Long overdue review! I had my eyebrows microbladed by Vanessa two years ago, and I couldn't be happier with the results. Her work has held up beautifully, and all I need now is a quick wax once a year. Vanessa is professional, talented, and consistently does amazing work every time. If you're thinking about getting your brows done, I highly recommend her. You'll leave with beautiful, natural-looking brows and exceptional service! read more

Ok, so I thought I left a review, because I had to have, but I guess I didn't! I've been seeing Vanessa for years, my brows are so good! It took a couple of years to fade at all and the touch up also was perfect. I also see her regularly for lash lifts and tints. Her work is phenomenal AND she is such a great person that I friended her because I needed her in my life as much as possible (you will, too). If you want a skilled artist that knows what they are doing, trained more than most in several styles, and offers competitive prices (which, even if she charged 5Xs more I would still go), this is your place. Stop looking, go here! The picture is from my brows touched up last year and my lashes lifted today read more

I had been thinking about getting my eyebrows microbladed for years before I found Vanessa at Limerence Beauty and I'm so glad I did. Vanessa walked me through each step as she did it and made me feel extremely comfortable. She also sent me a follow up text a couple days after to see how my brows were healing. I also really appreciated the fact that she washed her hands often. My brows have healed and look super natural both with and without makeup. I couldn't be happier with my decision to get them done by Vanessa. She has limited availability right now given the situation so I would recommend making an appointment with her as soon as you decide to get your brows microbladed!!!! read more

I have been wanting to get my eyebrows microbladed for the last 5 years, but no other artists felt right until I saw Vanessa's work. I have super light asian eyebrows and I don't normally go for the makeup look. Ombre/ powder brows looks great on other people, but it just isn't my style. I wanted something natural, but not too dark and I didn't want to feel like I was Bert, or is it Ernie? When I saw Vanessa's Instagram page, I was worried that she wasn't real. Look, when you've been searching for Mr./Mrs. Right forever and you think you found it , there's a brief second you think that it's too good to be true because you're scared of being disappointed. Vanessa made my brows look so natural, as if you just have really great natural brows. No one can tell its microbladed and that exactly what I wanted. Even right after the procedure it didn't look obvious so I didn't need to hide in my house for a week. Vanessa is also meticulous when it comes to the pre-draw and makes sure you are happy with the shape before she starts. She's also super patient as you're asking her to add 1mm more or 1 extra stroke. She is also super sweet and makes you feel comfortable the whole time! My brows healed so naturally after the initial appointment I didn't want to go for a touch up. But I went in because I wanted the shape slightly fuller and I love my brows even more! I can't wait until it heals! I don't know what I'll do of she ever retires! Don't ever retire, please! read more

Had my 2 year later touch up appointment. Amazing. Can't say enough good things about my brows - it's perfect. They are so natural looking - the shape and color are exactly right. They make me look younger (I am in my mid 40's so that is a good thing). Vanessa does such a great job. read more

Vanessa is the absolute best! I got Yumi lash lift done at different places in SF and San Jose and she is the best of the best. She is a perfectionist and I've never had my lashes look this perfect and great! 100% recommend! She is super sweet and kind too. read more

Vanessa is a gem! She is a perfectionist, artist and has a very calming presence which are all the things you want in someone who is going to microblade. She really takes her time to make your brows look amazing. It's been a year since she first did my brows and I was super happy with how they came out - so natural and pretty. I love the time it saves to not have to do makeup on my brows as well. I also had thinning brows and a bald spot on one and now you can't even tell which area the bald spot is in. I just got my touch up and again she did a wonderful job. She is worth every penny. read more

WOW! I want to give all my praises to Vanessa, I honestly can't recommend her enough to all my friends and family and now to all you lovely people reading this review. I had never had my eyebrows micro bladed prior to meeting with Vanessa - She was wonderful throughout the entire process. Booking an appointment was easy as her communication was professional and quick. Vanessa, is a true artist and a perfectionist in the best way. She takes her time perfecting the shape of your eyebrows, all while involving you in the process and making sure you are 100% happy before the blade even touches your skin. The procedure it's self was painless - Vanessa applies a numbing cream so you don't feel a thing - and will reapply if you need it. I do recommend to bring some earphones and some of your favourite tunes to listen to, as the sound of the strokes can be a little unpleasant. Vanessa, is caring, friendly and goes above&beyond with her artistry making your new eyebrows look natural as if they have always been yours. I have now had my touch up session and will continue to exclusively use Vanessa as my Microblader. Thank you so much for making me feel more confident - you can't put a price on how you've changed the way I see myself. read more

You can tell Vanessa has such a strong passion and love for microblading because her talent absolutely shows in her work. She is extremely knowledgeable, kind and professional. She's a great listener and takes exactly what you ask for and executes it while creating something greater than I thought possible honestly. Answering any questions I had before, during and after her service. She makes her self easily reachable. Recommending products to avoid or use (as well as to where to find them) for the best possible results. AFTER CARE GREATLY MATTERS! After she works her magic, it's extremely important you do your part with after care. Staying dry, clean and oil free. After investing her time making me so happy and satisfied during microblading, Vanessa follows up after appointments because she genuinely cares how I am doing. Asking for updates and pictures so we can easily have a conversation about any concerns or questions. When I would feel any discomfort while microblading (because I chose not to use numbing cream) Vanessa could make me smile and laugh it off. Giving me breaks whenever needed. TIP: bring a stress ball to hold and squeeze. The discomfort is completely tolerable. Scheduling/Re-scheduling appointments are made simple by her. I could not be happier with my results and will continue to return for any touch-ups or changes I want to make. I highly recommend her services I'm thankful I found Vanessa!!! read more

I just got my eyebrows microbladed by Vanessa and I love my new brows! After researching so many places, I found Limerence Beauty through Yelp and fell in love with how natural her brows looked on her clients on Instagram. If I could only tell my teenage-self to stay away from the tweezers *sigh*, but luckily there's Vanessa! My whole experience with her has been great. She's very responsive if you try to text the number provided on her IG and website. Before I even booked my appointment I wanted to ask her questions about the process and what I could expect before I decided to book and commit. She was so detailed in her response, it was very helpful. Even up until the actual day of my microblading I had questions, and she was always quick to respond. Her studio was cute and clean. It is in a building with other small local businesses. Parking was pretty easy to find on Harrison St. The whole procedure took about 3 hours: First, she chatted about what tools and ink she was using. I was able to ask any questions I might of had. Then, she drew the shape of my brows. She was very detailed and attentive to what I wanted while inputing her expertise. She didn't mind that I kept asking her to adjust her drawings of my brows at all, which was great because she wanted to make sure that I was happy with the shape before she started the actual microblading. I mean it is your face after all, so I really appreciated that! Lastly, I decided to go without the numbing cream and she warned me that it will hurt, but that the pigment will stay longer without the cream. And damn did it hurt but the pain subsided pretty quickly for me. As she went through each pass, she was attentive and asked me if I wanted to fill in certain areas or not. My brows look great already and I'm looking forward to seeing how they look after they're all healed. She has helped shape, even and fill in areas that were sparse. And they look SO natural! I'll be going back for the touch-up appointment in a couple months. I would definitely recommend her if anyone is looking to microblade their brows! read more

Vanessa is truly an amazing artist! I had been thinking of microblading but was quite nervous about it. Vanessa takes me through what microblading was and how long it would last, and answered my anxious questions patiently. She spent a good amount of time perfecting my brow shape to make sure it was perfect. The session did not hurt too much, but perhaps bring some ear buds as the microblading noise is scratchy! Healing process took about 10-14 days, I did a dry heal for the first 5 days. The results- phenomenal! I have the perfect natural 'woke up like this' eyebrows. I had a touch up for minor adjustments and have been obsessed ever since. If you are looking to get your eyebrows micro bladed/shaded, I highly recommend Vanessa. read more

I had my first microblading session (plus two touch ups) with Vanessa back in 2017-2018 and was happily browed for years after. Now that I'm back in the bay and life is returning to normal, I saw her for a long overdue touch up after three years. Her craft has gotten more and more refined over the years, she's constantly working&training with famous mentors and well known beauticians across the country. As intimidating as microblading can seem (blades making semi permanent strokes on your face), she walks you through every step and works with you to create the perfect shape that suits your style and preference. A majority of our appointment wasn't the microblading itself, but actually Vanessa visualizing and sketching out the right brow shape for my face. I have naturally sparse brows with some asymmetry, and she was working from Every. Single. Direction. to make sure the angles were perfect. She is incredibly detail oriented and cares about every stroke she makes foe each client. Booking is super simple. She's responsive in her DMs and via text, keeps tabs on your healing process and gives tips along the way, and her studio is always spotless and clean. Street parking in the area was pretty straightforward as well. TLDR; Vanessa is truly an artist and overall so kind and talented. If you've done the research and microblading is for you, book Vanessa. You won't regret it :) read more

I first went to Vanessa last year for my first micro blading pre covid and had my touch up with her during covid. Her work is so detailed and she herself is a perfectionist! I just went for my annual touch up, and she asked if I wanted to do shading? After seeing some of her work, I was on board! I am so glad I did micro blading with shading. My brows are thin, so the shading really filled in more of the brow. Vanessa is amazing, she takes her time, is precise and loves what she does, and it shows! I won't get my brows done by anyone else! read more

Review update: I have been here a couple of times now and got my second annual touch up today! I'm so thankful Vanessa is still taking appointments during this time because I was worried about having to go longer than a year before touching up or having to go somewhere else. Every time I've been back is a 5/5 experience. I have never been disappointed and her work is always consistently at a high standard. Vanessa is truly so sweet and pays such great attention to detail and will make sure you leave with the brows you want. This level of care is rare and unmatched. I also really appreciate that she informed me of any new changes to the procedure since the last time and lets you know where she is at in the process as she's working. I am typically the kind of person to jump around and try different services but I cannot imagine getting my brows done anywhere else! read more

In the midst of all my research of eyebrow specialists, I came across multiple talents and prices around. I found Limerence Beauty on google and was amazed with Vanessa's (owner) before and after pics on Instagram. I loved that she made eyebrows look their most natural, like you were born with them! I debated for some time before finally booking my appointment, and am so glad I did! Granted I found cheaper specialists to go to but her work was unbeatable and worth ever penny! I will be returning for my touch up next June and am so happy I found her! If you're looking for beautifully done natural looking eyebrows, Vanessa's your gal! read more

Vanessa is an artist! She has an amazing attention to detail and takes the time to get your brows just right. I was eager to get my eyebrows done earlier this year but COVID hit and was apprehensive about seeking micro blading treatments during this time. Vanessa was very helpful with requesting information and prework before the actual session. She made me feel comfortable about the procedure and we both wore masks and other relevant protective gear. She's professional, knowledgeable and creative. She's overall easy to talk to and sweet. She's willing to work with you and allow you to determine what best suits you. I highly recommend Vanessa! I had been considering microblading for years, but was nervous to try it. I was drawn to how natural Vanessa's work looked, and after going through the microblading process, I think that waiting to find the right artist was the best choice. Vanessa was so patient mapping out my brows and checking in with me throughout to ensure the shape was right. I really appreciate her attention to detail -- it's amazing how one brow stroke can make such a difference! This is an overdue review, but I wanted to wait until my brows were fully healed from the touchup since this was my first time microblading. As a long time customer of Vanessa's, I am so grateful for her utter passion for what she does. I fell into the overly thin eyebrow trend in highschool and soon after I thought I would never feel good about my eyebrows again. It was a huge blow to my confidence for years since I was not good at filling them in myself. When I finally decided to take the plunge and invest in myself, I was so lucky to find Vanessa. Each session we've gone a little bit thicker, as I was scared to go to bold at first. I can vouch for everyone elses comments saying that she is a perfectionist, down the last little stroke. It's a good quality to have in an eyebrow artist. You can rest assured that you are getting 100% of her effort and expertise. I cannot recommend her services enough! Not only is her work amazing, she also has such a beautiful soul. One thing's for sure, she has a customer for life. read more

I did a bit of research and landed on this place bc I could see the variety of skin tones and detailed work done on so many different faces. At first, I resisted the idea to have much thicker brows, but Venessa was so professional and patient. She truly gave me the impression that she cared and loved the craft. After getting several compliments from a few co-workers today it dawned on me that I had yet to write a review for Vanessa's amazing service. One of my co workers said "Oh, thats why your eye brows always look perfect" after mentioning the process to them. :) Before getting my eyebrows microbladed I searched high and low on the internet for the perfect place. I seen many before and after photos but most other places left very bold and dark strokes making the end product look a bit cartoon like. What immediately caught my eye about Vanessa's work was the thin and very natural looking strokes. During my initial session I truly enjoyed watching how passionate Vanessa was about perfecting the symmetry and shape of my eyebrows. The healing process was very similar to that of a tattoo, but the end result was so worth it. Before I had this done my eyebrows were sparse and thin, which made me very insecure. I also have a long scar that goes down my eyebrow which the process was able to cover up very nicely. I would've never thought of leaving my house without my brows filled in with powder before, but now I feel confident. I'm also thrilled that I save a lot off time off my morning routine. Vanessa was very warm and welcoming and made the whole process pleasant. I can't wait to go back to get my eyelashes done with her. read more

Vanessa did an absolutely amazing job on my eyebrows. Most important, they look super natural. This is my first time to do the micro-blading in my life! And I made the good decision! And yes, girls should do the research before actually doing it. Ask yourself, why you need this. The main reason why I did this is I don't need to worry about my eyebrow anymore while I'm having the outdoor activities, like going to the beach and being sweaty. Or even sleeping over to worry about no makeup on! Wake up as a natural beauty princess. Lol. For me, I do think reputation matters a lot. Before actually doing this, I did lots of research, because this is like doing things on my face where other people will see everyday. I used to pick the place with high reputation, high rates, which you also can consider as the place where most YouTuber or instagram celebrities will recommend. But after the research, those famous artists are all very booked, super expensive and they replied you very late. It's just lots of waiting process. If I want something, I want to get it done now! Vanessa did a great job for my eyebrows. I'm a designer. I value the communication a lot. She consistently asked me how do I want my eyebrow to look like and some reference pictures I like, also gave me her honest feedback, which looks best on me. She's also very flexible and easy talking to, which makes me feel very calm and trust her job! We also chatted like two sisters about life and some random things, and you can just text her if you have any questions! I will definitely recommend her to do your micro-blading. :) read more
