Very nice & studio is very cute but No emergency eye flush on premises- !! IGlue did get into my eye & i freaked out. Eyelash glue is a toxic adhesive. And yes i have severe energy limiting disease so its taken me a while to write. The ultimate results were beautiful. Everyone is very nice, easier neighborhood to navigate since it's not chaos. What kind of glue do they use? Am terrified to ask. I could smell it strongly too. There is Clearly zero medical training in eye anatomy & safety. Also noticed there was No air purifier to suck out formaldehyde or VOC fumes. l had to have a discussion for 15 minutes to flush my eyes but that never happened. Was told "not to worry. " Ladies these are your eyes-your vision. If your tear ducts block with glue you are going to damage your eyes . I had already read the amazing reviews on Yelp, so I knew I was in for a great experience. The manager and Bella were both very communicative through Yelp messaging, responding quickly and making the booking process seamless. I mentioned that I had lashes done at another place and wasn't sure if we should remove them or keep them. Bella recommended removal since the lashes were a different material, and I absolutely agreed--especially once I felt how much softer the ones she used were compared to my previous set. She made sure I was comfortable throughout the process, leaving the heater on in the room so I didn't need a blanket or jacket. Even the lash removal was a surprisingly pleasant experience! She used a crème-based remover, unlike the previous place I visited, and it felt more like relief than anything else. The entire process was so relaxing that I actually fell asleep twice. Overall, this was a traumatic experience marked by poor communication, lack of consideration , and most importantly a lack of knowledge about how to handle eye irritation and burning. I booked a last-minute lash extension appointment with Princess Lash and specifically requested a 1 to 1 lash application because I wanted a very natural look. Toward the end of the appointment, my right eye started burning intensely. The technician responded by placing a small fan in front of my eye, assuming that cool air would help. Instead, it made the burning worse so I asked her to stop. I told her that something, possibly the product they used, must have gotten into my eye. She insisted that nothing had and continued suggesting the fan, which I refused since it was clearly not helping. She kept saying my eye looked normal and that she hadn't done anything wrong, but that wasn't the point, my eye was burning, and it was very real. She then offered to remove the lashes, which I declined, not because I wanted to keep them, but because removing them would involve using more products, and I didn't want to risk further irritation. Because we were not able to communicate effectively, she called her boss. I explained the situation, but the response was defensive, he emphasized their years of experience and said this had never happened before. Again, that missed the point: my eye was burning, and something clearly caused it. At that point, I decided to pay for the service and go see an eye doctor. The next day, I saw my doctor. The burning had decreased but was still present. The exam came back normal, but she confirmed that this probably caused by something that came into contact with my eye. She also explained that using a fan in this situation is actually a poor decision, as it dries the eye and can make irritation worse. It's a terrible decision. Additionally, she said that not removing the lashes was the right call, as it could have further aggravated the eye. Overall, I believe technicians should be better trained on how to handle situations like this. It's critical. As the lashes began to fall out (as expected), I also noticed that not all of them were 1:1 as requested--some were double lashes. I will say that the final result did look natural and beautiful. However, considering the entire experience, I cannot recommend this place. This was too much stressful. read more

I got a wispy volume set - double C curl and went for a cat eye style. I've gotten my lashes done at other spots throughout the Bay Area and love how quick and efficient they are, especially for a full set. In the past, I had lash techs who were not able to give me exactly what I wanted--but here at Princess Lash, she gave me something even better than I envisioned. The prices are super reasonable too! I paid $15 (wispy) + $167 (volume full set with new client discount) = $182 for a full set! FYI they do prefer payment with Venmo or cash. Be prepared! I will absolutely be back! I stopped by Princess Lash to get a full hybrid set while my regular lash artist was out of town. The studio is clean and cute, the artist is professional and polite, and the prices are reasonable. However, I thought that the lash extensions themselves were quite thick and heavy, which caused two issues: 1) they looked pretty unnatural, and 2) once my natural lashes grew out a bit, the ends of the extensions started poking my eyelids which was quite irritating and sometimes painful (just to clarify, this was at around the 2 week mark and not at the time this review was written, which is 7 weeks after my visit). I had previously not encountered this problem as my other artist uses much lighter, thinner extensions. I didn't have any issues with the extensions falling out prematurely (which was particularly impressive since I was traveling for a week), but not sure I'll be back. read more

EDIT: in response to the businesses response: yes my photos are from 2 weeks after my appt but that's not what i was referring to when i posted the images. clearly you did not read my review clearly; the BLACK glob on the bottom lash is LASH GLUE. the WHITE dots are my LASH ROOTS from lashes that were pulled out from IMPROPER ISOLATION still attached to the extension in addition to another NATURAL lash. Wasn't going to write a review but my experience here was not good. I had paid for a volume set and received hybrid at best. i didn't even get most of my lashes worked on and my inner and outer corners had little to no lashes put on. at the end of my service, i had a lash stuck to my bottom lashes, this happens and is totally normal but after she detached it, there was a glob of glue stuck to my bottom lash that i still have 2 weeks later. as soon as it was time to pay she rushed me out and i could tell she was uneasy about her work because she kept trying to reassure me saying it looked like the picture. i had not complained or anything, just paid and left. my lashes didn't look BAD but after about a week i inspected my lashes closer and found that there was a handful of lashes not properly isolated and they were stuck to multiple of my lashes. definitely would not recommend this place as whoever i saw (she did not give me a name) does not know how to properly or safely do lashes. all the reviews photos looked great but unfortunately mine upon closer inspection proved that i had been improperly lashed which caused damage to my natural lashes. very unfortunate because the salon itself looked very nice and was peaceful. read more

I was in a very frantic state of finding a reputable eyelash place for my granddaughter who starts school tomorrow. Luckily I came across this business on Yelp. I read the reviews I liked what they had to say so I called. The lady who answered the phone was very understanding I asked when her next opening would be she said tomorrow. I said by any chance would you have something today. She said if you could come by at 6:30 we would do the lashes. I was so happy. The business was very clean the technician was awesome, the pricing was great. My granddaughter loved her new lashes. They did an outstanding job. The prices were also very reasonable. We had gone to other places and the cost was so much higher and the work was not really up to par. I will certainly come to this place again. I dislike places that are quick to make your appointment and take your money but won't respond to issues. I had my appointment on Thursday to get one of my eyelashes straightened because it curls into my eyelid. It looked great as I was leaving, a lil bit slanted to right but not big enough for me to care. I woke up yesterday, Friday, and it was REALLY slanted to the right, I texted the tech and asked her if she had time to fix it. She responded that she was booked then ignored all my texts after that. She loved taking $135.00 for working on one eye and thanked me for tipping well and assured me to contact with any issues, THEN ignore my texts when I actually contact for an issue. This was my first time ever getting lash extensions, and Bella made my first time a lovely experience. She's seriously the best!!! Scheduling/responsiveness: It was extremely easy to schedule an appointment. I was actually stunned at how responsive she was, since my inquiry had been sent out pretty late at night (I was looking at friends' lash photos and finally couldn't resist trying myself). I got a response from Bella within probably the first 5 minutes of my message going out. She provided her soonest availability and gave clear information re pricing plus the first time customer discount. I appreciated how transparent she was regarding pricing upfront, since it's always a pain to have to keep digging around for that info. In-person experience: Bella was *super* sweet in person! I got there a bit early, and she was able to start our session right away. I wasn't familiar with the different kinds of options available for lash extensions, so she talked through the difference between natural lashes and hybrid lashes, lengths, shapes, etc. and showed a little examples so I could see how different lengths would look. We settled on hybrid lashes at 12 mm, and you can see the results in the photos below. The whole process finished up way more quickly than expected. We were done in just a little more than an hour, which was exactly what she had estimated when we settled on what kind of extensions we'd been doing at the start of the session. She was super mindful of the time, and the process was so smooth I ended up dozing off. (Lil embarrassing for me since I kinda...snore when I sleep on my back, haha) She made sure that I was comfortable every step of the way and even had a blanket ready when I started feeling a little nippy. Results: I was *super* stoked when I saw the final results, which you can see in the attached photos. It took me a second to get used to how they looked, because I was like whoa this is a huge upgrade from how I looked when I originally walked into the salon bare-faced and haggard. With just the lash extensions on, I already feel pretty made up. I don't have to put on eye makeup anymore, heheh. It's only been a day, but it's looking like I'll only need to slap on some tinted moisturizer and dab a little bit of highlighter at the corner of my eyes - 2 mins and voila, ready to go about my day.
