We learned that the old windows were not even windows by today's standards, they were just huge panes of glass that gave no insulation. He measured the windows so quickly (like 2 minutes) that I wondered if the windows world 3 actually fit (they did!). The price was extremely reasonable; we had intended to get three estimates but my mom and I both lined Kris so much we decided to go with him right away. I chose a day for installation when Kris was going to be out of town on vacation so he let me decide if we wait to wait until he got back or if we wanted him to send his right hand man Daniel. We went with Daniel who showed up right on time on a cold morning. I thought removing the old badly cracked panes of glass would be very difficult. I was right but they got the old ones out quickly and the new ones in so fast and they finished about 30 minutes before their estimate. They only removed one window at a time and our house never got cold on a 33 degree day This was one of the best customer experiences for a project I have ever had. I chose EV Windows after asking CharGBT to find me a great window company with very good reviews and I'm so glad I did. I do not have one negative thing to say. I most strongly recommend Kris and his team.

I called them and they were able to send Oscar out right away. They told me to save 60 -90 min for the consultation, which seemed like a lot of time considering every other company just needed 5-10 min of my time. However, i was willing to invest the time for the right doors and right price. Oscar and i met for over an hour. He was super friendly and knowledgeable about all my door options. He brought along a presentation (via his ipad), as well as materials so we got it all done within that hour. The other companies took a lot less, but resulted in a few trips to my house and lots of back and forth via email. I honestly probably prefer the latter since less time all at once. In the end I went with a different company due to price, but thought this company offered a good product at competitive pricing so would be worth looking into them.

All of the other companies we obtained bids from said it couldn't be repaired and quoted 2500 to 3000 for a replacement. Peter came over on a Sunday morning and repaired it expertly. Our front window had a broken sash and required a complete replacement. The replacement cost Peter quoted was a reasonable price and he took out the old damaged window and replaced it with a new one, spending time caulking and finishing the job. Peter responded quickly and provided a quote before beginning the job. I highly recommend Pat Builders.

Jesse opened it up, installed proper backing so the shelves could be bolted in securely, then redid the herringbone tile and matched the existing grout so well you can't tell any repair was ever done. That's exactly the outcome you hope for with tile work. While he was in there, he also fixed a leaking tub spout that required opening another section of wall for plumbing work, then patched and painted it back to seamless. Our door stopped half the way up and my wife panicked! It was late Friday so I thought I would give it a shot and call a Door Company, Allied ! I thought for sure we would be looking at an emergency price! I was told that they could be out first thing in the morning, Saturday! I told them that it could wait until Monday since I had my car already out of the garage. These guys are for real!!! No additional charge for Saturday. Wow, we still decided on Monday because we had plans. Monday morning, Allied showed up as promised and Eric was outstanding! This guy explained everything to my wife and had the new spring installed in less than an hour. He replaced the spring, he made sure the door was alined and lubricated all the rollers. We are so amazed that this door is so quiet now when opening and closing. Allied installed the garage door opener 8 years prior when we moved in and the technician was outstanding then. Not a fly by night or flash in the pan, they have been around awhile! Consistent in providing good products and unbelievable service! As I said before these guys are the real deal!! One of our garage door springs broke and in a pinch, we called Allied Garage Door after getting a few other quotes. Their prices seemed reasonable so we set up an appointment the same day. One of the techs was out here within 2 hours and was very nice, explained what had happened, etc. We moved our cars out of the garage and within about 30-40 minutes, he had replaced both springs. He didn't push us for the second spring but did recommend it, seeing as it could always happen that the new spring could be replaced and the second one could go the next month. For about another $60, we agreed to let him replace both. We spent just over $200 and we were satisfied with the work, the friendliness, and the time frame in which the tech was able to get out here in such a quick fashion. We would recommend this place. Get some quotes (some places "service call cost" does NOT include the cost of the one spring, Allied Garage Door DOES) and choose the best one that may fit your needs or budget. We were satisfied with their service today, though. read more

They were super responsive, very friendly and they fixed the issue. Our door finally became unrepairable. We called Allied again, and again the same thing. I called around to get a few quotes but had a hard time deciding what my home needed and what was a fair price. I luckily had a friend recommend Allied Garage Doors. I spoke to Joe to get a quote from Allied. The service team come to my house the next day and I had a better understanding of what was needed and different price points. I called Allied door on a Friday morning in a panic after my garage door was smashed into by a delivery driver the night before which left me with one vehicle trapped inside the garage and the door severely damaged. I spoke with Joe at Allied and within a few hours they had a crew out to remove the door panels, get the car out and then they straightened out the panels and replaced them in such a way that my garage is secured until we can get a new door installed. Allied was a lifesaver! My Association's snow plowing service smashed my garage door during last weekend's snow. My emergency call Sunday morning was returned quickly, Joe worked with me to get guys out here the next day to measure & inspect damage, helped me figure out a new garage door opener, then sent Bert out to install it yesterday. After my garage door violently broke, Allied came out with an excellent technician who looked over the issues and helped me know what needed to be fixed. I thought I was in for an overhaul and was worried about how much it would cost, but the tech walked me through it and explained to me the door systems could all be easily repaired and not replaced. They can fix anything, but they've really honed their skills on garage doors. My family, like many others, uses my garage door every day. It opens at least 25 times a day, . If you add the opening and closing of the door's , it's probably around 10,000 times a year. But here's the thing: my garage door was heavy and noisy. It was a real struggle wearing out my garage opener. Kevin, the technician, came to my rescue. He accurately weighed the doors, calculated the right springs, tensioned them correctly, and tuned the door to a gentle close. My wife is so happy since the garage door no longer can be heard in the upstairs bedroom every time someone comes in or out through the day. The Door Doctors did such a fantastic job on my first garage door I decided to have them work their magic on my other door even though it was already operational. When I compared it next to their work it was very obvious it was originally installed by total amateurs! Now both of the doors operate smoothly, and our counter balance to weigh almost nothing. I suspect this type of attention to detail will add considerable longevity and not require replacing springs frequently. Thanks again, Kevin! You're a true professional. And guess what? They also sell a replacement sprocket( SPEEDGEAR X2) for belt-driven garage door openers. The cost was very reasonable. At my new house , the garage door seal was falling apart and was not a standard type. One of my openers didn't work also and the other one was 25 years old. Pat came out and was able to replace the seals & seal mounts on both doors. They're now a standard type I can get at Home Depot if ever needed again. He also installed (2) new Liftmaster WLED openers, which are super quiet and have battery backup and really bright LED lights. Best part is the app that lets me open/close and check status of the doors from anywhere. I had a trouble code about 3 weeks after install and I contacted Pat to see how to resolve. He just stopped by and readjusted the sensors at no charge. Great service, great pricing and really nice guys.
