I absolutely love Rachel! I literally feel so beautiful ever since going to her and getting my lashes done. Rachel is also the nicest / most generous girl ever. My bf and I are new to SF and she recommended us so many spots and even remembers what I said I was gonna do over the weekend the last time we met. She really cares! Ok and then a few things I love about the lashes - 1. The lashes are SO SOFT. Rachel's lashes are super soft, never irritated my eyes, and very lightweight as well. As a result they look very natural, in the best way! People sometimes ask me if they're my real lashes. I wish! 2. She customizes looks for you and also listens to what you want. Ever since my first visit, Rachel has always been super attentive to what I want and what would work best on me. She prioritizes the look more than anything. 3. She is also very efficient. The lashes are perfectly applied ( I have a small bald spot on my eyelid and she somehow hides it very very well, other lash techs usually just blame it on my bald spot lol) and she can get a hybrid refill done in an hour with no problem. I've been going to Zoe since before she opened her own little studio and I LOVE what she does to open my eyes up more. Zoe is not only a great lash aesthetician but also a keen listener and a great friend. Although on the pricier side, I could not recommend her service enough, as she makes sure you are all comfortable and ready for an hour (or more) of absolute relaxation or having heart-to-heart conversations (real talk is sorely needed in this busy world!). Zoe's little studio is currently tucked in a cozy room in the European Skin Care Studio on Sutter St., and the ambiance is always very relaxing. She always has soft music playing in the background, and the room is very brightly lit and tastefully decorated like a girl's fantasy room come true. Zoe has a wide selection of lash types, lengths, and has sensitive and regular glues, as well as beauty products and supplements for healthier lashes. She is able to accommodate you no matter what your request is and I love the cat eye flare she always does my lashes in! That moment when you realize-anyone and I mean anyone can have long, lustrous and sexy lashes as long as it is done by Rachel. I was stunned - I've always thought that I have to accept the fact that my lashes are nearly non-existent - straight and sparse. Rachel is a true-miracle worker. The process itself is 90 minutes - however the 90 minutes seemed so short. Rachel is so personable and easy-going that the time itself went so fast . She is a master of her craft. Her work is meticulous. Also- I want to point out that Rachel is so gorgeous, she is well put-together- her makeup and lashes are flawless ...why is this important ? - well because - would you hire a trainer that didn't look fit or healthy - you'd want to hire a trainer that is cut and have abs, right? Because you'd want to aspire to be that trainer one day...Same thing for make-up and lashes - you know she is a pro! Her studio is airy and absolutely pleasant. SO much love for Rachel! I used to go to another lash salon which is where I met her. I had been getting my lashes done for probably 4 or 5 years by that salon and my natural lashes were having trouble. That was until I met Rachel Zoe! She talked straight to me about what I needed to keep my natural lashes healthy. Now, not only do I have beautiful lashes that last for 3 to 4 weeks but I also have a great foundation of healthy natural lashes. That's not all though, she's a fast worker. At the other salon, I was there for so long I had the opportunity to have my lashes done by practically every estheticians they employ. Rachel's skill left them all in the dust. Three things put her in the top, I always walked out of the appointment with full, thick, beautiful lashes, those lashes stayed thick and full till my next appointment 3 weeks later and my natural lashes stayed healthy. If we're only speaking financials, she way out performed her peers every time. Never fail. I'm not made of money. Before I met Rachel there were times I would need to go back a week later for a touch up because the estheticians messed up and half the lashes fell out or I had bald spots where the estheticians doubled up lashes and my naturals fell out. I never needed to do that once Rachel started working on me. I can't say enough about her. She has a kind, generous heart and she's the best in SF at what she does. I always feel so pretty when I get up from her table and I have received SO many compliments on my lashes over the years because they look both lush and natural ! I'm not sure what her secret is -- products, technique or a combination of the two -- but I only have to go every three weeks for fills (I've had other experiences where they fall off after only a week or so).
