First the waiter was incredibly rude and disrespectful to our whole table. He was short with all questions and seemed like we were a burden. This is probably the best pizza place with the best people. My fiancé and I went to multiple restaurants around the area to try different foods and this place was it. The driest pizza I've ever had. My husband insisted on going here because he's a thick crust kind of guy so I had no choice. Having looked at the menu they have options to get a non-Detroit style pizza so I gave it a go. But oh man, the thing they called "The Continental" declared as new in the menu has the driest texture, arugula felt like an opened pack of walmart arugula bag left in the fridge for a month and oh boy the prosciutto was like rubber paired with hardened cheese on the crust. We went over here for lunch and it was not too crazy. Our server was super friendly and helpful and funny. We each ordered our own pizza and it was more than enough for each of us. I was only able to eat half of mine. I got the stooges which has spinach, artichokes, shallots, and Parmesan crisps. It was so good!! I love the texture of having the Parmesan crisps on top. I had been looking forward to trying this out and it did NOT disappoint! We came here on a busy Thursday evening, which was opening week. We were greeted and seated immediately. Our server Raelee was fantastic. My wife prefers Gluten-free options. Raelee asked if it was due to allergy or preference, which she explained was due to a different process they take when helping out GF customers. We appreciated the attention to detail in that regard. The pizza is Detroit-style, which means they bake the pizza with dough and cheese/toppings first before the sauce goes on. This way the crust and cheese end up crusting up for a delicious result. I was skeptical at first, but wow! Their crust was tasty, both crunchy and simultaneously chewy with a great flavor. My wife's GF crust was surprisingly good! Crunchy on the edges and corners but soft in the middle. Not the typical GF crust which is normally similar to cardboard. The root beer was fantastic. It was similar to higher quality homemade root beer, similar to what I've had at places that brew it in-house. We opted to try the cinnamon sticks too, which were GF. They were super flavorful and worth a shot. We also had the manager come and check on us and spent time letting us know about their expansion into Utah. Super cool guy. We were blown away with the food and service at this location. We had been to one of the others before but this one made my son's birthday special. He chose this place for his family birthday dinner. It was a Sunday night and so glad they were open. And there was no wait , we walked in and was seated right away. We mentioned it was my son's birthday when we sat down. The hostess wished him a happy birthday and she ended up our waitress too.  We ordered two large Detroit style pizzas and cheese bread. Our family devoured the pizzas. Then (unexpectedly) the waitress brought over some cinnamon sticks and said they were given this complimentary since it was our son's birthday. And then another surprise. She presented him with a birthday card signed by the staff from Riverton Via313, with a present inside: a giftcard for a small pizza on his next visit! We are so grateful for this! I have been here before with girlfriends and family but different locations (Lehi and Murray). Each time the pizza is fantastic and the wait isn't too bad even tho they warn you since it's "like a deep dish" it will take a lil longer than a regular pizza would. Hint: important to have that in mind when you come if you do not have any deep dish pizza experience. It doesn't take as long as a Chicago deep dish would take tho (40 mins). We came on a Sunday night to this Riverton location. It was our son's choice- his birthday family dinner. I don't know if it was because it was a Sunday but it was nice and slow and quiet when we arrived. So we were seated asap. We mentioned it was his birthday to the hostess when we were getting seated. We ordered a "small" pepperoni and a large half and half (the Carnivore and The Hawaiian). We also ordered cheese sticks as an appetizer. Cheese sticks came out as 10 pieces. The marinara it came with was perfect so ask for extra ;) The pizzas were perfectly cooked and cut the way we requested (double cut). We almost did not have any leftovers since my family inhaled most of our pizzas. Then we had a surprise! The waitress brought over cinnamon sticks and said it was free since it was our son's birthday ! What a lovely thing! And the staff signed a birthday card and presented it to my son with the free dessert! The best "present" from the Riverton Via 313 was the free small pizza coupon inside the birthday card!!! This was my first time eating at a Via 313 Pizza. Which is surprising since a bunch have popped up around the valley practically overnight. Since it was a Friday night, it was pretty busy when we arrived. So we chose to take seats at the bar instead of waiting 45 minutes for a table. The food and drinks were really good! I really enjoyed the Detroit style pizza. Deep dish is hard to hate. And I love that they had hot cocktails on a cold night. But because of the slow service and overpriced cocktails and pizza, I couldn't give this pizzeria more than four stars. The toddy was $10 and there was literally only 1 shot of Bulleit Bourbon in it...come on. The pizza itself seems overpriced for its size. But what isn't these days. read more

Finally good pizza!! We got lucky and got free pizza! To our surprise they also added cinnamon sticks The pizza was the detrioter. Pepperoni pizza. The crust is perfect buttery soft. I was super pumped to get a free small pizza in exchange for my email address- and even more excited when they didn't make me pay anything for making it gluten free! Everyone I interacted with was friendly. I did have to wait awhile bc they made it when I ordered it. I told them I only have a gluten intolerance so no need to worry if some gluten crumbs get on my pizza. An employee still made sure to tell me they accidentally touched my pizza with a contaminated spatula and asked me if I needed a new pizza! So careful! I loved the pizza crust. I've been wanting to try this place for a while now and I'm glad I finally did! We decided to order a cheese bread for an appetizer and it was really good. The marinara sauce they give you to dunk the cheese bread in is so good! It's probably one of the best marinara's I've ever had. For our pizza we did the Detroit style ambassador bridge. This one has sausage, pepperoni, garlic, oregano, and dollops of ricotta cheese with marinara. I'm not sure how much of a fan I am of having the sauce drizzled on top vs a regular pizza that has the sauce on the bottom. The sauce was cold since its just placed on top after cooking so it then made the whole pizza cold. If they served this with the marinara sauce being hot it would be a huge game changer and make the pizza so much better. Over all though our experience was great and the food had really good flavor. I would definitely come back and give this place another try, but maybe next time I'll do a to go order so I can pop the pizza in the oven to heat up the sauce. read more

Here lies another overrated pizza place in the Riverton/Herriman area. I decided on getting a Detroit style Margherita pizza. If there is one thing Via 313 did well, it was the crust! It was thick, yet buttery. fluffy, and cooked through just enough. It was not at all hard to my teeth, and true to Detroit style. Yet, the pizza falls short on everything else. There was a good amount of cheese on the pizza. Yet, somehow, it was BLAND! It was cheese in texture only! It was not an authentic Wisconsin brick cheese that typically goes on Detroit style pizza. Then, while the San Marzano sauce was good, they hardly put any on top of the pizza! I was expecting the sauce to be piled on high just like in other pictures of the pizza served here, and they didn't deliver on that! Via 313 is like Dion's in New Mexico because both can only deliver on the crust. The pizza also set me back $16. That isn't great, but isn't terrible. Considering that, it was at least more filling than Lackwater's medigan pizza. However, Via 313 also earns a spot in the medigan pizza category. I cannot recommend Via 313. if you live near this establishment, go take a 30 minute drive and try Bricks Corner. read more

This is a fun new pizza place in Mountian View . We came here on a Monday night . They were pretty busy but we got seated right away. The music is pretty loud & it is rock music . The loud music makes it hard to carry on a conversation. We ordered the cheese bread for an appetizer . It was pretty good . Not a lot of cheese it came with marinara sauce . We got the Carnivore pizza . This had pepperoni , ham & sausage & bacon. We had this Detroit style - was a thick crust . This pizza was really good . Lots of cheese . The only thing I didn't like was the sauce on top was cold . The sauce is kinda spicy as is the pepperoni & sausage . I think it would be too spicy for kids . It comes with a lot of meat & is very filling . We also got the Hawaiian Detroit style pizza . This has bacon , ham & pineapple rings . This also had the red sauce over the top but this one was warm . This pizza is very good & cheesy . We loved the pineapple rings . They have Coke products . The waitress was very attentive . Honestly, it was ok pizza. Don't come for me! Our waiter wasn't the best. She kept going to talk to a different table, I assumed she knew them. Took forever to get our drinks and food. We had ordered before the other table but we didn't get our stuff until after they did...made no sense. Took forever to get our check. We were there for nearly two hours... The tables were really close to each other. For some reason, I thought the place was bigger. We got the cheese bread, Caesar salad, the Carnivore and the Hawaiian. We did not realize the red sauce would be spicy so sadly our toddler was only able to eat the cheese bread. We did ask the waiter if the red sauce is normally spicy and she said no, but didn't offer to remake or some kind of other option. (Which is fine, now we know that the red sauce as some spice - both pizzas were spicy.) The Hawaiian was undercooked so we didn't even eat half of it. Again, let the waitress know but she didn't do anything about it. She forgot our salad and said we didn't order it even though she wrote it down. I asked for it to-go, she said yes but then brought it out NOT in a to-go box. The root beer though, I will say was good. Not sure if a Detroit style pizza is our thing unless we just had a bad experience, but we do plan on going back to give it another try. We want to try their bar style pizza. First of all, this is the BEST pizza I have ever had in my entire life. Now... I have lived in Utah my whole life, so my pizza experience has been limited to Utah locals and chains... so I'm not saying it's the best pizza that EVER has existed, (I'm also not saying it's not ;) but it's just the best I've ever had. Most people around here, like myself, have never heard of Detroit-style pizza.... we've been MISSING OUT! Besides constantly craving their pizza again and again, the atmosphere here rocks! Superman. ice cream.) and then just last night, for my sister's 18th birthday.. they brought out TWO complimentary trays of dessert pizza for the whole table AND gave her a card that the staff signed. Some were getting ready to leave and some were eating and talking. Me and my husband sat there for over 30 min waiting for someone to help us. We got seated but that was it, the person that seated us we never saw him again. As we waited FOR OVER 30 MIN, there were staff members talking amongst themselves while looking at our table from time to time. They were walking past our table, to help the ones sitting right next to us, asking if they've been helped or if they need anything.
