If you don't want to have red brows like me. Don't go to this place. Kristin told me her inks would not turn red. They turned red after 1 year. I called them not only they didn't apologize they said it is like that, and told me to go back and pay them again to get it done again. She is sooooooo expensive but not worth a penny. Don't go to her!

Unfortunately, I won't be coming back. I came here 2 days ago for my free color touch up. There's the usual 30 minute wait for Mei. When I went into the room she didn't draw on my eyebrow like she did the first time. I thought it was ok since the shape of my eyebrows were still there for her to follow from the previous visit. BUT was I wrong?! When she finished my eyebrows, I noticed INSTANTLY that my brows were uneven. My right eyebrow was noticeably higher than my left brow. The shape of the two brows were also very different. What happened?! They were not like this the first time! I told her it's uneven and she told me she was just following the shape of my browbone and that it would be unnatural if the brows were identical. Um, ok, but they are even more unnatural because of how different they are! She then rushed me out and pushed another client into the tiny room. I went outside and called my mom. Right when she walked through the door she said one is way higher than the other. The assistant kept saying how pretty they were and that's the way it's supposed to look. Hey, I understand if it's my first time and there's no shape for Mei to follow. But this is not my first time. How did it turn out correctly the first time and then different the second? Then to shut me up, she gave me a pencil to draw in what I want to change. Right when I laid back down in the chair, she kept complaining that my face is uneven and she was just doing her job and we don't understand because we are not in the business. She then proceeded to tell me that she doesn't know how to fix it and not to come back to her for my brows. She was unwilling to fix her mistake and kept complaining that she's not responsible for it. Even after she "fixed" my brows, she kept complaining about how it looks ugly and different after she "fixed" it. Oh please. I'm so pissed right now. My eyebrows are uneven in height and length too! The left one is now a cm longer than the right one. Thanks, Mei.

You don't want horrible brows like this. Done by a previous person before I found Mei!

Love Mei!! I am so glad I found her. Just saw her last weekend after my last brow tattoo done by Mei 3 yrs ago. She fixed my tattoo'd eyebrows done by another person. It was so bad that I had already gone through 11 laser tattoo removal by the previous person that did my brows. Sadly to say, I did let the owner of the salon and spa to do my brows again since she had the most experience. Well....my brows turned blotchy and grey 12 months later. Not only that, my brow shape was horrible! I had to use concealer to get the shape I wanted. Anyways, long story short. I did my research and found Mei! Heard so many good reviews about her that I decided I needed to see her. 3 years ago, Mei saw my horrible eyebrows and said She would need to remove them in order to give me a natural shape and color. I was very hesitant at first because I had gotten 11 color laser removal in the past. She assured me that her technology was a lot faster and I would only need to laser it 2 or 3 times at the most After 2 removals, Mei tattoo'd my eyebrows and I was soo pleased with her work. She is a natural!!! My mother also got her brows tattoo'd by Mei as well. If you're looking for someone with experience, she is the person! Words can't explain how much she has changed how I look at myself in the mirror now. You don't want horrible brows. I've been there. Trust me! Trust Mei!

5 minutes after! You can see my mascara all messed up because I teared up during the procedure, lol.

Came back 7 years later to get another brow tattoo! ($200) Appointment was today (Saturday) for 10:45am. 10:40 am: The receptionist checked me in and put numbing cream on my brows 11:10 am: I went in for the tattoo 11:30 am: Done! The pain was a 6.5/10 but it was definitely tolerable (I just kept thinking about how nice my brows would turn out after the procedure - this got me through it!). My nose tickled again when she did my right brow. I have really sensitive skin so I swelled up and bled a little. After the procedure, you'll be given a cream to apply twice a day for 3 days. Also, don't wear makeup over your brows for at least a week. Wash them gently! Tips: - Parking sucks! I actually parked 4 blocks away but the walk wasn't so bad. Your best bet is to find a spot that's further away, rather than circling the same block 20 times. - Bring a hat! Your brows are going to be one fire after the procedure and you might want to limit sun exposure. (This will also hide your swollen brows from the public, haha!). Overall, I'm pretty happy with the shape and can't wait for the final results!

I brought my cousin and friend in for brows...WOW! talk about major difference and sooooo pretty (i'll post their pics up when they email it to me)! They're both very happy with it! I even sucked it up and retouched both my eyeliner and eyebrows. My word of advice: if you're thinking about getting both done, just do it the same day cause after your eyeliner is done, you wont even feel the pain with your brows. And again...ITS SO WORTH IT. Its just 15 min of pain for years of beauty (and not having to do your make up)!

I came here to get my eyebrow tattoo. This was my first time getting it done so I was kind of anxious. I walked in on time for my appointment and one of the girls helped me apply numbing cream while I wait for Mei. My esthetician was Mei, I believe she is the owner. She was very quick at doing my brows and before the procedure, she made sure that the shape she drew on me with a pencil is exactly what and how I wanted. I got my eye brows done around 30 minutes and she supplied me with this cream to help my wound heal faster. I paid $250 for my eyebrow tattoo and I think it is fairly priced. When I was finished , the receptionist also made an appointment for me a month later for complimentary touch up on my brows. I love my brows and I'm glad I came here! However, parking in the city is always a headache so uber/lyft here if you can.

I recently had my eyebrows micro-bladed; I am so happy with the results. They look absolutely natural, are perfectly symmetrical, and are of equal shape and color. I have received numerous compliments and have handed out several Faces Plus cards. I highly recommend going to miss K if you want 100% perfection. I will be going every year to her for my re-touch if needed. Thank you so much for making so happy!!! Marie

I really didn't want to write a negative review for this establish but i am SO disappointed in the outcome of my brows. I came here many years ago and got the regular eyebrow tattoo by Mei. Fast forward to 2016, I get microblading by Kristin. The first session came out ok. There were a few things that needed to be touched up which is normal. I went in a few weeks ago to get my touch up and i wish i never went back. The touch up left one perfect brow and one totally opposite brow. I sent them emails with pictures to show how uneven it was and they insisted "It's not that bad. Brows are never meant to be perfect." I know that we are our own worst critic and I probably think it's worst than what other people think but in this case, I beg to differ. One brow is longer in width and the inner brow is lower than the other. It's not even the same shape! I sent them emails and they called back reassuring me that "it's not that bad." No, it is that bad! Come one, it's on my face. It's not some regular tattoo i can cover up. They eventually told me to come in and Mei will be able to "erase" some of it off. Wow, that's sounds like a miracle. Nope. I went in to get this "fixed" but what it really turned out to be was a waste of time and money (had to take uber there. parking is ridiculous). Mei still does brows the same way as I mentioned in my previous review, rushed! The receptionist brought me into the room where Mei was and soon as I was told to have a seat, she brought out the laser and started lasering away! The receptionist told her which area it was and Mei kept saying, "oh yeah, small, very easy." She lasered the general area of the brow. After about 10-15 seconds, she said she was done. I looked in the mirror and she missed the main part... the inner tip of the brow. This is very frustrating. For something that cost $680, this is NOT acceptable. The purpose for me to get microblading done was that I can cut time out in getting ready in the morning as most of you do however this has caused me to take more time to get ready in the morning because I have to apply make up to cover up and even out the brow. Kristin is very nice and so is the receptionist Coco but the brow job was so disappointing given that it was highly recommended by some friends. THANK goodness for make up and how it's not permanent.

After three previous…read morerhinoplasties and dealing with my overly crooked nose and deviated septum, I expected him to tell me--like other plastic surgeons had over the years--to leave my flawed nose alone. To my surprise, after his assistant took pictures from all angles and he examined my nose, he said he could help me and that I was a good candidate! Two months ago, I underwent revision rhinoplasty with Dr. Kim, and I'm extremely happy with the results. He guided me every step of the way regarding what to expect from the surgery. Firstly, he informed me that my nose would be swollen and appear "big" for several months and that it might take up to 1-2 years to settle into its expected shape. He also mentioned that some asymmetry would remain, but that it would be significantly improved. Even while still swollen, I can see a huge improvement, and I've already received compliments from three friends about my new nose. I can breathe better now and have less sinus discharge. Most importantly, I no longer feel self-conscious about my nose. Each day, it seems to be getting a bit smaller, which is exciting. The renditions he provided of what my new nose would look like closely match how my nose appeared right after surgery before the swelling began. I would recommend Dr. Kim to anyone unhappy with their nose. I only wish I had found him sooner.

He had the nerve to accuse me of having BDD and said 90% of his patients have BDD - when in reality he just didn't want to take fault for his lack of aesthetics. I do not recommend Dr Kim for revision rhinoplasty. I wish I had studied his before and afters longer and trusted my gut when his morph looked terrible. I avoid mirrors and still get nausea from the total identify loss his lack of communication and style has caused me. He took liberties on things we never talked about. Worst part is my breathing is still not better after enduring 6.5 hour surgery.

I've been coming here for about 8 years now, not so much because I particularly like this place but…read morebecause I like to make getting a facial a routine (about once a month). Jenny's Skin Care is an appointment-based business. One of my biggest issues here is the waiting. Even if I have an appointment, I still start 10 minutes after my appointment time (sometimes an additional 10-20 minutes if she's running late). Sometimes if she's overbooked, she tends to rush your procedure and isn't as thorough. Finding her business can be a bit tricky. It's one of the several businesses inside a building for Far East Trading Co. The other businesses in the first floor sell mostly the cheap clothing/jewelry that you'll find in all other Chinatown stores. There should be a banner out front for Jenny's Skin Care, but it can be easily missed with everything else hanging outside. In order to see the actual entrance for Jenny's Skin Care, you have to walk into the first floor of the Far East Trading Co. building and head straight down the narrow walkway/hallway (the businesses are lined up along both sides of the walkway). Walk all the way almost at the end of the hallway and you'll see a single glass door on the right where you'll see a banner identical to the one on the outside of the building. If the glass door is locked, you're going to have to call the number provided on the door (or the number from the banner that can be seen through the glass door) to reach Jenny so she can unlock it for you. If the glass door is unlocked, then head into the hallway and up the stairs that lead to another glass door, where you'll see Jenny's desk, couches, shelves of skincare products, and magazines in a clear coffee table in the lobby area. Jenny is the owner and performs all the facials. (Jenny's Skin Care also has a person that does body laser treatments that reduces visible fat & sculpts, but I have never tried these treatments because they're pricey and, for the most part, only the elderly women in Chinatown use this treatment.) Her facials are very helpful in removing pimples, preventing acne scarring, and cleaning my face thoroughly. She first steams your face to open your pores, and while this is going on, she may clean your face and/or put a cooling gel-like substance on dry parts of your face so the hot steam doesn't make your face burn. Then she uses a two sided metal stick (one end has a sharp-tipped needle and the other end is looped) to poke and pluck those pimples/whiteheads/blackheads out. She has other numerous machines that help with the procedure, such as one that helps close up the open wound from larger pimples, one that helps remove difficult blackheads that she couldn't scrape out, and so on. She is very understanding of the pain you're undergoing during this procedure and checks with you to see if you can handle her doing it anymore. She stops immediately if you tell her or give her any indication that you can't take it. It helps that she plays some soft jazzy/light rock/romance instrumental music in the background during facial procedures. (For older women, she also helps massage neck & shoulders in addition to the standard massaging of the face like all other customers.) Next, Jenny prepares a custom mask for your skin type, and after she spreads it evenly over your face, she'll leave you to rest (I typically sleep) for 20-30 minutes so the mask can set and work its magic. This part of the facial experience is usually a hit or miss for me. I can sometimes have a very peaceful, calming half hour sleeping through soft, soothing music; other times, I'll be trying to rest/sleep but won't able to because I can hear Jenny and other customers/visitors speaking very loudly in the lobby area (normal volume for those who speak Chinese). Jenny speaks very little English so addressing your concerns to her in English might not always work. After roughly half an hour has passed, she will return to wipe the mask off your face and apply any finishing touches (additional moisturizer, creams for acne, etc.) before you get up to pay and head out. My facials typically cost around $60 each, but my family members have been sharing a prepaid package for years and that rate may be a result of that package price. Moreover, my facial is a standard/basic one (for the everyday issues such as oily T-zone, dry areas on cheeks, occasional blackheads/whiteheads that need to be removed, acne issues, and so on). I know that other middle-aged women have come in to be treated with anti-aging kind of procedures and those can run $80 or more. All of Jenny's products are Asian brands, but they're very well-known trusted brands (i.e., T&J, SK-II, etc.). Overall, I'd recommend giving her facial a try (I can't argue with the results). If you liked any of the products she used, ask for a sample! Also ask for validation on the 1st hour for your parking stub from Washington Sq. parking lot!

We had a consultation where we tried colors and had her draw in what the shape would be. Once she knew what I wanted we scheduled the service (which includes a retouch 4 weeks after). Veo is very personable, she treats you like a close friend and will make you laugh! I'm not gonna say the process in painless but I will suggest taking a pain killer beforehand. I'm so in love with my new brows by Veo! Btw she gives wonderfully thorough facials with tons of facial manipulation, microdermabrasion extractions, high frequency, and microcurrent. The products are professional-grade Dermologica. Schedule your appointment online

While Glow is not a full service day spa, the treatments (facials and massages) are high quality and reasonably priced. All of my experiences have been positive, but I have particularly enjoyed my facials with Lisa. She is friendly, skilled and honest (she lets me know when she thinks I won't benefit from a particular add-on service). My skin has become healthier since I started getting regular facials from Lisa at Glow (I typically get the microdermabrasion facIals, but I've also gotten chemical peels).
