The cheese proportions were perfect as well and it felt very intentional to the flavor when you got some cheese in your bite. I rate this pizza a 9.1/10. The cookie was also perfect, 10/10. The only thing that would make this a 5 star review is a bit thicker of crust and a touch more basil on the pizza. Service was good, the place has very unique art and atmosphere. There's so much color and style, atmosphere is a 10/10. Location is very convenient and consistent, parking is also very easy as well. We will be coming back.

My sister arrived and subsequently had to wait for about another hour, with her 3 hungry kids, before it was actually ready for pickup (45 minutes later than the latest estimate). She told me that the only individual present said someone had called out for work and so they were behind (which should have been considered in their estimated pick-up time IMO), but their English was such that she wasn't sure whether or not things were being understood. I tried to call their listed number multiple times and went straight to voicemail. I never got a call back. Being quoted 35 minutes when submitting an order and then having to wait 1:45 (exactly triple) with no type of discount or compensation or even an apology is unacceptable. The pizza was fine, about what I expected for the price. Good crust, good marinara. Toppings were not well distributed among the slices -- lumped in the center. Cheesy bread sticks were somewhat plain.

In NYC, I can get a massive $5-6 slice that hangs off the plate. At Fini, I paid roughly $11 for two slices that, combined, barely covered a plate. Calling this New York-style pizza feels like a stretch. The customer service was just as disappointing. The guy working the front counter seemed completely uninterested in helping anyone. No greeting, no welcome, not even a simple "I can help you here." Just an awkward stare until we figured out he was ready to take our order. Later, when our slices were supposedly ready, he practically snapped at us that he still needed to finish them before we could take them. Not exactly a welcoming experience. And then there's the pizza itself. The slices already looked overcooked sitting on display, only to be reheated until the crust was excessively charred. Instead of a delicious, foldable NY-style slice, we ended up with something closer to burnt cardboard. Fini seems to be going for that trendy, niche New York pizza-shop experience, but the execution falls painfully short. I'm guessing they got their hype all during the opening. Between the tiny portions, excessive charring, high prices, and indifferent service, I left wondering what all the fuss was about. Frankly, I would have been happier with Little Caesars -- and that's not a compliment. Definitely won't be rushing back.
