All-vegan Vietnamese place with an extensive menu filled with of creativity, going way beyond traditional Vietnamese dishes.
After too much deliberating, I just went with their sweet & sour udon noodle soup (large: €16.90; small: €13.90), which comes with tofu, soy BBQ pork, vegan shrimp, bok choy, snap peas, carrot, baby corn, and obviously udon noodles.
The soup came out in under 10 minutes and was delicious. The mock BBQ pork (seitan) was particularly awesome. The broth was perfectly balanced, only lightly sweet but mostly savoury. There were lots of veggies and everything was cooked perfectly. Honestly couldn't really ask for better.
I capped off the meal with a Vietnamese coffee (€4.50), which of course takes a while but prepared perfectly.
They did charge me €0.50 for tap water--gotta love parts of Europe for that.
All in all, top-notch place. read more
