Staff was very friendly and organized since it was a Saturday evening at prime dinner hour, our server Megan was on her game taking care of our 6 Top table of hungry family members. She started us with wine and cocktail then moving onto starters and entrees, checking on our table ensuring that all was good and everybody was happy. The menu offers a variety of items and what we ordered was delizioso, I really enjoyed the Artichoke and Hummus starter which gave all at our table a taste of the unique way it was prepared. Very good and reminded me alot of the prep when we visited Italy. The Seabass was fresh and cooked to perfection and the Scallops on a bed of Risotto was amazing. No complaints from anyone at our table and the portions were perfect. Megan then brought a display of today's Dolce which all looked amazing, we ordered a variety and sampled them all. Unique little tasty bites that were just enough to satisfy the sweet tooth. Seasons 52 offers a great wine list and cocktails as well as beers. FOOD Overall good food, if a little odd. The baked gnocchi and cherry tomatoes in a pesto sauce turned out to be a lot soupier than I expected. My son's pork was well-received. The house-specialty flatbread we had for the table was good. Desserts are served in, effectively, shot glasses. I don't know that it means the portions were any smaller than on a plate, and it made it convenient for the waiter to bring out a display carrier, but it was still a bit odd. One thing that struck me was that everything -- from the flatbread, to the Caesar salad, to the gnocchi, to the dessert, was just a bit sweeter than I was expecting. Not offputtingly so, but a little surprising. SERVICE Service was reasonably good, and our waiter generally showed up when we needed them. I had a dirty knife (promptly replaced with a full utensil kit). ATMOSPHERE The place is just plain noisy. At a booth for four, we had problems with conversation, and in hearing the waiter. Part of this is because they have about a half-dozen too many tables squeezed into the main dining area, among other things guaranteeing you'll brush or bump into chairs on your way to your table, even on the perimeter. One the one hand, it's a good sign that they're doing good business in pulling in a lot of customers; on the other hand, it contributes to making it not a good place for an intimate date. NET-NET We've eaten here before, with similar noise and crowd issues (the holidays are especially challenging). Tastier, but perhaps more authentic, which can be both good and bad. There are tastes that I'm used to and tastes that I'm not. Since I go there regularly, my strategy is to walk down the menu and try as many things as I can. Quite a number have been excellent. My two favorites so far have been Himalayan Curry and Kaida. I ordered something that I had never had before whose name I don't quite remember, but it had the word Puri in it. Let's just say that it was a very unusual taste and I'm glad I tried it, but I probably wouldn't have it again. One thing to note is that you must be seated in the bar area to get the happy hour offerings. The service is consistently amazing, from the hosts to the servers. We arrived at 11am when football starts, which is also when the restaurant opens. When we walked in at about 11:05 there was literally nobody in the restaurant. Lights were mostly off and it was a ghost town. After about 3 min of standing there awkwardly someone came out of kitchen and helped us to a table. We were surprised to find out they had no football package. A sports bar with TVs everywhere but no sports package is just an odd thing. Anyhow, we got lucky in that the game we cares about was on a main channel. We were the only ones there for about half an hour until about 50 pool players showed to start an organized pool tournament. Nothing wrong with that. We even watched some of the games. Everyone else in the restaurant was there for lunch or something other than football. We seemed to be the only sports fans there. It just wasn't a football vibe. The food was good. The menu is wayyyyyy too bit. Its overwhelming. They could really downsize the menu a lot. And it was too expensive for what it was. The servers are half humans and half robots and we had to flag the humans down multiple times. At that level of service the prices are just too high. Beer was very reasonably priced though. All in all, for indian food its not too bad. For pool it looks like fun. For football its just not the right place. Go to twin peaks or viewhouse or one of the other solid sports bars that has a better atmosphere for football sundays.
