I've always wanted to get my eyebrows done professionally and i did a big research trying to find the best specialist. Unfortunately in terms of results i did not had a good experience and since its a expensive service I was expecting way more, i got my eyebrows done in june and by august they were completely gone, washed out and back to normal, i will have to go back for a touch up and see what can be done about it but since it did not meet the expectations and it is a expensive service i would not risk going back and would not recommend it. Update: I went for my touch up appointment to figured what happened and as we can also see her reply to my review, I continued to be gaslighted. At first by email I was told by Diana that the fading I was experiencing was definitely NOT normal. But now the conversation changed, now she's saying that I actually asked to have this faded and gray result since i asked for a natural look, First of all, I never asked for my eyebrows to look like this, I never asked for this natural look, why would I even pay for a expensive service to have my eyebrows looking just the way they were before, even if i had asked for this "natural look" (which i didn't) this is not how a natural eyebrow should look like, as you can see there is no outline and looks gray. And lastly but VERY important, during my touch up appointment I was pressured and very felt uncomfortable! she was pressuring me to delete this review because this could be bad for her business!!! She tried to negotiate and she was trying to gaslight me to think that this faded result is what I asked! (even though even she said previously that this doesn't look normal) anyways this is my experience and trying to pressure me to delete this review made everything worst! I was a teen in the 90s, which is to say that I plucked the hell out of my brows and am now left with sad thin brows as an adult. I had never even thought of getting permanent makeup, in my mind I thought tattooed eyebrows were those horrible greenish black faded fake looking tattoos you sometimes see on older women. Thankfully a friend set me straight, and suggested I see Diana after I had commented on how great her brows look. I booked an appointment and am sooo happy I did. I no longer wake up in the morning looking strange and brow less (ok not completely but close). You like my brows? Gee thanks, just bought it (at Edgebrows). Diana worked her magic and gave my sparse brows life. I now save 5 minutes a day because I don't have to fill them anymore. Her shop is so clean and makes you feel so relaxed. Even her pens wrote really nicely as I filled out the form. After filling the forms, we went inside to the room where she applied numbing cream, chose color, and shaped my brows based on my bone structure. One of my brows is slightly more arched and one is more straight, so she asked which one I preferred, which I really appreciate. She was able to work with my uneven brows and still manage to get them both even looking. She thoroughly explained the aftercare and gave me a paper to take home that explains how to take care of my brows during the healing process. After healing, I noticed that my brows didn't take the pigment in very well. It looked like nothing has happened to my brows after the scabbing process. I went in for a touch up a few weeks later and we didn't put any numbing cream this time. Diana was once again really precise and detailed on shaping my brows before we proceeded. The pain without numbing cream was tolerable and again, I felt really comfortable during the whole process. Diana gave me a different ointment instead to use after my touch up. My brows has been healed for almost a month now, and the results are beautiful. My right brow took the color a little better than my left, but it's not too noticeable. If you open your eyes (which hard to not move and keep closed for 2 hours, her tone is pretty aggressive). The aftercare instructions are not clear, and her commutation style is not great for an artist. On top of this, my eyebrow are really thicker than I wanted and not even. The left side looks very funny and I don't like the look. I was asking for something natural and it looks really fake. During the whole process, she complained about my pigment (as if I could do anything about it). Now she recommends a third touch up, of course for more money after I paid 500$ for something that doesn't look close to what I wanted. I do not recommend. read more
