage is not too large, so there can be a backup of vehicles if there aren't enough valets on at the time. The parking is part of the hotel next door; your server will validate the parking ticket, so it is free. I highly recommend sampling different items on the menu with your party; everything I've eaten there or in their NYC location has always been A++++. Staff are accommodating and extremely attentive; our water glasses were always full, and management circulates throughout your experience. He noticed my partner needed a refill and brought it back to him once it was made. Even if you are not from the immediate area, this restaurant is worth a bit of a drive to have a 5-star experience.
