Unfortunately, the experience wasn't very pleasant. As the technician was threading my eyebrows, I noticed a strong curry smell on her hands. It was distracting enough that I found myself holding my breath throughout the appointment. I also followed Amar from her previous location in Serramonte, which shows how much I trusted their work. However, over time I've noticed a decline in quality. I'm not sure if it's because they've built a loyal clientele or something else, but the attention to detail just isn't what it used to be. It's especially disappointing considering the prices have gone up. I completely understand inflation and don't mind paying more, but when prices increase, the quality should stay consistent or improve, not decline. I've since taken my business elsewhere. I'm paying more now, but it's worth it for consistent results and not having my eyebrows come out uneven.

When I got home, I noticed red lines and marks around my eyebrows near my eyelids that I had not expected. The area is healing today, but I'm very concerned that it may leave a scar. This was extremely disappointing and upsetting, especially for something that should have been a routine eyebrow-threading service. I personally will not be going back and would not recommend this place based on my experience. I hope they take more care with customers' skin and the threading technique in the future.
