This turned out to be one of the best restaurants I've been to in my life, vegetarian or not. I got the variation appetizer platter and the lentil entree. Appetizer platter came with a quiche, quinoa on pear, samosa with dip and celery wrap. Everything was seasonal, fresh and had massive flavors. The lentil entree was recommended by the waitress and i loved the use of peppercorn. The potato croquettes were delicately coated in thin layers of sugar and were lovely too. Dessert of chocolate mousse was forgettable and not worth the price tag. Service was delightful and fast, which is quite rare in Wien as I've discovered. Bread isn't free.

The mixed platter was absolutely delicious but definitely good for two people - excellent service

I made a reservation for 1 before coming here and when I arrived there were two empty tables outside. I asked if I could sit at one and they declined saying it was reserved. Okay, got it, so I took a seat inside. No problem. As time went by and I waited on my food, a couple walked up and asked if they could take one of the tables and sure enough, they were accommodated. I believe, because I was solo, they wanted to reserve the outdoor tables for couples. It was a lovely evening to sit outside. I ordered a traditional Austrian dish and I simply did not enjoy the combinations of flavors and textures. I would try something else to see if it was just that dish I did not enjoy. The time came to pay when I was informed that they were cash only. There should be better signage outside and possibly inside stating that it's cash only. I had to go to an atm to get cash out as this was my last evening in town and I didn't have any more cash on me. The meal price went up due to me incurring atm fees. I posted a picture of the "cash" sign they have outside; can be easily missed if you're not looking up. Sure enough when I left, there was still a table available outside. (-_-)

The restaurant is casual and hip hop music played over the speakers during our visit. I ordered the setian steak, and it was fantastic. The setian was perfectly cooked and accompanied by a decadent sauce. Overall, I would recommend Landia for creative vegetarian food in Vienna.

However, when we got there they said their kitchen was backed up and that we'd have to wait at least 30 minutes. Instead, we looked online, crossed the road, and found this place within a block. This is a no-frills Chinese eatery. They have 3 - 4 tables along each wall as you enter. There is a central aisle that takes you up to the counter for to-go orders. The staff is all Chinese. They provided a menu that had a mix of Chinese, German, and English. We were thus able to find a few dishes to share. Three of us split some noodles, fried dumplings, and one or 2 other dishes. We were hungry enough to finish everything. It was quality food. Prices seemed fair. They seemed to do a steady stream of take out as well as what appeared to be locals just stopping in briefly for a bowl of noodles or the like. If you like Chinese food and are just looking for something simple and quick, this is a good choice.

Rest was ok and nothing in particular worth coming back from. Whether it's the water spinach, eggplants, noodles. The best dish which is also just average are the cold sesame noodles. Skip the cold xi an noodle.

How often in life do you say "I really want to eat Nepalese food tonight" ? Okay - I agree - you…read moredon't say it much at all .... but all that will change when you eat at Yak und Yeti. Yak und Yeti is my fav ethnic restaurant in my hood. Everything i ever have eaten there i like. To me Nepalese food is a cross between Northern Indian and Tibetan food. The best night here is Thursday night because it's the night of the Momos Special. Now I could prob eat a 1000 Momos at one sitting if I was allowed and I could add the hot sauce on very liberally. And whenever I feel rich which unfortunately is not very often, I order the Lamb Mansahari dish. The combination of flavours is awesome. Dining inside this restaurant is great - i think the atmosphere is really warm and you get to view many Nepalese artifacts. Or if it's summertime, eat under the festive lights in the Schanigarten. You won't see the Himalayan Mountains but drink a lot of beer with your dinner and maybe you think you see them. And don't miss the entrance. It's down a litttle passage off the Hofmühlgasse. I have friends who have walked right by it and never knew it was there. "Hey I really want to eat Nepalese food tonight!"
