I passed this coffee shop and decided to try it out. It's a cute coffee shop. There is seating area, a gift shop, pastries and of course coffee. Their chai tea latte is so smooth, it almost taste like a shake when iced. I liked it so much I went back to try their Matcha Tea Latte. I felt like there wasn't enough matcha. It was more of a milky consistency. Next time I'll ask for extra matcha to see if it makes a difference. Im in love with their ham and cheese crossiant, roasted of course. Definitely going back here again.

Dishonesty and laziness We came in not knowing it was 15 Minutes before closing (we came in around 4:30 pm) my friends and I all ordered cafe au le s , my coffee was okay but I guess they were running out and instead If just simply saying that to us , my boyfriends coffee was essentially the last of the drip coffee with a lot of hot water added to his cup . So even though he payed full price for his size of coffee and generously tipped he got a cup of hot water with a splash of coffee and steamed milk to top it off . I understand the barista may have not wanted to make a whole new pot of drip coffee before closing but she didn't consider the fact that we May have not wanted to pay for "I can't believe it's not coffee" . We would have respected her honesty had she simply told us there wasn't enough for three cups. Now we will probably rather pay more somewhere else .

Small coffee shop with a very friendly owner! Coffee is very good, loved that the cappuccino is under $5 which is increasingly hard to find these days. The coffee was lukewarm but the froth was so creamy it made up for it. There's hardly any seating so would probably recommend taking your coffee to go. read more

I love to support local businesses when I can. Vex has great coffee and it's fresh. When I went, there was only one guy working. It didn't even take long to get my coffee, and he was a nice guy. The place is small and has a darker themed vibe to it but is a cool spot. I'm not sure it's a place to come do work, but a great place to get fresh coffee read more

This is one of the most welcoming cafes I have been to in NYC! The coffee and pastries are amazing and the staff is super friendly and knowledgeable! It's definitely a must visit whenever in Brooklyn or nearby (right off the L train!). And the guy behind the counter looks like Ricky Martin! read more

This is my favorite one of spot for coffee in this area. I visited my friend house pretty open and this place is good for ice americano or Latte. I always requested them to less ice for my coffee. Pretty small place and very limited seat. Very clean place and the staffs were super duper friendly. They're remembered me and asked me how was my visited or wether or we chatted about where I lived. They both have been visited my city and it was nice talked with them. Also they've some of juices as renew or balanced. I've been tried all of them but my favorite are renew drink also my friend drink that after drunk and my friend said it felt like good for relived hangover. I always forgot to bring coupon there and they give me new coupons few times. I am a huge fan of coffee and sweets. They muffin also great too. Cute place,owner seemed sweet. However we were desperate for a bagel as we were getting a late start to our Sunday. We should have turned and walked when they pulled those sorry bagels out of the plastic sleeve. $4.50 for a grocery store bought bagel ( bet all of them cost less ). Asked for 2 triple shot lattes but received 2 single shot espresso . This was fixed but bit before it was the young girl making the coffee tried to convince us 3 shots fit in that tiny cup ....smh). Great local place with a warm husband wife team that also employs a warm barista. Coffee is SMOOTH! I have reflux and this coffee doesn't aggravate it. The horchata latte is great too. Support local especially during Covid. read more

This is my favorite cozy corner of the neighborhood. A cafe as warm as the community, this is the ONLY CAFE to serve HORCHATA and CACAO LATTES, fusing my love of Horchata, Cocoa and Coffee with a splash of cinnamon on top. I love this place. Love their coffee, not too acidic. Cute and intimate environment, but prices are steep for what it is. A Dixie cup of coffee is 3.50...I work a block away and would come here more if prices were a little more reasonable (and I frequent coffee shops on the daily). read more

They charged me $4 for a cup of regular coffee, that tastes like coffee you'd get at any deli. Everywhere else in the neighborhood (including the more DIY coffee shops like Variety or Milk and Pull) charge half of this. Overcharging like that can almost guarantee people won't come back because it's dishonest. read more

A cute local coffee shop. I had the Chai Latte and it was excellent. The decor and vibe of the shop is very nice and there are a ton of things that catch your eye. The owner/manager has been very helpful and inviting. I am a big fan of finding a coffee shop with a good vibe and this place has it. I can definitely work on my computer or read here for hours. A server brings your food to your table once it is ready, it only took about 5-7 minutes for our food to arrive. I ordered the "All the Way" burger, their classic smash burger with mustard, diced onions, dill pickles, and cheese, along with fries and a gluten-free bun. The total came to about $17, including tax and tip. The burger was delicious. Smash burgers are my favorite, and this one was cooked perfectly with crispy edges while still moist. I also really appreciate that they offer a gluten-free bun. The burger and fries were a satisfying portion without feeling overly heavy. This is a casual spot, but it consistently delivers delicious food at a reasonable price. If you are looking for a classic smash burger in the neighborhood, I would recommend. I will certainly be back!

MY GUY , Jon helped me out. He ushered me in, got me the wifi, and prepared A GOD damn masterpiece of a drink. 10/10 will come back. Someone get this man a raise. The location has great seating for working and an aesthetic that contributes to productivity. Thanks VEX! read more
