Online in reviews and discord people are sharing they paid sub $100 for cherry angioma removal but for some reason they quoted me "starting at $175+". When I asked for why the almost double in price they sent a generic, everyone is different but never explained why my request was. I asked if we could work something out on price or if I should look elsewhere and she immediately said go elsewhere. Very weird, not good customer experience. Be wary of what you'll be paying! She is ultra-cautious about health considerations: wears a mask and face shield while the client is present, takes the client's temperature, and insists on the client washing hands and gargling with an antibacterial mouthwash prior to the service. 5 stars is right! I was looking for someone to remove the moles on my face. Did some Yelping and came across Pure Essentials! Lina is such a sweetheart. The space is clean, inviting, and welcoming. She accepts cash, card, and PayPal! In total, I got about 18 moles removed! Make sure you get your moles checked out by a dermatologist/doctor beforehand. Lina explained how it worked and kept me calm through the whole process. She used a pen-like electrode that burned off my moles. Immediately after, the places she went over turned into scabs. She gave me some ointment to put on the scabs when they got dry. It took about 2 weeks before the scabs fell off. Once they came off, they look like dark spots (after a pimple you touched healed). I've also been coming to Lina for facials and my skin has improved so much. I don't recommend her enough! read more

This is my long overdue review for Lina and Pure Essentials. I always need to make a long story longer, so this is what happened: My whole life I had amazing eyelashes, they were long and dark and people always thought I was wearing mascara when I wasn't. I lived an eyelash fairytale. Then I hit my 30's and my faithful eyelashes - the one thing I could count on, betrayed me! My eyelashes started turning grey/blond. For the first time in my life I had to use mascara. Let me tell you kids, it went from bad to worse. By the time I hit my 40's you couldn't even tell I had eyelashes! My friend suggested eyelash extensions. I went to an eyelash person and I was HOOKED!!! She was great and super nice but really flaky and apparently didn't own a calendar - for every appointment I booked, she made 1 out of 3. I am self-employed and for me to take off a few hours a day is HUGE. I would get to her studio and then I would get a text, "so sorry, forgot about our appointment, I'm in the East Bay". I adored her but could no longer tread her flaky path. Then I found Lina (insert heavenly music here) I found Lina on Yelp of all places (btw - I HATE Yelp) and let me tell you Lina is incredible! Lina is ALWAYS on time, I'm not kidding you - in two years she has never been late, ever! She is so good her lash jobs last about 3-4 weeks! Not only that she is so darned sweet!
