A friend and I had breakfast at JOMA a few weeks ago when we were visiting Vienna. We made a reservation (I'm not sure we needed one for breakfast, but it seemed like you might need one for brunch - by the time we left, there were reserved cards on a lot of tables outdoors). We sat on their patio, which was lovely. And the service was great as well. Their breakfast menu has lots of options, probably something for everyone! My friend had their Viennese breakfast (soft boiled egg, butter, jam, honey, organic roll, and organic rye bread), and I had their salmon scrambled eggs (bread with cream cheese, salmon tataki, sea salt, truffle, and cress), which was different than I was expecting but delicious. Find of the day!! Off the tourist pathway, a lovely restaurant/bistro. Modern but cozy ambience, great wine lists and non-alcoholic beverages and AMAZING food! Everything carefully crafted and professionally presented! I had the juicy grilled kalamari with a garlic sauce (very appropriate) and a wok veggie salad. My partner had the Joma sandwich with sweet potato fries. I also had the lemongrass seafood soup, and I had it twice (yes re-ordered it on the same visit) because it was amazing. Ended the meal with a cup of ginger tea (real ginger pieces). All in all, great dining experience, lovely and relaxing ambience and obliging staff. Five stars. read more

Joma is one of my favorite restaurants in Vienna. It's nice and casual with a really modern, chic vibe. The food is really good and they have a lot of awesome salads that actually taste good. Their portions are pretty hefty too so you'll definitely feel full. I usually go for their salmon-tataki salad but this time i got their superfood salad which was great too. My mom got their avocado salmon burger, which was bomb. Instead of buns they use two halves of the avocado to sandwich the salmon. We also always order their Mediterranean potpourri as an appetizer- highly recmend. Service is very meh, nothing special. Remember to call beforehand to reserve a table since their usually pretty full. This place is great for groups too. Honestly it's good for all ocassions and all meals- breakfast, brunch, lunch, dinner, drinks and everything in between. read more

I came here for breakfast and ordered a latte, green juice, and the scrambled eggs with spring onion and tomato. I debated leaving at first because I sat here for ten minutes before I was acknowledged. Maybe it's because I'm here alone and dressed casually, not sure. The juice was great and eggs were excellent. The latte was also good, just pricey! The service is terrible as the restaurant is pretty empty. There's probably 10 servers here and only two other tables near me but I can't flag one down for the life of me so I can pay out. If you're in a rush, don't come. Plenty of time to be ignored? We stopped by Joma while looking around for a nice dinner spot. The staff was very attentive and friendly and sat us immediately while they where very busy with a nice table. Our waiter greeted us very quickly as well and introduced us to many dinner choices. They made the best Schnitzel we have had so far in Vienna. All our dishes were fantastic with bursting of unique flavors. The original Budweiser beer was delicious but my wife wasn't too crazy about her cocktail. We wanted to try Eggs Benedict for the first time and so we chose Joma. We were really surprised on how elegant the restaurant was looking, almost every table was showing a reserved sign, but luckily we wanted breakfast and before 12 so we were shown to a table for two. We ordered our Eggs Benedict and Florentine and didn't have to wait long. The eggs were just perfectly cooked and really good, would've wished for more bread, considering how fat it was. But other than that, perfect! While waiting we were looking around and were really impressed by all the food choices that was listed above the bar and considering how good our breakfast was we're very surely going to go for dinner there sometime soon. read more

Reservations are easy to make and when you specify where you want to sit you typically also get that. They somehow struggle a bit with the sweet potato fries, but everything else tastes very good. Since covid, staff always wears masks - even when the gov said they dont have to! read more

Very nice atmosphere..decently friendly service..food average to high in price. Lamb was on the salty side with strange sweet couscous. Goat cheese salad came with only a handful of lettuce, 3 slices of pear, 3 smalls cheese pieces, and 2 walnuts. Not enough salad for 13 euro. May attempt breakfast but other than that..no thanks! UPDATE-I did go back for breakfast about a month later. I got the french toast and was very disappointed! It was 2 tiny half pieces of white bread with a few slices of strawberries. I ordered a 'Sexy Soda' which was supposed to be a refreshing rhubarb-soda-prosecco-lime drink but it was awful. No rhubarb flavor at all. We came here with great expectations as the reviews had been so positive, but were truly disappointed. We had at least three different waiters coming to our table, still quite to wait for our food and then were surprised how plain the breakfast was. I had the eggs Benedict with avocado, which were ok, but my friends got the vienna breakfast, which really was a joke: a bun, a package of melted butter and jam.
