Table and seat were dirty. The person who took our order was new. He couldn't answer any questions about pizza crust. I expected a great pizza but was sorely disappointed. We opened box and topping were sparse. Pizza was over baked and doughy. We tried to eat a slice and it tasted awful. Store bought pizza much better. Kids were making pizza not wearing gloves. Person took order wrong I asked for an Italian salad and was charged for a garden and Italian. Young man was very good about refund. I shall keep looking for good Italian pizza. It was kinda late and I was ready for a snack. More a savory kind of preference I'm thinking pizza. Checking Door Dash I see Marco's is still open and it's close so Let's Goooo! I ordered my standard pepperoni, PINEAPPLE:) , green olives!!! (They have black and green), and jalapeños. I'm watching the reply of the shellacking the Ravens gave the Niners and next thing you know, it's pizza time. The unveiling... it's hot and gorgeous. First bite... HOT,HOT, HOT!!! As the zah cooled the flavors kicked in and the dough. It's perfectly done, has a great chew and the salty, sweet, spicy concerto combines for a beautiful dance on my pallet. What?!?! Is that butter and garlic on the crust?!?! Yes! Nice touch Marcos. Certainly no crust was left. I've not entered this location but the product was very good. This is my 2nd review on Marcos, after my latest experience I feel I have to reasses my 1st review. I ordered pizza and wings for my daughters birthday. I went in to pick up my order, paid and left. I was charged 51$ and as I got in my car I thought something isn't right, on the app my total was 33$ so I look at the receipt and in fact I was over charged. I went in and they said they would refund me and for me to pay the 33$. BTW the 1st payment could take days to return to you, so I leave the pizza place paying 84$ for 2 pizzas and wings. I will be getting my 51$ back in time i guess but because of their mistake I was highly inconvenienced. The pizza was good, it was 1 large and 1 med pepperoni pizza nothing crazy but it was good. Wings are absolutely trash in the most respectful way. They are baked i think, they are the tiniest wings with hardly any meat and half were over cooked. Very unsafe for your pizza to be delivered. called and spoke to manager Sophia and she did not seem to take this seriously she said they were out of stickers. I dont know why people didn't rate their pizza better... fast service, the "kids" who worked there were fine (not rude, were not messing around, on their phones, etc), the pizza (i feel) was better than my kid's choice of Little Caesars! Lots of toppings, wasn't burned or undercooked. Was great! Didn't find any issue at all! We got take out but looks like you can dine in. Doesn't look like anyone dines in tho. This place is not very good. Kinda hurts my heart to say this about a small joint just trying to create something magical - but, it's true, at least for the thin crust pizza. The thin crust pizza is like eating a sprinkle of cheese and small pieces of meat on an extra dry saltine cracker. We ordered the White Cheezy Pizza . This has bacon, onions, diced tomatoes , garlic parmesan sauce , three cheese with feta cheese. We added chicken. This was a really good pizza . It could have had more chicken on it but was still really good . The tomatoes were sliced thin & cooked perfect . We love the garlic parmesan sauce . It was frustrating to be charged $5 more to have a pizza half and half without notification before being charged. They also don't offer any way to have non bottled water when we were eating there. However, the pizza when it finally came out was really good. It exceeded expectations and they were generous with the toppings. I'd do take out from there if I ever am in the area again. Disclaimer for all you pizza lovers, I love pepperoni. #1 topping of all time. And Marcos has the absolute best pepperoni out of all the fast food pizza places. They have a double pepperoni pizza that is the go to for a lazy night in dinner. A three is the highest I can give any quick takeout pizza place. They're all about consistency and how fast they are. Marcos is consistent and usually fast. I say normally because as I'm writing this I'm in my car, 42 minutes past when my pizza is supposed to be done and I just like pepperonis glorious shape, it's a big zero on that front. Also, for Marcos, the masks don't work if you take them off as your talking to a guest. Gotta keep those suckers on. Update: had to downgrade Marcos. This makes me sad. They got our order wrong, twice. When we went to pick up the pizza 1/2 had white sauce and the other half had no sauce. The employee who was helping us was nice enough to make another one, but then forgot to add the banana peppers. We didn't bother going back inside to ask for some. I wish I could give different starts for different parts of our interaction..... we pre-ordered pizzas for a team dinner to be delivered. They never showed up but we were charged. (1 star) We called back and made arrangements to have the pizzas delivered the next day. They showed up but the wrong amount. (1 star) Then we were charged again (1 star) Called back to be put on hold for 30 minutes only to be told the manager was "too busy" to talk to me at the moment but would call back. I understood it was 7pm/ ok their in their dinner rush no big deal. At nine o clock I called back only to be told the same thing. Finally the girl I originally talked to called back and told me the manager was researching it and would call me in five minutes. Never heard back. (1 star) Today we went in to the store to take care of it. The manager on duty Shaylee was patient and kind as she found the orders and took care of us. (5 stars) For being the one that got thrown into an ugly situation- she handled it with grace. Thank you Shaylee. We do hope she is recognized for her hard work. All in all- the pizza was good. Their online order service was pretty impressive, they even allowed you to track your order, so that you know when will your order be ready. I read about their poor delivery service that's why I went to pick up the food myself, just in case their GPS goes wrong again. But when I got there, they had trouble getting me my receipt. I stood there for 3 minutes waiting for the two cashiers to print out my receipt. I really think they need an upgrade for their GPS devices and receipt-printing skill. Anyway, I got myself a thick crust White Cheese Pizza, BBQ Chicken Wings, and Cheezy Bread. I really love they have an option of thick crust, cause I'm a big fan of thick crust. This place does ok with the amount of toppings, the issue is where the toppings are placed. Everything is placed in the center rather than being spread evenly about the pie, leaving a 3" crust. Wow... the pizza bread is just that good. You could feel the freshness and crispiness of the pizza bread, it's just perfect. I came down with my wife to get pizza for dinner. We ordered speciality pizza of "BBQ chicken" and it is truly delicious, especially the pizza. The owner recommended the garlic topping for the bread (it came for free) and they just taste great... We also ordered BBQ wings, that are truly delicious. I think all these deliciousness is coming from the freshness of the ingredients. The owner gave us free cheesy bread and white pizza for our first time ... OMG, both are really delicious, especially the cheesy bread that we dipped in the marinara sauce. It's just perfect. We bring the extra home and my seven year old is just devouring the cheesy bread in no time. We also have a friend trying the pizza and she loved it... Me and my girlfriend got some pizza from here today (2/8/20) we used some coupons for 2 medium 1 topping pizzas (each), free cheesy bread & one 2 liter drink along with a free small 1 topping pizza. With us being so hungry and when we rushed back home, we noticed the sleepy idiot behind the counter failed to give us our cheesy bread and then found out the 2-liter of Mtn Dew expiration date on the bottle was 2/3/20 like seriously...PLEASE be more up-to-date with expiration dates especially if it's as simple as soda. This used to be my favorite pizza place, their pizza and customer service WAS top notch. Over the last 8-12 months customer service and pizza quality has fallen hard and fast!!! I even called and spoke to the manger the last time I placed an order (which took over an hour (quoted 15-20 minutes) for 2 medium carry-out pizzas). Tonight I gave them another chance and my online order of 2 medium pizzas took well over 1 & 1/2 hours (the online quote was 40 minutes) I'm super bummed because I think the manger is a great guy but I won't be returning to this establishment any time soon, if ever... Marco's is my go to Pizza delivery joint. Pizza is great every time. The location is very small and does not offer much room. It is always crowded with people waiting for their food so sitting and eating has never been desirable. They can get really slow on days they are likely to get a lot of orders. When we order we plan ahead and try to get our order in first. If we order when everyone else does it takes forever and is usually wrong. Even with those concerns it is GREAT PIZZA! I do not know about the other locations but the one in Riverton 12600 south is badly managed. I order my pizzas using their website and after 2 hours we have not received. I drove to the place and was surprize by the number of people waiting and by the number of orders in the racks. They could not find my order and finally told me that was out for delivered and it will be delivered in 15 minutes....well after another hour nothing. The store is managed by a bunch of kids...and if you try to call them, be ready..I try a few times and after 10-15 minutes no answer. I'll start by saying I had high hopes for this pizza, but not necessarily high expectations. I called on Valentine's day to order two pizzas for takeout. When the guy answered the phone, I told him immediately that I had a coupon buy one get one free. he stumbled a little bit, asked me to hold for a moment, came back and said that's fine and proceeded to take my order. I ordered a large half cheese half bacon pizza regular crust and a pepperoni, thin crust heart-shaped pizza. The guy gave me my total and told me to bring in my coupon when I showed up. I asked if he wanted my name or phone number. He said he already had my phone number. When I showed up, the first thing another kid asked is which name is it under. I told him the guy never asked for my name and so it took a moment to find my order. No big deal. When I redeem the coupon on the two for one app, and show the kid, he entered the code that was for the promotion. After fumbling around a little bit he proceeded to tell me that because the heart pizza which was super tiny, was already a promotion and can't use the buy one get one. I asked him why the kid on the phone didn't tell me that earlier so I could change my order. He apologized but did nothing about it and still charged me the full amount. He told me to screenshot the promo code and use it next time, which is very presumptuous, because I don't think I'm going to go back. Who knows. I was pissed on the inside but it was too late to change my order when I had kids at home waiting for pizza. I drove home and tried the heart-shaped pizza first. Followed by the regular crust. To give a little background, I grew up in New York. Not New York City per se but still close enough to know what good pizza should taste like. I moved to Utah about 18 years ago and have been struggling to find something that is an actual New York Pizza. I found the pie. I found NYPD Pizza. I found Midici. These are all decent but they're not actual New York Pizza. That being said Marco's Pizza is about the furthest thing from actual pizza. The sauce is so sweet. The crust looks amazing but taste like construction paper. I'm not saying this place won't hit the spot for some people. I'm sure there's people that crave it. They also probably have their taste buds removed at some point in their youth. You would be much better off getting Little Caesars, number one for the price, and number two, because it just tastes better. Maybe I caught them on a bad day. They were very busy making to go orders when I walked in. but honestly I don't know how they think they can charge the prices they do for this low quality of a pizza. Going back to my original statement, I didn't have high expectations just high hopes. If they didn't overcharge me and screw me over from using the promo, then at least I could have tried their pizza and not be out 25 bucks. I would give negative stars if I could. I was told 25 minutes, I know they are always behind so I showed up 40 minutes after calling. When I got here they hadn't started my order yet. I said that's ok, they said 15 minutes... now it's been over an hour and I'm sitting here with my 2 year old waiting. It's hotter than hell in here and they have multiple employees just standing waiting to be told what to do. I work in customer service and this is the worst I have seen.
