The men observed the proper social distancing regulations currently in place and even made the repair 'non contact' where we paid for the repair by having us call in our credit card number to their office, instead of handing them our credit card. In May, on Memorial Day weekend, the door stopped working. Even though they guaranteed their work (all labor is covered for 30 whole days), the owner insisted that he would not get in his truck and drive to us unless we agreed to pay his emergency service fees (which he would not even tell us how much it would be). While their website and the sticker they placed on my garage door advertise 24 hour emergency service, we needed to call about 10 times in a 2 hour period as their technician (the company owner), stated he didn't feel like getting in his truck. He finally agreed to come, but we decided a few minutes later to cancel them, as the way he yelled at my significant other was not acceptable. He still chose to come, but when he arrived, he decided to block my sidewalk with his truck for 30 minutes, repeatedly call me, and ring my doorbell. Some of the voicemails he left me threatening to call me every 15 minutes all weekend, and generally harassing us, scaring my girlfriend. We continued to get calls from him late into the evening. Three months after MJ installed our garage door springs, one of our door cables failed on a Sunday…read moreafternoon and I couldn't close the door. I contacted Four Seasons. They said that they couldn't come out until the next day to address the problem. I told them that I couldn't leave our garage door open all night. I also told them that I wouldn't trust them to work on our door again, so I had to hire another garage door company to install new cables and install new springs (the springs that MJ installed were the wrong size and caused the cables to fail). I contacted Four Seasons and spoke with Abilash ( a manager). He said that Four Seasons will not take responsibility for this issue because I didn't wait for them to inspect the door. There is nothing I can do now other than advise anyone who has new springs installed (I wouldn't hire Four Seasons to do this work) to make sure they install the right size. Every newer garage door should have a tag attached to the door that specifies the correct spring size for the door. Make sure that you review this with the installer before he installs the new springs.

All the do- it- yourself usual fixes failed. I called Robert Garage Door. The woman who answered the call explained the process, indicated there was no cost for an evaluation and gave me window time frames that a technician would be available. I asked for an evaluation. Within that given time frame, a technician, Nick, called to advise me that he would be arriving in 15 minutes. Nick was personable and professional. He explained the issue that was occurring with my garage door, recommended a solution, and advised me of the cost of the solution. In response to my question, he gave me an estimate of the time required to complete the repairs. In spite of the fact that Nick was working in a hot garage on a day when the heat index was over 100 degrees, he stayed focused and completed the job with his time estimate and for the fee quoted. I respect that man's tenacity and work ethic. Nick was also good at answering my questions about maintaining my garage door. There is nothing good about having a garage door that malfunctions. But once my garage door was broken, dealing with the personnel at Robert's Garage Doors made getting back to normal life as easy as possible. They are a Costco partner so I thought they could be trustworthy. Made the appointment and my wife said she would be around to meet the contractor for the consultation. I was not able to be there. My wife had an emergency come up and wasn't able to be there at all. The contractor decided to take a look on his own. Neither of us were at the property at the time, but we had several tradesmen working on the interior of the building at the time. The Amarr employee decided to enter our garage without consent by forcing a door open. This was all witnessed by the tradesmen working on our building at the time. The Amarr employee wandered around our garage for a while and then pulled his truck into our alley and removed a vintage moped that belonged to us and put it in the back of the truck and drove off. Again this was all witnessed by other people. When we were told about what happened, I called the contractors phone number (I had this because Costco/Amarr has them call you to set up the consultation) he never answered. I called and left many messages, never sayign anything about the moped and I never heard from him again. I called Amarr and they refused to take any responsibility. tl/dr: This company employs criminals who will break into your property and commit larceny. Do not hire them.
