I just got my eyebrows microbladed by Vanessa and I love my new brows! After researching so many places, I found Limerence Beauty through Yelp and fell in love with how natural her brows looked on her clients on Instagram. If I could only tell my teenage-self to stay away from the tweezers *sigh*, but luckily there's Vanessa! My whole experience with her has been great. She's very responsive if you try to text the number provided on her IG and website. Before I even booked my appointment I wanted to ask her questions about the process and what I could expect before I decided to book and commit. She was so detailed in her response, it was very helpful. Even up until the actual day of my microblading I had questions, and she was always quick to respond. Her studio was cute and clean. It is in a building with other small local businesses. Parking was pretty easy to find on Harrison St. The whole procedure took about 3 hours: First, she chatted about what tools and ink she was using. I was able to ask any questions I might of had. Then, she drew the shape of my brows. She was very detailed and attentive to what I wanted while inputing her expertise. She didn't mind that I kept asking her to adjust her drawings of my brows at all, which was great because she wanted to make sure that I was happy with the shape before she started the actual microblading. I mean it is your face after all, so I really appreciated that! Lastly, I decided to go without the numbing cream and she warned me that it will hurt, but that the pigment will stay longer without the cream. And damn did it hurt but the pain subsided pretty quickly for me. As she went through each pass, she was attentive and asked me if I wanted to fill in certain areas or not. My brows look great already and I'm looking forward to seeing how they look after they're all healed. She has helped shape, even and fill in areas that were sparse. And they look SO natural! After getting several compliments from a few co-workers today it dawned on me that I had yet to write a review for Vanessa's amazing service. One of my co workers said "Oh, thats why your eye brows always look perfect" after mentioning the process to them. :) Before getting my eyebrows microbladed I searched high and low on the internet for the perfect place. I seen many before and after photos but most other places left very bold and dark strokes making the end product look a bit cartoon like. What immediately caught my eye about Vanessa's work was the thin and very natural looking strokes. During my initial session I truly enjoyed watching how passionate Vanessa was about perfecting the symmetry and shape of my eyebrows. The healing process was very similar to that of a tattoo, but the end result was so worth it. Before I had this done my eyebrows were sparse and thin, which made me very insecure. I also have a long scar that goes down my eyebrow which the process was able to cover up very nicely.
