Come here for delicious vegan food. We enjoyed the goulash, schnitzel, and a beyond burger with roasted potatoes. For desert we had a phenomenal vegan Mascarpone torte. Everything here is simply delicious. The staff here are super friendly and clearly enjoy what they do. This restaurant is cash only. There are cash machines nearby just in case. Beautifully cosy spot; excellent music; sumptuous food; friendly wait person. I've had Beyond Burgers before, other places, but just adored this one with pickles and kraut. Except it was huge. While the ambience was good and the service adequate we were very disappointed with the food. I ordered a burger which was slow to arrive and when it did it was stone cold. Buns not heated cheese not melted salad straight from the fridge. The Beyond Meat patty cold. The burger was returned and a fresh one eventually received. This was better but still not overly hot. We noted that a person next to us who ordered a Kebab had to return his for the same reason. A pity as a previous visit to Harvest a number of years ago was a very pleasant experience. Food was alright but very confusing and underwhelming - I came with my husband during our trip to Vienna, and it took a very long time for us to be acknowledged by any of the workers or even given menus. It was lunch on a Monday and I was going to order off the menu, but after getting ready to order, the server told us that we could only eat from the buffet during lunchtime. Not what I was hoping but okay... The buffet was pretty limited and you can choose from a small plate/bowl or a large plate/bowl (€9,80). The price only covers one plate so it's not REALLY a buffet, FYI. They had a few cold sides (potato salad, sauerkraut, hummus), and some warm items like pasta, veggies, and stews. I didn't really like how I had to put cold food next to hot food on my plate since they ran together and turned lukewarm. I came for dinner just as the sun was setting. The restaurant inside is warm and inviting, and the outdoor seating overlooks a quiet street that's perfect for early evening coffee or dinner. It was a little chilly once the sun had set, and they have blankets for you to use! I ordered a glass of Austrian rose and vegan schnitzel. Both were wonderful! They also had some vegan desserts. I am absolutely mind blown! I'm a vegetarian who has been trying to eat more vegan for a while, but I have never been able to find anything that was really really good. Now I have! Harvest is absolutely amazing! Cosy atmosphere, super friendly staff and owners, and the food is so so good, it's hard to believe that it's vegan. I had the vegan Gulasch, which is absolutely mind blowing. It tastes so real that I asked the poor waiter twice if it was actually vegan. Simply delicious and highly recommended! Came in for the all-vegan brunch on the weekend. As an omnivore I'm always interested as to what deprived vegans have for breakfast, and the choices are excellent. Price is 20 euros for the buffet, and you'll find plenty to keep you happy, though if you're not used to saitan, go easy on the dishes that include it until you confirm you're okay with the flavor profile. Harvest is a great place to eat vegetarian (also mainly vegan!!) food. It is truly amazing what you can make out of tofu!!! The food was really good, also for meateaters like me! Wy tryed the Gulasch which tastet surprisingly authentic like a "real" Gulasch, for those who still don't want to let go that only meat can be a proper meal. I have had the buffet with a great couliflower peanut soup... Friendly people have set up the place, you instantly notic that, there is much love in the interieur, its bright, open and welcoming! Let me start off by saying that I did not know this place was a vegan locale. So I was well surprised when I entered! The place looks incredible. Immediately when you enter you realize that this place has its own character and feel. I was even greeted by a dog from one the workers, who huffed and puffed me to my table almost. Even though it was pretty empty (4 tables at most) the staff seemed a bit under pressure. Perhaps it was between lunch and dinner so they were just restocking, cleaning or preparing for the evening. Either way, we gave in our orders and received a very delicious meal. I would say this place is definitely "Preiswert". :) The prices were not extravagant. We enjoyed our beer, meal and even topped it off with a dessert, which really does stand out. I would advise this place for any one really. You dont have to be vegan to try it and secondly you will most probably be surprised with the food. Even better, you dont need to get a meal. Just go for a dessert and drinks. AMAZING!!!!! We called on a Friday morning and were able to order a picnic basket for 2 ready in less than 1 hour. We paid a 50€ deposit for a fully-supplied basket including a blanket and 48€ for a bottle of Prosecco and a delicious variety of yummy vegan cold dishes packed in cute little glass jars. There was more than enough food for two. We rented City Bikes from right across the street and were able to use our own bungee cords to attach the picnic basket to the bike basket. Then we rode over to the Donauinsel and enjoyed our delicious lunch by the river. It was a perfect day! Our only suggestion for the cafe would be to either provide bungee cords along with the picnic basket or smaller baskets that fit in the City Bike baskets just in case people aren't as prepared as we were. Harvest is one of the best vegan restaurants in Vienna. Each weekend or holiday you are able to eat brunch from a buffet. Every food is delicious. There are so tasty that you could live without meat. So good tasts the food and this is saying a person who loves meat. ;) A fun fact: before it has been a vegan bistro it was a local butcher. read more

From the interior point of view, it is a little cozy homy coffee place with a lightly country touch. We went there for a sunday brunch buffet but no reservation. The owner lady (I guess) she was very kind to squeeze us in to a table if we could finish within one hour. As I could see later that she was always trying not to send people without reservations away. I prefer this than just telling us to leave. The staff was good. But the wide range of vegan buffet was the best: different bread, a lot of fresh fruits, cold stuff (humus, salads, grilled veggies...), some main courses (we had pumpkin pie, delicious mushroom ragout, vegan gulash tastes like chicken breast, some curry dishes...), and side dishes (potatoes, vegan scrambled eggs...). I'm not a vegan, still the food was able to kill my appetite for meat, but also more than just satisfying in flavor. Nothing tastes false or artificially. This is a funky little vegan bistro. The woman who owns the restaurant, Viola, is warm, welcoming, and you can just tell the food is made with love. We had the buffet and the gnocchi was delicious, the tofu scramble was terrific, the sweet potatoes were yummy, and the vegan seafood stew great. It is a fun place and there are many vegan cakes to choose from. We had to take ours home since we were too stuffed to eat the cake there. read more

This place was the best vegan place we found in Vienna. It was also so very close to our hotel. We enjoyed the very diverse buffet, with soooo many options to chose from. They even had some vegan " meat cold cuts" to assemble a sandwich... And those "meats" tasted so much better than what we normally get in US. The atmosphere was also amazing... I am not a vegan but while vacationing in Vienna with a vegan friend, we had dinner here. It was delicious. We started with salads, and I had the cheeseburger while my friend had the vegan goulash-type dish. The salads were excellent and fresh even in February. My cheeseburger had a bit of a kick to it and was served with nacho chips. For dessert, my friend ordered a cheesecake that was lemony and did not have any connection to a cheesecake but was tasty. I asked our awesome waiter to surprise me with the dessert selection and he chose tiramisu. The portion was enormous (better for two people maybe) and it was delicious. The food was good but the extra star is for the fantastic waiter (young guy, tattoos on his arm) who was funny and helpful and quite friendly. read more
